Hi everyone! I've looked through the faq and couldn't quite find an answer so I figured I would try posting. Currently I'm trying to play Conker's at the moment and am trying to play with a controller as I don't really like playing games with just a keyboard if I can help it. I haven't been able to figure out how to configure my Xbox controller to use while using the Mupen64Plus emulator. It wont let me Double Click to open menu so I don't even know if the option would be in there. I would use the 1964 emulator as the controller config does in fact work, however it runs pretty bad on my system while the Mupen64Plus runs flawlessly (at least from what I can tell from the startup alone). Has anyone else ran into this issue and been able to find a fix or work around? I've tried the FAQ section about remapping the controls for that emulator, but all of the posted images don't load and I think that is for keyboard only anyway. I would love to be able to use Vizzed for 64 emulation, but until I can find a way to use a controller with the emulator that runs well, it seems as though I won't be able to. Any help on this is appreciated!

Growing up watching The Angry Video Game Nerd I always thought games like these were the hardest and most unfair games to exist, but of course that was mostly a persona to make the game seem more hard than it really is.
Playing through the game as an adult and its clear where the developers intentions were. You must study the levels as you die time and time again until you figure out the solution the devs had in mind. Hard jump with an enemy covering your landing? Look around, chances are there is a jump attack power-up nearby. Stage boss have a lot of projectiles? Maybe there's a hidden weapon in the previous level that will help.
One thing that I really like about the game that's different from others around the same time are the way continues are handled. As far as I can tell they are unlimited and they don't even send you back very far at all. Feels very fair and feels very satisfying after conquering a boss that took a few tries to take on.
Movement feels very satisfying as for the most part your character is able to do what you would like him to do. Wall jumping back and forth feels very good and falling from a ledge doesn't send you straight to your doom (Looking at you Castlevania). They game feels the best when you know where the enemies are and you can beat the level without ever needing to stop, just hacking and slashing your way through your enemies.
Haven't quite beaten the game yet but I do intend to. Just need to take a break after attempting the 3rd Stage boss a few times.

FINAL UPDATE:
Finally got it working... needed to do a fresh wipe and install of the plugin and 2023 update. Took way too long to figure out. Sorry for wasting a thread, just needed to type my thoughts out loud to figure it all out I guess.

UPDATE:
I attempted to do a fresh install of Firefox and it turns out the "portable" Firefox was still on the most recent update. So now I am trying to see if I can find the "portable" Firefox to see if I can rollback any updates.

I got a really sweet electronic piano that I helped pay for. I had piano class back in high school, but I haven't touched the instrument since graduation. Ive been really wanting to get back into it to learn more about music theory and eventually be able to sight read and improvise music.

Having trouble getting Firefox to find the plugin after updating the browser several times. (in retrospect I shouldn't have messed with it) Should I do a fresh install of the Firefox browser to attempt fixing this or is there a known way of getting it to identify the plugin after being updated to the latest update. I was able to get it up and running when I first got it set up, I just needed to allow the RGR plugin after starting the emulation, but after updating, that option doesn't pop up and the browser now doesn't recognize the plugin after updating.
