The Metal Gear Solid franchise as a whole is quite sad I can see myself crying in any of the games.  But the end of MGS3 takes the cake, I wont tell you much because of spoilers but... She was a true patriot...

For RPGs I recommend Earthbound  or Chrono Trigger (both SNES) .
For action I'd say the metroid games.
And for adventure you should play Legend of Zelda,
specifically a Link to the Past (SNES),  Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask (N64).

That my friend, is a killjoy. I want to know if you've ever ran into one. If so, when? Any part of a great game that just messes it up. A part you just
don't look forward to when you revisit it. For me its the Siren/Lady Comstock in BioShock Infinite. Anyone who has beaten it know what I'm talking about. I wont talk about it to much because of spoilers. I'll just say she is one tough boss that you fight not once, not twice, but 3 times!
But that's just me, what do you think? Comment  if you're feeling really nice like or favorite!

If its a 2D platformer you want I would say Sonic 3 and/or 2 (Sega Genesis).
If its an FPS than its definitely BioShock 1 (PS3, 360, and PC) or BioShock Infinite ( PS3, 360, and PC).

It really pains me to say this but I think Sonic is the worst.
He covers both the Unfair and Annoying parts of it.
His gameplay to me is just overall annoying.
None of his special attacks do much damage.
I cant knock someone off with a Spin Dash even when the other character
is at 200 percent! And dont even get me started on his taunt!
He's unfair in the aspect of his final smash. One hit sends you flying.
