Lee-San’s Pokémon Emerald Review
Hey everyone! I am new here, and this is my first review, so I hope you like
it! Alright, so here it goes. Pokémon Emerald is a wonderful game that got my
full attention the first time that I played it. Now that I have said the main
point of this review, I will go to the main part of this review!
Overall: 9.5 So, this game is AWEOMSE! I must say that it has a wonderful
amount of good parts, and not many bad parts as you will see by this review.
Now, this game was made a while back, and in an era of the rise of the good
games. Not only did this come in a good rise of games, but it also was at the
head and at the point of the era. Now the game did have the standard Pokémon
format, but it also had a good amount of extra story detail. Now, most of
people who have ever heard of Pokémon have played this game, but if you haven’t
played it, I would tell you to go play it now, you won’t regret it.
Graphics: 9 This game has really great graphics! When this game was put out in
stores, it was not very common for a game to have good graphics, so this was a
wonderful jump! The graphics are a part that has always just blown me away! I
still to this day play the games that came around this game, and I never thought
that the graphics were as good.
Sound: 10 This game sounds great! I am more of an old time gamer, so its style
of music is very good to me, and that is why I love it so much! Also I love how
good sounding they made it by putting in different types of sounds! In the
first couple of games,the sound is OK but it doesn't have the type of sound
that this game has which makes it very special for me!
Addictiveness: 10 This game is a very addicting one! Not only is the story long
and thought out, which makes you want to play it, it has so much that you want
to accomplish so you will keep playing it! I would say that it is one of the
most addicting of the Pokémon games! Once I first picked up the game I couldn't
stop playing it and you can't either!
Story: 6 Well, the story is very long and thought out, but all Pokémon games
are like that and there is not much added to it so I can't really give it a
super high score. Yes the game does add some story events like team aqua and
team plasma, but that is about the only thing that keeps it different from any
other Pokémon game. Also, there is the after champion story which makes it
really great!
Depth: 10 You all should know this about all Pokémon games, they are long. I
mean you have to train all of your Pokémon to go through each town and beat
every trainer which takes quite a while. The champion saga also takes a very
long time because of how strong they are compared to the gym leaders and
trainers coming up to them.
Difficulty: 4 This game is perfect in this slot. The game comes in at a good 4, which is in the middle. That means that the game is not too hard, or too easy which is always a good thing. That means you can complete the game without having to cheat so you can do it and you don't just go right through it and you are done. With this game you just keep going and you never get too mad at the game.
