I just started watching FairyTail about a week and half ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. If anybody else is a fan and wants to talk about the show, I'd be happy to! -------------------- |

I had made another thread about Fallout 4 but it was closed. I didn't want this work to go to waste so I hope its ok that I that I posted it in here also. Thanks. Out of all the games that are destined to come out in the somewhat near future, besides Dark Souls 2, Fallout 4 has to be the game that I am anticipating the most. I am an avid and still very active fan of the Fallout franchise, with Fallout 3 being my favorite. Fallout 3 was in every way a perfect game, at least in my mind. Traveling the wasteland while gathering deadly weapons and facing lethal enemies, such as the super mutant behemoth's and deathclaws, is a style of game play that suits me and countless other people very well. Having Liam Neeson as the voice of your dad in the game makes it even better. The only downside that has ever detracted from the experience for me would be encountering the various bugs and glitches that the game has. Aside from that, the story has keep me going back and forth to it for years now, and I expect that it wont stop anytime soon. I wont say anything else about the story just in case someone has not played it yet. If you haven't played it, then you are really missing out and need to get your hands on a copy, ASAP. You will not regret it. But enough about that. Lets talk about Fallout 4! Fallout 4 is the next installment of the Fallout series, that is thought to follow after the story of Fallout 3. There has been a lot of speculation and rumors about the story, which have been discredited. However, the rumor about Boston was discredited when it first arose, but now some of the people involved have hinted that Fallout 4 may indeed take place in Boston. In Fallout 3, there were numerous references throughout the game that has led people to believe that Fallout 4 will take place in Boston. Specifically, this is indicated by the android quest line, involving Dr. Zimmer. During the quest, Zimmer makes numerous references to The Institute and The Commonwealth. The commonwealth is most definitely talking about Boston, which in the game would be called the Massachusetts wasteland, and The Institute could be referring to MIT. The technology at the Institute far surpasses anything that was in the Capital wasteland. At least when it comes to robotics and androids. This makes a Boston setting pretty exciting to think about. This setting in Boston has been backed up by the fact that Bethesda has been seen in Boston, surveying the land. Could they be planning the setting for Fallout 4? At this point, it is just speculation. Keep in mind, nothing is set in stone at this point. There is still a huge gap that separates us from the release of Fallout 4, so there is still a lot of room to change. At the end of this post, I will copy a link to a Youtube series that wont steer you wrong, if you want to study it further. One of the major concerns that I have about this game is not the game itself, but the accessibility of the game for me personally. I am a college student and I am not planning to get a new system now or maybe ever, depending on the circumstances. Unless somehow my family wins the lottery within the next couple of years. Don't get me wrong, I am very very excited for this game to come out and I want to play it very bad. I realize that there are priorities that come before video games so I will do what I have to do, even though I will hate it. I just want to express my concern and see if anyone else was in the same boat. This being said, Fallout 4, along with many other games, may not be available for the Xbox 360 upon their release. This worries me. I would hate to not be able to play one of my favorite game series just because I cant afford the All of this aside, I am very excited to see what Bethesda has in store for us, involving Fallout 4. Please, if I made a mistake about any of the information, let me know and I will be glad to hear it and correct it. I am not perfect and I don't pretend to be. We all live in a modern age that surrounds itself with technology, whether it be a computer, television or an IPod. If technological addiction was a disease, it would have wiped all of humanity out years ago. This modern, fast paced world that we all live in requires the use of multiple types of technology on an everyday basis in some form or another. This fact poses the question that states, if technology was taken away from us would we be able to cope without it. For me, this question involving technological dependence is already answered. I know that if I am caught without my iPod or phone, it feels like the world has been turned upside down. It almost feels like a part of myself is missing. Of course, I can manage without it if I have to, but it feels more comfortable when I can surf the web or check twitter, instead of awkwardly looking around the room to avoid staring at the floor for an hour. Please, tell me how you feel about this topic. from us would we be able to cope without it. For me, this question involving technological dependence is already answered. I have already made a post asking, what is your favorite rock/metal band, so I figured I should ask about your favorite songs. For me, I would have to say that Fade to Black by Metallica is my favorite song. While it is a depressing song if you listen to the lyrics, the guitar rifts and the melody make it worth while for me. If you read my other thread, you might think that the only band I know or care about is Metallica. I assure you that is not the case. Metallica is my favorite band, so it would be hard for me to name an all-time favorite song that wasn't by them. If you cant decide on what your favorite is, make a short list of your top three or five. Again, you don't have to respond but if you have the time, I would very much like to see every ones favorite songs. Thanks. -------------------- |

Yeah thanks. This was very helpful. I especially liked Entombed, Sinergy, and Stone. Just the type of music I am looking for. I had never heard of any of these bands prior to this. I will definitely find a way to add these to my collection eventually, when I get some extra money. Again, thanks for taking the time to help me out. -------------------- |

Sorry, your right. I could have been a little more specific. I'm familiar with most of the big timers, such as Megadeth, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin, just to name a few. Also, some of the relatively new and well established bands, such as Five Finger Death Punch, Rise Against, Disturbed, A Day To Remember, Three Days Grace, Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys. Also just to name a few that I know. Mostly, I'm interested in rock and certain types of metal, with the occasional alternative thrown in. Ill check out anything you post here when I get the time, and let you know what I think of it. Thanks for replying. -------------------- |

Personally, I enjoy hard rock and metal the most out of all of the genre's of music. I listen to some alternative, but sometimes that gets a little to soft for me. My top three bands that somewhat fall into all three categories would be Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, and Rise Against. -------------------- |

You guys have listed some very good and interesting bands, some of which I have never heard of before. Thank you for responding. I am in the process of trying to expand my own music collection, with rock and metal at its core, so any further recommendations of music would be greatly appreciated. Try to get as many people as you can to post their favorite bands. Of course, if you cant or don't want to, that's fine also. -------------------- |

Hello. I just wanted to take the time to ask people what their favorite rock, hard rock, or metal band is. As for me, Metallica has and probably always will be my favorite. I think throughout their career, they have been designated as a mix between rock and metal. Some of their songs are soft enough to appeal to rock listeners, and some are definitely heavy enough for a metal audience. But enough about that, tell me what your favorite is! Please respond. -------------------- |

Personally, I was hoping that Five Finger Death Punch either performed there or won a Grammy for their new albums, The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side of Hell- Volume 1 and 2.I was a little disappointed when I saw that neither of them would happen. On second thought though, The Grammies shouldn't be thought of as the only voice that matters in music. Sure it can award achievement where it is due, but if someone is not -------------------- |

Well for me, the decision wasn't very hard. I am a diehard Metallica fan, so that pretty much decided itself for me. Whatever category they were in is fine by me. This being said, I still like all of the other sub categories in metal, but if I had to pick, thrash metal would be my favorite. -------------------- |
