Ghosts and Ghoulies for the C64...wow that was a long time ago lol
Then I had a Sega Megadrive and played the hell out of Sonic 2 and a game I think was called Crock son of Rock...or something like that.
The game that got me hooked on video games was FFVII, first game for my brand new PS1...god I was in love.
I really need to get my hands on a Windows PC and a copy of that.

I don't think computer games really affect kids all that much, I've been playing GTA's since I was about 12, my best friends little brother has been playing them since he was 6.
Granted he's a little bastard but that's due to his parents spoiling him and his sister (who's a complete b**** but not a gamer).
It all comes down to your parents and social circles, my generation are really a generation of gamers and non of my friends have ever tried to emulate something they have seen in a video game.
Perhapse we just don't have moronic parents.
Bring your children up with a good grounding in what common sense is and you won't have a problem.
For god's sake keep them away from Hannah Montanna, actually keep them away from any programs released after 2000, should be safe with 90's stuff xD

PC will never beat Consoles.
'Moore's law describes a long-term trend in the history of computing hardware, in which the number of transistors that can be placed inexpensively on an integrated circuit has doubled approximately every two years.' (Yes that was from wikipedia but it goes along with what I remember from PC Maintenance).
I bought my 360 three years ago and have been using it as it was, out of the box, ever since.
If I wanted to play the games I do on my 360 on a PC I would firstly need to buy a stupidly expensive PC, then I'd need to upgrade my hardware to match the next quality jump (more expense again) and I would have to continue doing this until I maxed the upgrades my computer was capable of taking.
Once you've maxed it you have to buy an entire new computer and are left with a metal box of expensive doorstops.
The PC has better graphics but only if your willing to pay through the nose again and again.

Hey there, I'm new to this site but I think I may be in love.
Been getting into retro games recently, loving the old FF's and it was actually the FFVII Nes remake that brought me here, I think I shall be staying xD

Anyway, hi!
