I just went to the PLAY! - A Video Game Symphony premiere in Chicago, and Chrono Trigger got a standing ovation. In fact, the applause for Chrono Trigger/Cross were the loudest and longest applause there -- louder than for Nobuo Uematsu, louder than for Halo, louder than Zelda's applause.

It really inspired me to become more involved in this project. Godspeed on the new website. I'll be checking in once every week, or so, to see any updates.

Until then, I'll be happy knowing that Chrono got the recognition it deserved.

It should be a simple process for the register-er to change the URL in which it redirects (as simple as logging into an account and changing it.)

ctremake.com would probably be good. The cheapest way to do things would be to register ctremake.com, or another domain, and then have it redirect to vizzed.com/ctremake. That way, it requires almost no bandwidth for ctremake.com, because all it does is redirect you to the current website.


If we got a domain, I could try to get the petition on gaming sites, such as Joystiq and Kotaku. I'm sure the Nintendo forums and GameFAQs forums would help, as well.

Don't get discouraged, yet! The guys at starmen.net started their Mother 3 petition in 2002, and it took them over 2 years to reach 30,000 signatures. I think the important thing is to first get a good domain name -- vizzed.com/ctremake isn't any good for a 25,000+ signature petition.

Also, we need to publicize this more in the classic gaming community. Try to get starmen.net's support, talk about it on Chrono Compendium, etc...


Lastly, we need more people to go out and try to make this happen. I can try to get some signatures at IUPUI, but I don't know how well that will work.
