Indica by Savant, off of his brand new album Vybz. All I have to say is sweet mother of god is this man a living legend. Seriously, give the song a listen. Heck, even the album; it's the kind you could easily get through in one sitting. |

One of us, one of us, one of... Wait a minute, you're almost one of us, but not quite. Meh, your fandom has enough overlap I suppose. Welcome to a specialized little corner of nerdom! Try not to get lost in the cringe as you make your way to a healthy community~ For there shall be much if you look in the wrong places.

I'd suggest banning his IP(s) if he's a legitimate problem for the site. If not, then just keep tabs on him, building a case file so when you do eventually have to IP ban him you have evidence to support your decision. Don't DDOS him, though. You fell for a catfish that you had the resources to tell was a re-reg of a user with a personality problem. Besides, you're 14. At this age you're allowed to make mistakes, have vague pleasent feelings about someone that isn't real. You are not, in the eyes of the law at least, allowed to outright attack people, whether physically or through cyberspace. |

So, like, ohmigod. Just got back from the Caravan Palace concert and they were bloody stunning live! I swear, recordings don`t do the music justice now that I`ve seen them perform it live. So much energy! So much talent! They all played multiple instruments, well, except the singer and DJ. She was too busy dancing and he was in the shadows. Funny thing, that; the DJs a real dark black guy, like non mixed looking. Save for the glow of equipment and the occasional light strobing on him you couldnt see him at all, almost forget he exists. Which reminds me: the opener! Dude was bloody fantastic, talented. He both DJed and played the violin simultaneously. It was really interesting to watch him do this. Everything about his set was done live, on the fly; even the loopings and modulation of the output of his violin. Some DJs dont do stuff like that - Deadmau5, for example - and instead choose to do something more akin to a memory game, albeit a mighty complex one but still. God, I`m almost tempted to go to pride and try his performance he was so good. Which brings me to another thing... How many different types of people were attendence! I saw everything from a preteenn girl to grand parents, hipsters and preppies, a transvestite (dude was already tall and in heels, like 7ft altogether. Pulled the outfit off though; better than most of the woman I know could have if I`m being honest) and an asian gangster. Hell, there was even an old, traditional minded looking couple sitting beside a gay couple without so much as a sour glance! By the end if the concert we were all the same, though. We all adored the funky beats and high energy of the show, sung along to Black Betty (yea, they played a swing version of that song!) and clapped along during Dramaphone. I bloody love how good music can bring people together |

It really depends on my mood at the time, but generally dubstep or heavy metal, particularily albums by artists/bands such as Savant, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Excision, and Adrian von Ziegler (amazing composer, by the way. I highly suggest listening to some of stuff - especially Gleipnir). |

If I may ask, what is the purpose of this thread? I'm confused by the line "Religion. Bible Trivia Contest. Bible. The Final Test of Man."I haven't given much thought to my eternal soul and I don't really intend to. What will be will be. I am not going worry about what happens to me after I die. This is life and it is meant to be lived. |

We will abandoned the concept of life we know now and become ætherial beings, capable of manipulating matter with naught but our focused will. We will become virtual demigods without corporeal form... That is at least by our current idea of what demigodhood is. /s Nah, what I really believe will happen to most of the life on earth by then is extinction or high forms of evolution that we are barely capable of guessing at, with humans becoming one of the extinct species. While it is thought the human condition is the highest form possible for an unenlightened soul, I believe something will come to |

oh, I loved those books when I was your age! Got me into me reading actual books instead of ones with a ton of pictures, able to commit to a series for a couple thousand pages (or the equivolant thereof for the videogames and TV shows). I think I stopped reading them after the fourth or fifth arch, whichever one happened after the eclipse. I think it's one of the reasons why I love the fantasy genre so much.
zanderlex : The first book is Into the Wild. It's aimed at young audiences, though, if that means anything to you. zanderlex : The first book is Into the Wild. It's aimed at young audiences, though, if that means anything to you. |

Completly RNG based trophies annoy me to no end. There's this one game on my Steam, Armello, and a few of the trophies are for exremely low chance random encounters. I get it, your game uses an RNG for pretty much everything (boardgame-like), but why make a trophy for accepting the item from that 5%/20% chance encounter on the forest tile (about a 5% chance to be picked as an outcome, about a 20% chance to be picked out of the choosen outcomes)? Also, online trophies irritate me. There are just some that I'm unable to achieve because I'm only good at PvE or becuase the online lobbies are dead and have been since a month after launch. |

I last played Oblivion... Yeah, I would be fine. I literally stopped an apocolyspe. Alright, technically Martin did, but anything can be acheived when you have the favour of the Mad God and are a heavy armour wearing two-handed sword slashing master conjurer in armour blessed by the eight divines themselves... |

Well, I would suggest you cut contact with her or stick to some what anonymous IM services (Steam, Vizzed, Reddit, that sort of thing) if you're desperate about maintianing contact with her... But thats just me. I'm one of those people who don't share personally identifying information over the internet (I'd use a VPN if I had the money) and what you've done has kind of made me shudder... Heck, I don't even use voice chat let alone video chat with someone I IM with on a regular basis (looking at you, people in my LoL group). Do I have any suggestions on how to convince your parents she's not a paedophile? Nope. I'm still not fully convinced she's all she seems. Besides, I doubt what you're feeling towards her is anything but puppy love, something that will pass soon enough. And she lives on another continent, you say? It would be extremely difficult to start a relationship with that distance... |
