My favourite is the Japanese band, NEWS. I listened to their music four years ago and -bam-. Favourite band lol
I like Arashi too - they were my favourite (until NEWS) for a while. I also like Ayaka (you might know her song Why from FFVII Crisis Core...) and Sayuri Sugawara (a couple of her songs were in FFXIII)

I play the flute, violin, and piano... the most Asian instruments to pick from, and I'm Asian... lol :>
I still have my recorder from elementary school
I wish I could play so much more, though. Trumpet, sax, trombone...

I actually started reading manga the right way. Weird thing to me is that last year I was reading a volume of... something, I think it was Card Captor Sakura, and then in the middle of it I all of a sudden started reading it left to right... and then I was like WTF and realized what I was doing a few pages later...

I never really realized how many people dislike FFXIII. I like it, but FFVII is honestly far better than XIII. It's just... unquestionable.

I'm a fan of Cloud. I really am.
But I'm a fan of Zack too, and I have to go with Zack on this one, because loyalty to characters has nothing to do with this.

Looking at Cloud, yes, he is one tough chocobo. I mean he kicked Sephiroth's butt with all those different forms of his, beat him again in Advent Children, beat him back in Nibelheim when Zack needed his help that time, lived through incredible mako poisoning... twice, or something. Omega weapon, emerald weapon, ruby weapon...

Oh, but most of his battles were fought with two other people. Or an animal... or a stuffed toy on a robot. It's okay Cloud, you're still cool.

Then there was Zack. All his missions he fought alone, kicked Sephiroth's butt, kicked Genesis's butt, kicked Angeal's butt, kicked Wutai's butt, kicked MINERVA's butt (and when Minerva is a Goddess or something and Zack Fair beats her on his own with only so much materia), saved Cloud...

I mean what would things be like if Zack was still alive? Who would Cloud be then? Would the hero be Cloud, Zack, or both? Because if you think about it, Cloud only became a hero because Zack died. Who knows? Maybe if Zack still lived, Cloud might have ended up as the hero anyway.

I am a fan of all the Final Fantasy games, but honestly, my favourite is not just Final Fantasy VII. I would place VII, VIII, IX, and XIII all in the same spot because I am so indecisive like that.

VII was the first one I played, and it's a great game even though I DO think people overrate it. A lot. I never imagined Cloud to be some kind of depressive guy until they made him so in Advent Children - I still see him as a normal guy when I play the game, because screw what they make him out to be. Crisis Core was a beautiful piece of work as well (Zack! T_T).

VIII was the second game of the franchise that I played and I LOVED it. Of course I knew all that happened from watching my brothers play it (and VII... and IX...) but the graphics were amazing and the music (Gotta love that Nobuo Uematsu. Pure genius.) was perfect.

IX is one of the best, despite the fact that the miniature sizes of the characters might turn some people away, but I didn't care. I loved the characters (Steiner is such a fool =P) and the graphics and all that.

I have to admit, XIII kind of had a confusing storyline. The music was still great, though. Just because it's not Uematsu doesn't mean it's not good. Graphics were amazing, battle system was fun, plot was at least followable, fun to play... etc etc.

I admit, I can like just about anything - FFXIII is no different. Yes, the storyline was kind of confusing as hell here and there, but I still liked it. The battle system and the classes were different, yes, but as safe as we feel with something we remember and love all the way from the first game, there's really nothing wrong with trying something new. I think the classes/paradigms made for a little bit of strategic thinking...

I agree with the lack of character development, though. It wasn't the best, but at least there was still a little bit...

The graphics were amazing, and although Uematsu wasn't the composer, I liked the music as well... although I did miss the victory theme after battles.
