I've never battled one of the Frontier Brains, so the hardest trainer I've ever fought would be Steven. Matters were not helped by the fact that Rayquaza becomes my primary Pokemon once I catch it prior to getting my 8th badge or by the fact the game guide I was using showed his levels wrong, but I managed to snag a win.

The problem did clear up the day after I created this thread (though it did return again soon, but because I haven't messed with the controls since, I've been able to play the game), so perhaps time in the answer.

I would use another emulator, but because I'm doing a LP of Emerald, I don't wish to start over.

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place or breaking some other rule, but I'm having problems with Emerald and desperately want help.

I'm using the Vizzed Plug-In version without the chat box.

When I bring up the menu to alter the joy pad controls, the first entry (which is for up movement) is cleared out. No matter which key I hit, it only briefly displays the character before clearing the box. I tried altering some other controls, but they also got cleared. I hit ok hoping the problem would sort itself out, only it got worse. Now I'm stuck without Up movement, Button A, Button B, and Button L. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
