Thanks so much for your help! Now, I tested the controller through the control panel, and the very root of the problem lies in that the R button doesn't map onto my controller for some reason.  It sounds like XPadder would be able to remedy this though, so I guess the only thing left to do is wait for that.  It'll make this zombie level of Conker tougher, but I'll give it my best shot

Only conker's bad fur day, but it does work on my brother's laptop.

Another thing though; is there another way I can modify my controls for game-pad play other than the menu? That would solve my reason for even needing the menu anyways.

Thanks for the help!  However, after trying the 1964 emulator, I found that it will not start the game whatsoever (once again, I tried all three of the browsers) at the bottom of the screen, it says "Loading emulator(Nintendo64)" and in chrome, a message pops up at the top saying the RGR plugin crashed.

Hi, I'm relatively new here, so sorry if this is a common question.  I have tried on all three of my browsers(firefox, IE, and chrome), and run windows 7, but cannot get the menu to show up on the N64 emulators.  I know that you need to double click the screen to open the menu, but it doesn't pop up at all.

Once again, sorry if it's a really dumb question, but I did try to find a solution.
