legacyme3 : Don't spell it for these clowns. It's funnier only some people get the joke. I was looking up puns to counter and i went through about ten of them. I hoped at least one would make me laugh but no pun in ten did. I was looking up puns to counter and i went through about ten of them. thenumberone : The funny thing about Reagan was that he brought the country together under the banner of a flag. Left and right still disagreed and found reasons to dislike each other but culturally, the U.S. was slightly less divided in the 80s compared to now. Movies like Rocky IV and Top Gun were making Americans proud to be American. I can't think of a time in all the years I've lived here that people were more separated and there was a wider schism between political parties than Obama. And if you're taking Michael Moore at his word, I hope you're looking at things from all angles. He did a story about Sarnia, Ontario, where people leave their doors unlocked, and then went to Detroit to show how bad it is. He sure didn't go see what was up in Windsor, Ontario, and he didn't pick anywhere else in Michigan, where most people are comfortable with their neighbors. He also sure loves the capitalist money he gets. As for Obama? He hangs out a while, writes a book, gets a bunch of public speaking gigs, and gets paid. What else would he do? I think he's done with being a front-runner for politics. And if you're taking Michael Moore at his word, I hope you're looking at things from all angles. "Fighting" games? I don't they're sports games at all. I consider games built around boxing or martials more sports games but to me fighting games are just button-mashers that aren't real sports games. Tekken? Nope, not a sports game. Mortal Kombat? Absolutely not. Mike Tyson's Punch Out? Okay, we have some debate here. Street Fighter 2? Negative. Tekken? Nope, not a sports game. Mortal Kombat? Absolutely not. Mike Tyson's Punch Out? I'm there with Darth Yoda. I thought most stormtroopers were humans who enlisted or were conscr But, hey, what do we know? I would think the folks who wrote the movie would do enough research to ensure the fanboys would all be satisfied with the lore and the stories and such. I'd even go so far as to google storm troopers and see what the history looks like but I'm sure someone will cover that and take care of business for us. They'll answer the question. I'd go with Rikku from Final Fantasy X. That chick was in great shape and you could tell she did her sit-ups. She had a nice personality, laughed and took nothing too seriously. She could work with machinery and I'm sure there's room in her head for automotive repair. She also had really nice long hair. Yes please. Yes please. -------------------- |

When i do some sports gambling and some games with friends, I get up to five or six texts a day. Otherwise, I average a text or two every other day. What does your volume look like? What's the highest number of texts you've gotten in a day? What does your volume look like? What's the highest number of texts you've gotten in a day? -------------------- |

Yes, parents are responsible for teaching their children everything. The ultimate responsibility of a child's upbringing is his or her parent. Those are the people that *should* spend the most time with you. Teachers worry about 30 kids every hour, they can't focus on one kid for the betterment of society. The internet is a terrible place to try to learn anything except home repairs on Youtube. Everything else, especially about sexuality and male/female relations, is completely backwards, offensive, and not how the real world should work. I see Yahoo Answers and I read the marriage/divorce section. Everyone who posts there posts because they had a terrible experience and they come to hate on the other gender. That's not how healthy, nurturing relationships work. Don't trust the internet about anything when it comes to socialization. End of story. Schools also can teach the physiology but they shouldn't teach the decision-making methods. The internet is a terrible place to try to learn anything except home repairs on Youtube. They can take their drink. The years I lived in Hawaii, I never got more drunk or more hung over in my life than when Aussies and Kiwis were visiting from down under. I saw a guy get a 16oz glass of J.W. Red Label and drink it in one go. My god, those guys will kill you. Unless you're currently downing a fifth of whiskey or bourbon a week, every week, you won't stand a chance. Take it from a hard-drinking Marine to know when we're beaten by another country. Also, don't watch the movie Wolf Creek or the half-dozen other Australian horror movies. It's a huge continent with only a little bit in Sydney and a lot less around the country. Enjoy and watch out for the girls (sheilas). They all would love to get married to an American and live stateside. They are seriously on the hunt. I learned that people are so intensely focused on trying to make sure no one is ever offended by anything they say, they can't actually handle criticism or thoughts and ideas counter to their belief systems. It's amazing to read the posts where people are coming out, basically negating anything they're saying because they're trying to be soft and super-appropriate. Sometimes you gotta disagree, folks. And there's nothing wrong with it. This is a great place to learn conflict management because no one is coming to your house and you aren't losing school friends. Don't fight but argue and exchange ideas. I also learned people are so anxious to fit in they always give the Mods permission to move their threads. This dovetails with point number 1. If a Mod moves your item, they'll move it. You telling them okay is maybe a way of taking criticism for picking the wrong area to post and now it's not so bad that they said, "You're wrong, Mr/Ms Poster." I posted in a wrong board a few times. Those threads got moved. I said, "Oh well," and kept things moving. Lastly, I learned there are a lot of great ideas and wonderful viewpoints from people and places I'd otherwise never get to meet or talk to. Some of the folks I chat with, and they know who they are, are open minded even if we're on opposite ends of the spectrum in our -isms. It makes for great sport to debate skillfully and it's eye-opening to see what life is like on the other end of another laptop. You guys: play4fun : Singelli : thephantombrain : thenumberone : legacyme3 : You guys are the ones that keep me engaged. I'd be out the door in a heartbeat of you all left. Instead of complaining and whining about things, why not ask someone, your parents or teachers, for help. Why not solve the problem instead of finding an alternate release for uncontrollable energy? If you spam enough, even on here, you will get ignored. You're looking for attention and that's fine because you're not getting it elsewhere. Can you or do you know how to channel that energy into creating posts that are worthwhile and creative? If you do that, you can post 20 times a day and people will respond and you'll have all these conversations available and all this interaction with words and thoughts and other people. That's the way to go about it. Just posting things to just post them won't work. You'll drive the established community away and you'll become a pariah. You'll be banned for a day or a week and then forever and you'll leave and be angry and upset and not sure what happened. You know why it doesn't work at school. You say random things and blast through life. Find the help to get things under control. Find the pride to take the reins and you'll be surprised and impressed at what you can really accomplish. I would immediately review punishment for various crimes. A player shouldn't be suspended for a longer period for possession of marijuana than if they abused their wife. A player shouldn't have a shorter league sentence for killing someone in negligent homicide vs. simple firearm possession. Go over that stuff, Roger, and get it fair. I would move the Buffalo Bills to Toronto and the Jacksonville Jaguars to L.A. I know L.A. is not an NFL town but they may be able to build something around the developing Jags, especially if they sign Ray Rice. I would get rid of any excessive celebration penalties. Football is already ridiculous and over the top with the showmanship. It should rival wrestling for being a spectacle. Let the players be as crazy as they want and one up each other. When Chad OchoCinco was doing all his celebrations, it was plain old fun and people talked about it. Now flags are thrown unless you Barry Sanders the ball to the ref. Entertain us. I would shorten the duration of commercials between touchdown to first play of following drive. I would decrease total commercials and make up the revenue difference by charging more for a commercial. Those companies will still pay and a game will be much more entertaining and draw more fans if it didn't last longer than a Michael Bay movie. Go over that stuff, Roger, and get it fair. To answer your questions: 1. I think you can't go back and continue adding punishment to someone is a case that has been clearly defined and executed. As heinous as the crime was, at some point he has to be brought back in the league. Look at Mike Vick, for example, who was out for how long? And he didn't abuse a woman. Some people hate animal cruelty more than human cruelty but no one should be tagging on suspensions because they feel like it or they're pressured by the public. Goodell made the decision and I think the second penalty was just as bad as anything, since it is, as you point out, double jeopardy. Should Rice be reinstated? Yes. I don't like him but he has had his day in court and he's paid the price set to him by management. He's done. Grab the shoulder pads, Ray. 2. You have two questions in here. I think Goodell needs to know that video will never stay hidden. If he saw the video and decided to keep it under wraps, he should be fired/retire immediately. He chose to try to bury evidence to the public and that's not good business management. He should have suspended Rice longer or checked the rules and made sure they fully applied to the case. Goodell could have built credibility with his response had he made the right one and was completely clean with everything. If he hadn't seen the video, he made a good choice based on uncertainty. 3. Yes, Rice will play this season. He'll be buried in a crap team that needs help. The NY Jets are struggling with Ivory and Johnson and the Jacksonville Jaguars are getting way more out of Denard than I thought they would. Having a change of pace back with Rice and Robinson would make them much better and give Bortles a chance to win some games. Bortles is good and he needs the help. 1. I think of the free flash game called Fishy where you try to eat smaller fish and avoid bigger fish. It's fun and good to kill some time. http://www.xgenstudios.com/game.php?keyword=fishy http://www.xgenstudios.com/game.php?keyword=fishy -------------------- |

If I were to be any character from the Star Wars Universe, I'd pick a dark jedi with hate in his heart. I was a padawan but I didn't have sufficient force to really develop the skills to be a Sith lord. So, they canned me but they didn't kill me because they knew I would spread enough problems and disorder. I was still useful to them to attain their goals of disrupting peace in the galaxy. Now, I'm a bounty hunter with a weak but serviceable use of the Force. I hunt political and military targets and infiltrate corporations for the highest bidder. I work at industrial espionage and I'm particularly fond of bombs and explosives. I make enough to have a lavish residence on Coruscant, in the red light district to satisfy my hedonistic needs. I have a very young daughter and I'm wondering when I should talk about safe sex and relationships with her, or at least have her mom talk to her. What's a good age for kids? I think adults have to address it sooner nowadays with the ease of finding sexuality and all on the internet. What's appropriate? What's a good age for kids? Here's the cool thing about the world. You can define yourself anyway you want. If you want to consider yourself a furry and you don't have any actual involvement with the program, whether it's latent homosexuality, attraction to animals or people dressed as animals, etc, you get to still call yourself a furry. You define yourself. You can be anything you want and no one can tell you you're not. Unless you're telling people you're a professional athlete or in the armed services. That's different. Are you a furry? Sure, why not? You can be a low-level that doesn't take it as intensely as everyone else and that's fine. You define yourself. I'm in sales at a gym and my appearance is one of many high demands out of my job. We don't get the opportunity to grow out facial hair if we have it and I frankly don't care about No-Shave November anyway. It's for what? Testicular caner? I feel like break cancer awareness, where every one, including athletes and all that, wear pink. Everyone knows about it. It's the individual's responsibility to take care of their own health and well being and me growing out a beard isn't going to really change much of anything. I think if you're looking for a pure definition, trimming isn't shaving. You can trim up. This isn't the NHL hockey play off beards we're talking here. Look professional, look attractive, keep things tidy. It's for what? Testicular caner? I feel like break cancer awareness, where every one, including athletes and all that, wear pink. Endings has it right. If girl 1 is saying, "Wow, look at that girl over there," that means she's not interested in a romantic relationship with you. That's the end of the story right there. It's an obvious move and that girl is distracting you so you can really forget about her. Girl #2? I might consider dating a girl with a kid but I'm 33 and a grown man. You're half my age (rounded down) and you have absolutely no business thinking about taking on any responsibility for a child. You should be able to have fun, go out and do stuff and not be tied down to a girl because you feel like you owe her because she has a kid. That sucks that she has a kid. But let's be honest. Think about her decision making process and her reality in that she was (a) having sex at 12 and (b) not using condoms or any other contraceptive devices. Someone makes decisions like that and I'd be running the other way. From way over here, there's no big problem. Girl one isn't interested and you should stay away from Girl 2. Do what you like, though. Good luck. I hope things work out. Girl #2? I might consider dating a girl with a kid but I'm 33 and a grown man.
