Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that's it.  You see, even if I had forgotten to save, it would have just been at the last time I saved (and I save A LOT, so it wouldn't have been very far back--this save point is near the beginning of the game and I was almost at the end). And the characters all have totally different names than the ones I gave them, and different weapons, everything.  It's obviously someone else's save point.  I just don't know how it would have gotten like that.  Thanks for the help.  It's okay, just confusing.  I beat the game when I was a kid, so it's not a big deal--mostly playing for nostalgia.  Just a perplexing situation.

Thank you so much.  That is very helpful.  It's not the end of the world if it turns out there's nothing they can do--it's just a game--but if it can be retrieved somehow that would be great.

I've been playing Chrono Trigger with the SNES emulator.  I'm not sure what has happened, but for some reason when I open the emulator and hit F4 to load my game, it loads someone else's game.  No one else uses this computer, so no one was playing on the emulator but me. I was almost done with the game, so this is a bummer.  I played yesterday and then closed the window.  Then, this morning, it loads a game that has different names for the characters and is very far behind where I was in the game.   I just started using this site, so I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done to retrieve MY game.  I tried refreshing both the Vizzed site and the emulator. I tried going into the game's save options to load from there, but it's the same.  I'm not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
