Stockton90 : No, I think that if there will be any conflict on the Lakers, it will be between Kobe and Steve Nash and/or Mike Brown. I don't really think there will be any conflict between Dwight and Kobe since Dwight really isn't the type of player who holds the ball and backs his man down. Dwight mainly scores off of plays like pick and rolls. With Pau and Dwight, the Lakers now have two of the best pick and roll big men in the league, and Nash is (in my opinion) the best pick and roll point guard in the league. So if Dwight is scoring a lot, it will be because Nash is holding the ball and making passes to him, not because Dwight is holding the ball for the entire 24 seconds.

So, I think the Lakers have a decision to make on whether they want to play a pick and roll centered offense with Nash running the show, or have a similar offense to last year with the ball in Kobe's hands a lot. If Nash is controlling the ball all the time, I think Kobe might get frustrated just being another cog in Steve Nash's offense so there might be some conflict there.

But if I had to make a bet, I would bet that the Lakers would run a lot of the Kobe centered offense and a lot of the pick and roll offense. That way, Dwight and Pau get enough touches in pick and rolls and Kobe can still create his own shots. I think the Princeton offense that the Lakers will be running will allow them to do both, so it should be alright.

The biggest key for the Lakers though will be the bench. The Lakers, being an older team, will have to sit the starters for periods of time and if the bench can't be productive, they won't be able to beat the Heat, who have a great supporting cast now with Lewis, Allen, Miller, Haslem, and Chalmers.

P.S. I would also like to point out that this is not anything like the 2004 Lakers. In 2004, the four stars were all players who needed to have the ball in their hands to be productive, and that just doesn't work out. This current Lakers team will work much better together. To put it simply, Nash is the best passer in the league, Kobe is the best pure scorer in the league, Dwight is the best defender in the league, and Pau can pass, shoot, and defend pretty well. I really don't see any weaknesses in the Lakers starting lineup. Yes, Nash is not a great defender, but Dwight has more impact defensively than any player in the league and can stop players from scoring even if they get past Nash. The only weakness of the Lakers is their bench... possibly.

Big Bang Theory, no question about it. I love how unique it is. Who would've ever thought a show about a couple of PhD's doing research on physics and other complex sciences would be a hilarious comedy. Every episode of Big Bang Theory has clever jokes that make me laugh and then think to myself, "how do they come up with this stuff?"

Gotta be the N64. So many great games from that console. Super Mario 64, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros., etc etc.

Assassin's Creed 2, with Red Dead Redemption being a close 2nd. I am a big fan of games that take you back throughout history and that take the time to make sure the gameplay is historically accurate. Both games do excellent jobs of making you feel like you are actually back in the setting that the game takes place in, with Assassin's Creed actually based on real historical events. They are obviously both great games, but the fact that they are so historically accurate take it over the top for me.

Man I used to play Runescape for hours on end. Haven't played it for a couple years, but the 5-6 years I did, it was like at least 3 hours a day. That was like the first great MMORPG out there. Still think it's better than games like World of Warcraft, just because of the pure amount of content in Runescape. WoW is pretty much about killing stuff and running through dungeons, but Runescape lets you train over (around) 30 skills that all contribute to your ability to fight. Great game, but now I hear it's infested with bots.

Ocarina of Time was (in my opinion) the greatest game of all time until Red Dead Redemption came out. Skyward Sword, like a lot of Zelda games, are good, but it's not in the category of OoT.

Was not intentional. If you look at the video closely, he was going to pound his chest and Harden bumped his elbow which make MWP miss his chest and accidentally hit Harden. Why would you elbow someone in the head after a dunk? World Peace hasn't caused any problems since he joined the Lakers. This is not the Ron Artest of the Indiana Pacers, and to say that he is same person as back then is clearly wrong.

I hate Lebron with a passion. He just seems like a spoiled brat that abuses his power. Remember Nikegate, when someone at Lebron's camp dunked on him, and Lebron had Nike officials destroy the tape of him getting dunked on since it wouldn't hurt his image. What kind of spoiled image-obsessed jerk has a tape confiscated and then destroyed because he got dunked on? You think Michael or Kobe would have done that?

The East is probably only going to have one championship contender this year, and that's obviously the Heat. Chicago won't have Derrick Rose, Celtics lost Ray Allen, and Orlando lost their franchise center. Knicks or Nets could possibly compete for a title, but I'm not betting on that. West has 3 title contenders in the Lakers, Thunder, and Spurs, and the West is way deeper.

Conclusion: West better by a long shot.

Wow the Orlando Magic lost this trade big time. Clear winners are the other 3 teams in the trade. Denver now adds Iguodala, who is a versatile forward that can do just about everything and fits the Nuggets run and gun style. The 76ers get the 2nd best Center in the league who may very well become the best center in the league in a few years. The 76ers haven't had a dominant big since Moses Malone so this is clearly a win for them. The Lakers now have a defensive anchor in Howard to make up for Nash's defensive shortcomings. Everyone wins except the magic, who will be rebuilding until they get another #1 pick just to get another dominant center, who will eventually leave them.

I think 1992 wins but I think it is a closer game than people would think. A lot of people would say that 1992 had better bigs, but you have to remember that in 1992, bigs were allowed to do a lot more than they are today. The rules have changed to make bigs less effective offensively, like the back to the basket rule for example. Now a really strong center like Bynum can't just post you up anymore. I'm not sure that guys like Robinson and Ewing would be as good under the current rules.

Lakers. I have been a fan since I grew up watching the Kobe-Shaq days. In the 2000 NBA Finals, my sister was rooting for the Indiana Pacers because she liked Reggie Miller and I cheered for the other team just to make her angry. That other team happened to be the Lakers and I have liked them ever since.
