You know you play too much Zelda when you've read this entire thread.

You know you play too much Zelda when you can think of something that hasn't been said yet.

You know you play too much Zelda when you discover various online gaming sites looking for more of it.

You know you play too much Zelda when you think a compass is supposed to tell you the exact location of specific items.

You know you play too much Zelda when you are always getting new keys made to replace the ones you have used.

You know you play too much Zelda when you don't get lost in the water temple.

You know you play too much Zelda when you fight Darknuts for fun.

You know you play too much Zelda when you are just now taking the time to try out Mega Man and Metroid.

My last download was when I reinstalled tank inspector (a useful tool for people who play world of tanks) after it stopped working. Other than that my last download was the RGR plugin.

My first thought when I saw the thread was "what? I just got here!" My first thought when I clicked on it... "check the date."

I am also using chrome and I just correct any spelling errors with that. I do use the spell checker partly because of the Viz and partly because I have to because of my newbie status. Usually I just end up telling it to ignore a bunch of gamer terms or user names that it doesn't recognize as real words.

In all honesty I suppose the Viz isn't really a big deal, the Viz you get instantly upon creating an account and taking the newbie quiz along with the extra 100 per day when you log in is more than enough to keep me entertained indefinitely with a constant supply of new old games to play.

For me personally its not the spell checker I need to worry about so much as being sure I proofread all my posts, making sure I didn't leave out any words creating a weird gap in my sentence.

My favorite would have to be The Legend of Zelda. I admit there are a lot of very popular game series that I have never played (that will soon change thanks to the RGR) but Zelda just goes way back for me. I was only 3 years old when Ocarina of Time came out, but I still remember watching/playing it on my brother's Nintendo 64, along with link to the past on the Super Nintendo.

I did once try a subscription to Nintendo Power and as soon as one of the articles made me realise Ocarina of time was that game I played when I was little, I knew I wanted to get it. I picked up a physical copy of the game for around three dollars at a yard sale. In the end I just downloaded an electronic copy of the game onto the Wii and played it using virtual console. I found that my memories of the game were greatly embellished, but it was still fun.

Over the years this series has brought many new things to gaming, the original Legend of Zelda was the first home console game with a save feature, Ocarina of Time (along with Super Mario 64) was one of the games that proved 3D game worlds where a viable option, and Twilight Princess brought motion control to the table and proved that Zelda can be a smooth and intuitive experience (even aside from the motion controlled aspects.)

Well, that's my take on it. I'll be sure to check out all the other game series I missed out on. (insert clever/generic closing word here.)

I have only ever used Internet explorer and google chrome and I have to say, google chrome is a million times more convenient in my opinion. I feel that chrome is a lot more user friendly, it's easy to access the history tab to track down sites you want to revisit but haven't been to enough to type two letters in the bar and hit enter, it's easy to find all those nice extra features (like adblock) and, as someone who has played a lot of flash games, I find the larger window lets me do more things comfortably without having to go full screen.

I admit there are some things that run rather poorly on chrome that work a little better on IE, but I still prefer chrome and will continue to use it, only switching to IE in the rare situation where something gives me problems.

I have a friend who plays old school runescape a lot. He has been runescape since about 2009 I think and, like most players that have been around awhile, he doesn't like EOC very much.

A few months ago he convinced me to make an RS account. I played a good bit at first (EOC that is, I'm a noob that doesn't know any better) but now I just log in every now and then. Often I'm on just long enough to complete a couple of daily challenges.

My friend really likes to go bossing but apparently its hard to get a team together, if you're interested in something like that go ahead and ad him. His user name is "mourge seth" (I got his permission before posting it.)

I read somewhere that new users are supposed to introduce themselves in the newbie forum, so here I am.

I ran across this site a while back looking for some place to play the original Legend of Zelda online. I just now made an account (downloaded the emulator and took the newbie quiz) so that I can play some of the old GBA games that would be hard to track down physically. I first got into gaming a long time ago. I was only 3 years old when Ocarina of Time came out but I still remember watching my brother play it on his Nintendo 64 (and playing myself from time to time.)

I read about how earning and spending vizz works and it looks like a really good system. I like how the threads that are most punishing for spam posts are also the most rewarding for good ones.

Well, I guess thats about all I have to say for this post. Glad to be here and I hope I enjoy my stay.

Sincerely,

     FoamwallJackson
