Now, this is one of the very first Kirby games I got my hands on, aside from seeing one of my relatives play Kirby Super Star.
And It's safe to say this is the game that got me into the series.

Graphics: 7
The graphical style for this game works pretty well for a Kirby game, the visuals are bright and colorful, and almost every area looks different. The reason I didn't rate this higher is because the same kind of art style was used for Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and Kirby: Squeak Squad. If not for that fact, I would rate it higher.

Sound: 8
All the music tracks that you know and love from Kirby's Adventure have been remade with the same spirit as the original, but newer. The sound effects have also been remade in the same way. Again, though, most of the music tracks/sound effects have been used in other games, so it's not rated as high as it could be.

Addictiveness: 9
I don't know why, but I keep coming back to this game again and again. It just has so many good things about it, and with that classic Kirby charm, it's quite addictive.

Story: 6
The story for this game is actually pretty simple, as with most Kirby games. King DeDeDe has stolen and broken apart the Star Rod, an item that, when placed atop the Fountain of Dreams, allows the citizens of Dreamland to dream at night. Kirby notices the dreams are gone, and sets off to get the Star Rod back. Pretty basic.

Depth: 10
Now, I usually wouldn't put this that high on a Kirby game, but the depth of this game is amazing. Beat story mode? Boss rush. 100% story mode? Extra mode. 100% extra mode? Another full-length game mode presents itself. I have yet to see a Kirby game that can rival that amount of depth. Maybe Kirby's Return to Dreamland, but it's a stretch.

Difficulty: 5
Kirby games aren't really that difficult. What can I say? The series was made for folks new to video games.

Overall Rating: 9.4
Although this game may appear simple at first glance, but it's got quite a bit of content to offer. Colorful levels, catchy and upbeat music, silly characters, simple controls that anyone can get into, and because of the fact that it's handheld, you can take it pretty much anywhere. This has always been one of my favorite Kirby titles, and It just has something that makes me keep coming back to it.

When I stumbled upon this game, I thought it looked really cool! Metal Sonic is one of my favorite Sonic characters, so I knew this would be fun. And it  was! I'll go over the basics first.

Graphics get an 8. I think most of the animations for Metal Sonic are done really well! He animates smoothly and it looks great. The animations seem to mimic the ones used in Sonic 4: Episode Metal. And that's not the only time inspiration is take from that game, either. There are a few things I don't like about Metal's graphics, such as the Super Sonic sprite, and the goal plate art, but I think they're done pretty well.

Sound gets a 7. I noticed that the Spin Dash sound effects sounded a bit more hydraulic. Other than that minor difference, I didn't notice any other sound modifications.

Addictiveness gets a 6. The idea of this game is fun, but there isn't that much that has changed. The only differences I noticed were a double jump. Which, again, is taken from Sonic 4: Episode Metal.

Story gets a 3, mostly just because there isn't really a new one. It's just Sonic 3&Knuckles, but with Metal Sonic.

Depth gets a 4. As I said, I is just Sonic 3&Knuckles. Having a double jump/midair dash does add minor exploration, but nothing other than that is worth noting.

Difficulty: 5. Again, just Sonic 3 &Knuckles. Not incredibly hard.

Overall, this game gets an 8.5. It's a fun little mod/hack that is certainly interesting, it seems like Sonic 3&Knuckles: Episode Metal. I think you should give it a try, even if it doesn't have too much to offer.
