I listen to Japanese music more than I do English. My favourites would be Morning Musume - Lovendor - Alice Nine - GazettE - Royz - Gakido. Hm I don't have a favourite but I do have favourite from each band so I will list those.

MM - Shabondama.
L - Doesn't really have their own music yet.
AN - Rainbows or Q.
G - Psychedelic Heroine.
R - eve:r
G - Happy maker.

I got into Japanese music originally in 2007 right as Bou left An CafÈ, I was so annoyed that he left that I stopped listening to it until 2010-2011 when I discovered GazettE. Their music got me interested in Jrock/visual kei and eventually that led to Japanese music in general though I still prefer Jrock/visual kei over any other type of music Morning Musume (a jpop girl group) is actually my favourite band that I have listed.

With the language barrier I feel it does and doesn't, it does in the fact that I can't listen to the song and understand it's true meaning without looking up the lyrics but you don't need to know the words to be able to enjoy music or feel an emotion whilst listening to it. The first Japanese song that brought an emotional response from me was a song by GazettE (not posting the title due to the lyrics) I was listening to it from a live recording and just the way it was sang/performed/sounded reduced me to tears you could hear the pain in Ruki's voice. So I do think it depends on why you are listening to the music.

So I have been on the site for 25 days now and haven't really looked at the boards much, never had much reason to since I was here purely to play the games but now I decided to join in the communication too. 

My name is Kiyo and I am a 23 year old from England, my birthday is the very last day of the year. Yes I have a party to go to regardless of what birthday it is.

Hmm what got me started on this site? Well lets see I was searching for a game I believe it was Pokémon, Google showed me a few results and this was one of them so I joined and have been playing the games ever since.

My favourite games: (I am splitting this into categories.)

Spectrum - Chaos the battle of wizards.
Sega -  Dizzy, Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Road Rash, Bloodshot.
Game boy/color - Pokémon (all of them)
Nintendo/Super - Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, Loony Tunes.
Game boy advance - Pokémon (again all of them) Harvest Moon more friends of mineral town.
PS1 - Harvest Moon back to nature, KKND Krossfire, Command & Conquer red alert/retaliation, Blaze and Blade, Future Cop LPD, Star Wars Episode 1 Phantom Menace.
Nintendo 64 - Mario, Pokémon Stadium.
PS2 - X-Men, GTA, Harvest Moon, Fantastic Four, Buffy Chaos bleeds, Sims, Urbz, Tomb Raider.
X-box - Fable, Sudeki.
Wii - Tomb Raider, Zelda.
Ds - Mario, Pokémon.

I think that is about all, the few games that I enjoy playing over and over and never seem to get bored of them are Zelda, Pokémon, Harvest Moon, KKND and Command & Conquer. I don't why but I can play those games repeatedly.
