I got into the franchise kind of late, in 2010. Ocarina was my second Zelda game in early 2011 (got it for Wii VC), and it was spectacular. I was playing as one who knew no spoiler ('cept Smash Bros ruined Ganondorf for me... darn), so a lot of the things that happened invoked the intended reaction on me; I was scared at the right moments, I was happy at the right moments, the game was suspenseful where it was supposed to be so. As sonic said, I found the game rather easy; the challenge was in finding where you had to go. Thanks Navi... Every day I went to school at the time, I found myself humming some of the enchanting tracks, such as the Spirit Temple. 'Twas a vast world, Hyrule. |

Midna, as is commonly mentioned, is a good companion as she has a high degree of plot significance. Also, Spirit Tracks Zelda is a good choice for the same reason... I think Spirit Tracks is the game where Zelda herself bears the most screen time (Skyward Sword is probably a close second). |

Razor-987 :
Umbreon may have good bulk, but it has little potential above curse or toxic stall, both which can be taunted. Plus, anything else, such as baton passing, would require dedicated teams. (I've seen in game AI use the above...) Intriguingly, it has a diverse offensive move pool particularly in the special field but you can't really make use of its attacking stats other than to subvert taunts. Next up, Snivy. Well, here I go.
10. Link's Awakening DX- It was confusing and tedious in dungeons along with that message about the compass, but I found it enjoyable. It had some really fun items like the Roc's feather. 9. Claw- Don't know if this counts. An obscure PC platformer with a cult following. It was amusing and challenging at the same time, but I don't think I could ever beat it without cheating. Not to mention the treasure finding. 8. Sonic 2/Sonic CD- Sorry, I couldn't decide which one. So I will describe them respectively. Sonic 2- A great platformer with beautiful graphics and "Blast Processing" enabled speed. There was a difficulty spike at the penultimate actual level, Metropolis, but Tails was always there as your meat shield. As for Sonic CD, there was no Tails, but it had time travel with discovery, which made for a very unique experience. Every single boss in this game was a Puzzle Boss. (Not sure about the first boss though). Awesome music though for both games, and for Sonic CD, both soundtracks. 7. Super Mario Bros. 3- New powerups? New enemies? New enemies? Better levels? You better believe it. I enjoyed this game all throughout, though World 6 and World 8, as mentioned above, were nuisances. The hammer suit was insanely fun. Even the level 6. Pok?mon Yellow- This was one of my first video games ever, through a fateful experience on a Singapore Airlines flight. At first, as I was around 3, I thought it was a maze, so all I did was go up and down the stairs. Eventually I found out you had to go out the door marked by a carpet! Then I actually gained fruit of fun. 5. Ocarina of Time- As people all over the game agree, this game was a masterpiece, from the epic moments, to the mundane. It was probably the zenith of games for its time and probably fits in with the modern era. Cool 3D graphics, heated combat, and advanced puzzling... Though it just wasn't special enough to be my first, this was spectacular as the Barrier Trio (cookie if you get the reference). 4. EarthBound- Seriously, this game is one of the wackiest things you'll ever find (only outclassed by its sequel). I guess the developers forgot the fourth wall in this game. Anyway, the enemies were either a horror, or a laughingstock. The PSI system was diverse and the animations were cool. The story was interesting and the party characters were admirable. The bosses required some fun strategy and the scrolling hp meter really made a difference. And this might sound weird, but the final boss was actually kind of funny. Genius. 3. Sonic 3 & Knuckles- In my opinion, this was superior to Sonic 2. More stunning graphics, more enemies, more creative bosses (though not as creative as CD), more characters, a better story, more emeralds... This could go on forever. This was a magnum opus for SEGA. There were better puzzled based levels that sufficed to retain your speed at the same time. Everything was perfect... 'Cept that barrel in Carnival Night Act 2. Debug mode glitching must have been the most fun thing in the game, however. One of my favorites for music. 2. Super Mario World- Ah, the sequel to Super Mario Bros. 3. It retains the bosses from its predecessor (except for Boom-Boom). The graphics were greatly improved to show stunning environments on a 16-bit processor and had memorable music. The Koopalings were more puzzled based this time, and the secret exit mechanic was introduced here, I believe. It introduced the ever popular Yoshi, who gave that useful second jump. Some staple enemies came here too. It even had not one, but two?bonus worlds. The final boss was fun too. 1. Pok?mon Gold- Yes, this is number one. Similar to Pok?mon Yellow, I also encountered this on the same flight (or was it the return...?) and had a blast after finally figuring out the mechanics of an RPG and Pok?mon games in Yellow. But this was far better, and I actually caught Pok?mon that themselves caught my eye. Here I learned the basics of RPG combat and strategy leading me to EarthBound, Final Fantasy, and well, more Pok?mon. I gave a warm welcome to Heartgold as it came. Note- Some of these I admire for their revolutionarity for its era, but all for their game play. Explaining everything was exhausting. 10. I would choose Pokemon. Being a trainer would be an interesting experience as well as battling outside of the plain "X used Y" format. By this I mean battles in the style of the anime, which seems to have no limits. But by this, I just mean anime battling, other than that, I would stick to the game. Why? Well you could pretty much do whatever you want, with a mediocre "law enforcement" in the fray, but don't get me wrong, I just mean that the law is shallow. Anyway, you can actually use your pokemon for mundane purposes too (i.e. Getting some water type to use Water Gun in a cup for drinking, although who knows where it's been). Not to mention controlling stuff with legendaries and having captured the god of pokemon. |

Either Metal Sonic or Knuckles. Metal sonic is plain cool to have and Knuckles was made to fight, at least in my view. For Metal sonic, he could have moves like his V Maximum Overdrive and the ring spark field. Don't know so much about any other moves though. If they somehow find a way for other attacks, his final smash could be something like Metal madness/overlord or Metal Sonic Kai (Knuckles Chaotix final boss for those who didn't know). As for Knuckles, he could have lots of punch attacks, I guess, as well as his glide. They could use the climbing ability, but I think it could be a bit cheap. And the final smash, I guess Super or Hyper Knuckles from S3&K? And please, no Shadow. He is already too overrated. |

I just know that Yveltal will be overrated just for its looks, and besides, I actually think Xerneas looks pretty cool. Mostly the multi-colored antlers, they just make it look cool. |

Spaceman95 : Do you ever use debug? Or maybe you just use the item placement of debug. But to find glitches you just go crazy and abuse your powers in debug. You're free to go anywhere in the level too. Making lots of items can also glitch the game up. Do you ever use debug? Or maybe you just use the item placement of debug. Pokémon Yellow was one of the very first video games I played, and since, I have played a game from every generation of Pokémon, and I will continue to do so once Pokémon X and Y come out. Of course, Super Mario 64 was another one of my firsts, (Ocarina of Time was my VERY first), but I liked Pokémon better. I do like the Mario series a lot though, but it just depends on which genre you like more, and RPGs are my favorite. |

I would choose Knuckles because he can glide, climb, and destroy anything that is in his path. His earthquake glide is cool too. However, I would also choose Eggman/Robotnik because he has his own robot army and loads of mechs. Of course, my favorite eggman robot would be the

OverLord117 :
I have finally found out how to load save states normally! In order to do this you must first know the level select code: Up down down left right B. The first step is to save your game. The next time you open up the game, you must use the level select code. Get used to how to go to different levels and what each number and letter means. It will start at 1-1-A, Palmtree panic 1 present. Each zone and time period is determined by the numbers and the letter. X-Y-Z. X is the zone. 1 is palmtree panic, but the game skips 2 for unknown reasons, so 3 is collision chaos, then it flows normally. Y is the act, but I don't think it matters. Z is the time period, and it can be A, B, C, or D. A is the present, B is the past, C is the good future, D is the bad future. Go to the exact zone, act (I doubt the act matters but still try to match it), and time period. Once there, load your savestate. Never try to load or create a savestate in a special stage. Assume you complete the level in Palmtree panic 1 past. You save before the end, then do the special stage, don't win the time stone, then go to the next level, Palmtree panic 2 present. If you want to attempt again to go to the special stage, do not do so yet because the current time period and the saved time period don't match. However, if you ended the previous stage in the present, you could go back to the savestate once you start the next level. But in the situation mentioned above, the time periods don't match, so wait until you reach the past of that level, then you can load the savestate and try the special stage again. The Moblins in OoT.They were really annoying and if you had camera troubles, the moblins would just keep ramming you until you got a game over. However I did like the fact that they were easy to kill with most weapons. Sometimes though, I go through a path that doesn't seem to have a moblin, until I hear them yell and a clank then surprise attacks me. I hate when that happens. Ocarina of Time. That was my very first video game I played and now that I am old enough to understand it better. It is a masterpiece, lots of depth, items, story, sidequests, and everything you could want in a good video game. To many game critics, this is the best game of all time and is epic too. The puzzles and boss battles are fun and strategic. The game also has very catchy music, that sometimes, however, gets to your head. It has survived the test of time. Some other favorites of mine, in no order are: Pokemon White Super Mario 64 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Pokemon Emerald Sonic 3 and Knuckles Knuckles Chaotix (underrated) Sonic 3D Blast (also underrated) Super Mario World Super Mario Bros. 3 Pokemon White Super Mario 64 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Pokemon Emerald Sonic 3 and Knuckles Knuckles Chaotix (underrated) Sonic 3D Blast (also underrated) Super Mario World Super Mario Bros. 3 |

But I did like the "Sonic Boom" attack of Hyper sonic. Sonic 3 and Knuckles is my favorite sonic game by far. |

I like the dynamic battle camera and the way the game is like Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Colosseum and XD. The 3D environment looks pretty cool too. As for the starters, I would probably choose the fire type one. From the looks of it Fennekin is Fire-Psychic so no reason to worry about a good-for-nothing Fire-Fighting type starter. |

From the Mario series, maybe some enemy, like a bro enemy with all abilities of the hammer, boomerang, and fire bro. Or maybe the chargin' chuck. From the LoZ series, Ghirahim or Demise. From Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles. From Pokemon, maybe Zoroark of Bisharp, and maybe also the return of Mewtwo. Of course, SSB4 may come out next year, after the new Pokemon X and Y games do, so maybe they will be represented in SSB4 as well. |

S3&K, no regrets, no doubt. This has the best story, most characters (3, 4 if you count sonic and tails), as well as most story characters (Robotnik, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Eggrobo, Mecha Sonic...), and fun and challenging levels. The music quality was amazing! |
