"One shoots strait and the other is a homing projectile."
I noted this before, however it's not a very good fire imo.

I agree with you about the best strategy for higher scores. In short: accept the "small Bonk' itens, change weapon everytime, and catch the big itens (5k) ever. The rest should be some small "score maximization" killing enemies and selecting key friends to each stage.

Cool.

I played just a few attempts in this game. I agree that the friends selection in important, however I'd study a bit more if I play this game again in the future.
I enjoyed watching your video.

By the way, do you know what is the advantage to collect the item that reduces your size (and get the basic weapon)??
As far as I know, the only benefit is "allow" you to collect other of these same items to get more 10k bonuses.

Well, this game is way better than I expected. Rate: 9!

See you!

Last month Air Zonk (played for highscore) zeroed scores when you use continues, however I'd suggest "not allowing" continues when competing for highscores.

For example, in Air Zonk, you get big points when defeat the each boss in the final stage (200k, 500k+...) and the final boss give you 10,000,000. So, any player that used continue in the last part, then finished the game, would have a higher score than a player that played very well in all the game, except that lost to the last boss.

In some games the score is not zeroed when continue is used, etc.
In Ghouls 'N Ghosts, it returns to zero.

Well, just my opinion: do not allow continues for highscore competition.

In the other hand, you may allow continues for speedrun competition, for obvious reason. By the way, continues were used in the last month's Bomberman '94 speedrun competition.

Now, a question: default difficulty is required for this competition? Note: GNG default is "Professional", and the other is "Practice".

See you!

Wow, so tight! 0.1 difference!

Congratulations, mainly for tyranit. I remember liking and voting well in your musics. Also cool that we both selected "Passing Breeze from OutRun"

quoting Guy A. Person:

"...pretty much as soon as it was available I found it and rated it a 5, which made it the top TurboGrafx song up until the stream on Tuesday..."

Cool. In the other hand, Davideo7 said that votes before the streaming would not count

During the event, I remembered a lot of good music from good games, mainly shmups. That's the idea.

Thanks!

----------

Davideo7: this time I prefer the $10, thanks!

Hi guys! I'm here in Vizzed mainly about the competitions, the HighScore and SpeedRun competitions. I like to play for records.

I recently played (and recorded videos) for these games:

Sonic 1 (Sega Master System) = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjd3gM4Xdgw
Air Zonk (TurboGrafx16) = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKzv3uLkJ98
Street Fighter II' Champion Edition (TurboGrafx16) = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTPKdo5PYuo

Well... any help / generosity / donation is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

PS.: I just purchased "A functional Atari 5200" from "SuperCrash64" in Market Vizzed, mainly to help (someone) and mainly for testing purposes. "5200", cool!

Well, I submitted ScreenShot + Video of 476,820 some days ago.
I just got 8,331,280, reaching the last boss (I'd not beat the 1st place score if finished the game, so no problem). I lost the exact moment to capture the screenshot of my record, then I waited and it was never shown again. Anyway I'm uploading the video to YouTube (Vizzed account) and it's going very slow, I think.
Anyway, congratulation to the winner(s), and I enjoyed this game.

Edit:
Here's a screenshot of my playback:
