Sonic CD: Worthwhile or Overrated?

I enjoyed sonic cd, the dashing around, the rings, stopping robotnik, ah the classic formula.Sonic cd offered a better view of things. Sonic, as you know is a hedgehog who wants everyone to just live life and not hurt each other, Dr. Robotnik however wants the egg empire (I think that's what it is called) to take over the world and Sonic stops him...repeatedly, Dr. Robotnik after failing creates a super robot to live, adapt, grow stronger, find weaknesses and exploit them, and obtain new powers to rival if not utterly destroy sonic the hedgehog, this new "metal sonic" puts a spin on the classic formula, instead of just breezing through the level and fighting a boss, sometimes you have to escape because you can't win against something that strong. The graphics, the sounds, the uhh....woodland creatures are all in this sonic extravaganza, and YOU were invited just press start.

if you had to fight a Nintendo war, with only you and 1 other Nintendo character to fight beside you who would you choose?

This isn't just a poll, It's other peoples opinions, so please be respectful,


Also, characters may not have help, fire emblem/kid icarus can not have their armies fight for you, power ups are fine, and arsenals as well, but to make it interesting, a character may only have an arsenal from 1 and only 1 game (I.E. Link may have the Ocarina of Time items, or the Majora's Mask, but he can't switch the picture box with the boomerang, choose a set and stick with it)
