The only way I would actually spend that much on buying the switch is if one of two things happened
1. The main Pokemon game gets released on it, and not just a spin-off
2. It starts getting a lot of good RPGs
Even still, I would probably buy a 3DS before I would a switch because it's cheaper and has two Pokemon games on it already. plus it has a lot of other good games on it as well, and overall, I think that the games are just better.

I'll be honest I only have one mod installed on Skyrim, and it's a mod that switches the normal dragon fighting music with the first theam song to AOT and it is GLORIOUS

Ohh boy... Those are both really interesting storeys

Honestly, I wonder if my girlfriend is from the same town as the mayor in the second story because she keeps joking that she's going to marry a frog instead of me

As for the first story, I hope that man is not able to have kids after that. No one who does not know proper gun safety should have kids
Oh and the cocaine thing is also pretty bad.

I must admit I love any kind of east coast folk music. I grew up around it, and because of it, I want to learn how to play the fiddle because fiddles are cool now I guess,
really, I like any kind of Canadian folk music. Stomping Tom was one of my idols growing up, and I loved all of his songs, especially the hockey song, as much as I don't really like hockey

I also am a big fan of queercore. I would give an example of a queercore band that I like, but I'll be honest I can't think of any of them that don't have to swear words in the title. The best that I can think of is Lesbians on extasy.
Queercore is not something that I would recommend for small kids for obvious reasons

Pagan hymns are another favourite of mine. They are so soothing, and I find they help me ground myself when I am haveing a panic attack, and what better to listen to while meditating. It's all really great stuff

I know I probably should have just picked one, but I really like all of them equally and I just could not decide on just one of them!

When it is for a test or something I find that the best way I remember it is to make flashcards, Then get a big thing of paper and start writing the things over and over again. when I am confident with what I have, I then use the flashcards, then go back and rewrite whatever it was that I got wrong until I start getting everything right. and then I take a well-deserved nap!

if its just a thing I have to do later or whatever I put a sticky note on my laptop and a reminder on my phone. pretty simple but it works at least 80% of the time for me!

Heck yeah! not only did I watch a lot of them with my dad growing up! He watched a lot of them too as a kid, so that's probably why!
I also find that anything wartime when it comes to animation is neat, especially if it mentions the wars as I am a total nerd when it comes to that kind of stuff!

As for anything later it really depends on what it is. I really like road runner and the like, and often times find myself looking back on those cartoons as inspiration for some of the art that I do!
as well, Ever since my art teacher pointed out how good watching the road runner cartoons can helo with learning to draw perspective I have found it useful for when I don't know how to do something. I watch ten or fifteen minutes of it, have a good laugh, and then go back to see if they had examples of the technique I was trying to use

I really like that old game show for kids that used to air on YTV that had 3 teams competing against each other in cookoffs. I really wish that I remembered the name of it because that show was really the bomb and I would love to go back and watch them all again. They were my childhood! I used to end up in the ER a lot as a small kid, and they always had the show playing from a dvd in the waiting room on what was probably one of the very first flat panel, 720p TVs

Oh Boy, that really does sound great *Sarcasm*
I had something similar happen to me actualy. I had a teacher who always refused to tell me my mark, and would not update it on the online mark system because she said that seeing my mark would make me worry
I have anxiety
Severe anxiety to the point where I missed school because I could not talk to anyone.
So when I was told that my mark might worry me
It worried me more because I had no clue what I had to do to get it up to passing, if I was passing, or even if I had a hope of passing.
the worst part? the way that my school structures its classes, We can really only fair one course in our whole 4 years before we would have to take a full extra year to have enough credits to graduate, and the course I didn't know I was passing was a full year course, meaning it counted as 2 courses, bur if you failed it last semester you had to take the whole year again.
I know how you feel.

I did have a little trouble understanding this at some points, But my score does not surprise me all that much. I'm a very socially liberal person, but unlike some liberals, I have a basic understanding of how money works. So, there's that.

I think that the most trouble I have gotten into was when I came out to my mum

I did it by going to the mall with my friend, his sister, his sister's girlfriend and his mum, buying a shirt that says "Nobody knows I'm a lesbian" putting it on with a sweater over top. when I got home I went and got all the things that I needed for at least a couple of days as well as any ID that I had in case I was out for longer than I thought that I would be and headed towards the door. Right before I left the house I unzipped my sweater and showed my mum the t-shirt before running out the house screaming just about every profanity I knew as I jumped into my friend's car. As we drove off the whole car was filled with laughter. They were all in on it and found the fact that I had sworn as much as I did while running out hysterically.

Everything was great until we got to my friend's house and got a call from my dad. It was not a happy call. Needless to say, I spent a week at my friend's house and when I finally was allowed back home I was forced to go to church every night, and at one point had a "Gay Exorcism" performed on me.
I wish I could make up stories this good, no, this all really happened.
And no, the Gay Exorcism did not work as I am still a FLAMING homosexual.

If all the woman was doing was consoling her sister, then mothers should get kicked off the flight for consoling her crying baby.

It's just stupid. you can't do that. I really can not believe that the two sisters were kicked off the plane over this.

considering the fact that other passengers were upset over the two girls getting kicked off I'm sure that they understood the situation at hand and that they were willing to put up with the girls. I know if I was on that plane I would have united airlines the flight attendant right in the face for kicking the other woman off. Would it accomplish anything? no. would it get me kicked off the plane and arrested? Yes. But it would be the best reaction and Someone is bound to film it so I would become internet famous.

I really could not give a care in the world what someone thinks of me, But my anxiety says otherwise. I am TERRIFIED of not being accepted, and I find that I often times will choose to avoid social interaction instead of making a fool of myself because my anxiety keeps telling me that I can not for the life of me interact with other people normally and that the other person will think I am a terrible person over one small mistake

Realistically, I know that this is not the case, so I try to force myself to socialise as much as I can, but my anxiety is still there and it still holds me back. I know there's not likely a time it will ever not hold me back. Even if I had access to the medication I need to treat my anxiety I still would have a heck tonne of problems with it. That's just the nature of mental illness for you.

I'm about as social as I can be with my anxiety because I LOVE attention. Even though I can't always be as talkative as I like around people that I don't know, and I know that I sometimes say the wrong thing and don't know it, I try my best. I figure I have a better chance of being understood and respected if I try to prove I'm not like a ghost that no one talks to or something like that. Even with that in mind though, I can't be social in real life for very long before I start to get burnt out, or my anxiety builds up too much. For some reason or another, This does not affect me when I am online as much. Sure I do worry about being judged a lot still, but at least I understand that I can just block the person and never see them again on the internet really.

My number one priority right now is to get through what I have left of high school.

My goal in life, however, is to fight in the UFC. I know that one of those is more realistic than the other, but I really am working hard towards both, and determined as hell. I don't think that I would be very disappointed if I never get to fight in the UFC, but It is my goal, and I know that haveing a goal set so high like that will push me to get as far as I can with it. Even if my fighting was semi-pro, or I took a different route and continued on TKD tournaments, working my way up the ladder that way I would be happy. What I'm really trying to say is that I want to be recognised as a fighter, because that's what I am, and its what I do.

Ohhh I actually just went to go and see the new captain underpants movie with my dad a few days ago! It was really good, I lost it when Harold ripped the flip o rama because when I was just a little girl I read the books over and over again, and I would always end up ripping those darn things eventually no matter how gentle I was! Man, I really need to catch up on the series now, and I really do hope that another captain underpants movie gets made! It really seemed set up for another one right at the end of it!

I think that marriage is a great thing! No one can get through life all by themselves and be happy, it's just not possible. It's always a magical thing when you find someone that you click with so well that you just want to be with them always! sure, this does not happen to everyone, but to the people who do find this true love you really don't want to be apart from them, and marriage is like a promise that is really hard (and expensive) to break, that you can make with someone to say that you will be with them every step of the way. It's magical really!

Plus, it does have some practical reasons too, like tax benefits, and if you marry someone from another country you can help them become a citizen much easier (Sometimes.... I can rant about that for hours but I won't)

I Hope that I'll be able to get married some day, although with the way things are going right now in the world of politics I may end up losing that right unfortunately.....

To give a bit of a different perspective to this, I am the most liberal person you will ever meet (Without being crazy) I'm pagan, queer, female, pro-choice, and all that jazz

But when Atheists start to bash Christians with their "Atheists are smarter studies" It right pisses me off for two reasons

1. It's rude and not called for
2. it's trying to push their religious beliefs on to someone else

Now, I really don't like it when anyone, Christians and Pagans included, start pushing their religion onto anyone, because its a person's choice on what they worship, if they are influenced by a parent or a community to believe a certain thing it can really damage a person because it makes them feel broken if they don't actually believe in something or when something they can't change about themselves (Like homosexuality) goes against . I know when I first started studying the craft I felt huge amounts of guilt because I was raised as a Christian, and to believe that homosexuality was wrong. it made me feel broken

Atheists making these studies, and talking about how great they think they are is just the same as what most Christian parents do to their kids. and its just not right.

I made a post about this in a different thread but will make a shorter one in this in case the other was not seen

I think that in the hands of right people they do. I personally found them rather helpful due to the fact that I have anxiety and another disorder I don't talk about. The only reason I found them helpful was not because of the hand movement and fidgeting, but because of the weight of them. I like stim toys with weight to them because they help keep me "Grounded" and are rather soothing to my anxiety, When I am in a stressful environment like a classroom they help me to function like a normal student because the weight makes me feel safe

fidget spinners are unfortunately lost to the people who they once helped because they became a trend, and kids who don't need them started to get them. I have had some kids take mine for no reason other than they wanted to play with it, and caused both me and them to get no work done because a kid that does not need it will not use it right.

For kids that like to fidget with their hands, the cubes are much better and less popular, so they won't distract the kids around them

for people like me who need the weight, there are things like weighted blankets for at home, and stuffed animals that are weighted for when you need something smaller and more discreet to stim with.

for neurotypical kids, they don't need stim toys at all. they just ruin it for the people that need them like me.

No, To keep it short and simple, I don't.

But I really wish it was a possibility. As a Pagan, I follow one rule "And it harm none do what you will" and without there being world peace there is almost no way for me to do follow this the way that I am supposed to. But instead, I do have to cause harm in fighting for my rights, which would be no issue if there was world peace. I mean, if there was world peace I wouldn't have to worry about whether or not I will be able to marry my girlfriend someday without fear of losing a job or being attacked for who I love

I know that It's not possible, because of the way that humans work. No matter what, there will always be bad people. and as long as there are bad people there can't be world peace.

There's always going be bad people because, like Barathemos said, humans are made with issues and have flaws. I don't agree with him on his stance on religion, but he is right on why it would be almost impossible. that is not debatable.
