Well this looks promising.

Today is Wednesday, September 23rd, 1998. The time is 11:50 PM.
You struggle to remember where you are and what you're doing, but it comes to you rather quickly.

You're in a pub, located about fifty miles away from your home.
Normally at this time you would be at work, but after what happened today, you could care less.

Today was your last trip to court to settle your divorce.
Not only did you have to drive a few states over to your ex-wife's homestate, but you lost half of your crap as well. Not that there's much worth losing, in your opinion.

You're going to be staying in a hotel just a few feet from here, so you decide to get as drunk as you can, while you can.

It seems nothing's happening other than your headache growing.
What the hell kind of alcohol is this, anyway?
And on the subject of questions:

This is one which actually happened to me two days ago.

[Explanation]
I was trying to start up a few games on my PSX,
both to see if my PSX still worked and to play the games.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get any game other than Parasite Eve II to work.

At that point, I was fooling around to see if I could get the PSX to read better.
I knew it was some error with the laser because of the way it was positioned
when I played Parasite Eve compared to any other game (center vs end)
So, I tried holding the lid open a bit and then tried tapping the side.

I tried holding the lid open first, and that helped read slightly, but cutscenes
and audio still were badly desynched and freezing. Afterwards I tried tapping where
the loudest sound was coming from during the boot process, and lo and behold a glitch.

Apparently what I had been hitting must have been some sort of graphics unit.
I booted up the PSX, and when I finally got to what would normally be a "PS" logo,
I was instead greeted by a large yellow box stretching off the side of the screen.
The game didn't boot up after it was displayed, and it freaked me the heck out.

I haven't replicated it, nor would I like to try, as I don't want to damage my PSX.

Oh hey, this is relevant to why I'm staying up late.
So, no school tomorrow due to snow.

This is probably the sixth or so time we've cancelled in the last month.
I've been surprised by the amount of snow days, since my school had their own plowing system in previous years, and there were days we'd have to go in for school with 2 feet of snow.

My school's principals changed over the last 3 years though, so instead of following their own snow day rules (never cancelling, as they did before), they follow the public school's closing schedule (cancelling a lot.)

I'm extremely happy since this is my senior year.
Make up days are for underclassmen ;3

If they've changed at all, I haven't noticed.
We've had ads for as long as I can remember, and I still don't care about them that much.

All I noticed was way back when we used to get the same two ads back and forth.
Can't remember what they were though.

Probably the worst I played was Tetris 2.
No. Just no. Tetris should not be played that way.
We have Dr. Mario for that.

Though, I think many of us can agree that the worst games are the ones that are broken (literally, not figuratively.)

I'm going to try to start up a forum adventure on another forum, and was thinking bringing it here as well to try to get back on here.

Anyways, hey everyone.

So... I'm attempting to get started on my Halloween costume early this year, because whenever I don't, they tend to either end up horrible, or they aren't how I'd like them to be.

This year, I'm attempting to do a costume of Ruby from Pokemon.
...Yes, the one from the advance games with the annoying hat.



Well, for the most part, I have my blueprints down for the costume.
I don't really know how to sew, but I think I have enough time to figure it out.

The only problem I have, which I need help with, is the hat.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO HERE. (Because of the white part of the hat.)

Any suggestions and/or help would be appreciated.

(Also, it's for a party, and I've been gone for a while because life.)

Ever since the bar which tells you how many got baleeted, I can't tell anymore :/

I have enough to host a tournament and give each person an individual deck.
My uncle used to do advertising for movies and such and recieved a lot of boxes.
He shipped most of the stuff to my brother and I because he didn't want it.
Oh, also, I have like... 20 of each of the movie cards from 2000. |D
We've kept the cards, and I still attempt to play once in a while.

I think it's a bit outdated now, so I would like to know:

What would you recommend for a graphics card?
- Price Wise
- Performance Wise (In terms of running a game good and giving good graphics.)

What's the least number of pokemon you need to beat the game?
Is it possible to beat up to the Elite Four with only one pokemon?

Also, I don't mean "Would it be hard?" I mean, "Is it possible?"
I KNOW how hard it would be.

Originally, the first question was going to be "With only one pokemon," But I realized HM/TMs exist.
So... With one is impossible.
