To get RGR plugin mac support might end up costing just as much if not more then the original plugin. If the plugin ever gets mac support or is getting it you will most likely see a fundraiser for it. It would also require a mac developer in the first place which might be a bit harder to come by.

People mistreat others cause they can its as simple as that. Either your nice and people take advantage of you or you're mean and you take advantage of others. Most people lean on the taking advantage part because you get more out of it.
