The Oregon Trail is a great game when it works. Very addicitive and really makes you realise that you dont need great sound and great graphics to have a great game. Really took me back to high school in the early 90s. Unfortunately, this version of The Oregon Trail is hit and miss (more miss than hit, to be honest) when it come to whether it works or not, as the game often crashes at the first river. On the other hand, if you are willing to repeat the first 5min a few times, then The Oregon Trail gives you a really rewarding and thought provoking story line which is educational at the same time. Just dont let your kids die of cholera!

It is a shame that this and all other Game Boy Advance versions of Madden that are on this site do not seem to work. It loads fine, goes into game and season and team set up fine, moves through the game settings fine, but as soon as you start to play an actual match, there is no possible way to see the play-calling screens. Unfortunately, this is probably one of the most important features of an NFL-related game. becasue of this, this game and all other Madden roms on the game Boy Advance suck eggs through a hose pipe. I mean, what is the point? Half the time you can not even get to the game play screen becasue you are not even sure how to call whatever play you have to call to get there in the first place. Big disappointment. It looks like tecmo is the winner here.

So, I have been playing WinBack - Covert Operations a couple of times now and really enjoy it but i have a problem with the game also.
It seems that the RGR plug-in crashes a lot when playing WinBack - Covert Operations. I don't know why, but it can be quite annoying! Even when it doesn't crash, there is often a gray square moving across the screen.
The major problem with WinBack - Covert Operations, however, is that I cannot find how to save the game. When WinBack - Covert Operations starts, it asks if you would like to load from various data paks, but with a warning that those data paks are corrupt and therefore the files on them may be corrupt. I am not sure what is wrong, but they never seem to save anything!
The other part of the WinBack - Covert Operations save game problem is that i cannot find out how to save once IN the game itself. You would think it would be within the "within game menu", but I cannot find it. I was wondering if the option to save WinBack - Covert Operations is removed from the in-game menu if the data paks are corrupt.
Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to progress in the game, although at least i am becoming quite good at the first couple of levels!

Tecmo World Cup Soccer is quite good for a top-down 2 button game. Tecmo World Cup Soccer can be quite hard to defned given that you cannot change the player you are controlling but must wait foe the computer to change for you, but Tecmo World Cup Soccer's game play itself is quick and reactive, meaning that you must accurately pass to teammates rather than just run swerving down the field as in some other soccer games. All in all, Tecmo World Cup Soccer is good but is let down by its difficulty.

Solomon's Key was a game I used to love in the mid 80s back on my old trusty Commodore 64 and playing Solomon's Key again is like taking a trip back down memory lane to times of candyfloss and Thundercats and fluorescent pink headbands and so on. Solomon's Key is a masterpiece of one-screen platform puzzle-solving, all with catchy tunes and crazy monsters. Sweet!

Nobunaga's Ambition is Hard hard hard. Without instructions, it is like trying to fly a jet plane knowing only how to ride a bicycle. I am sure that Nobunaga's Ambition it is all probably worth it if you can actually figure out how to play it, what things do what, and why you would do some things some times and not others. It would probably also help to read Japanese. But I can't, so Nobunaga's Ambition gets a high score for potential and a low score for enactment in my books.

Battle of Napoleon is a total waste of time and Viz. Battle of Napoleon requires the player to have the original documentation to play the game, as Battle of Napoleon asks for a specific word from a specific page to run. Without this documentation, you cannot play Battle of Napoleon, and so do not even bother loading this waste of time game.

Tecmo Super Bowl may be the greatest NFL/American Football game produced. I would love it if they re-made Tecmo Super Bowl with today's graphic technology and with updated rosters and players. It would put Madden to rest for sure!
There are plenty of Tecmo Super Bowl help sites and roster/cheat sites all over the internet, so why reproduce that stuff here.
Instead, I am going to ask why is the RGR version of Tecmo Super Bowl that I get am always stuck at the end of a season? I have tried waiting for all the credits and starting a new season, but to no avail! I have tried the reset button. It is unfortunate, becasue I love Tecmo Super Bowl.

War of the Lance the game is total rubbish...
The screen is too small and the letters too blurry. This makes ir impossibel to see anything or to read all the obviously important info.
Plus, at some point, to start the game you firstly need to "flip disk" to use. This may be fine for IT whizzes, but unfortuantely a run-of-the-mill Noob like me doesn't know how!
All this is very upsetting, as I love both the War of the Lance books and the War of the Lance Ad&D roleplaying series.
So, final review of the War of the Lance the computer game:
WORST GAME EVER!!!

the head says steelers, the heart says packers, but i dont really care who wins as long as it is the great game i am expecting.
so i guess i put my Viz on GREEN BAY

Hi all,

I keep getting the same error message every time I try to load a RGR Plugin game:
"Failed to load game. This is either caused by a downlaod error or another game running in a different window".
I have uninstalled and re-installed the plug-in, but keeps happening for every game.
Any ideas on how to fix?

Been trying to play L'Empereur, but both the NEScafe and the VNES emulators don't seem to work. Thought it may be my computer, but I have now tried on 3 separate comps and no go.
