If it is the RGR plugin, and not the game itself, you could always try playing it in offline mode and see if that helps.

BNuge :
Yes some games do work. Try Super Mario 64 or Yoshi's Story. Both of those give this error.
Right-click appears to be disabled by this error screen, anyway.

There are MANY other users asking the same thing he is.
What he is referring to is an error message that appears on screen.
When the game starts, sound is heard, but no picture is displayed.
Instead, a gray screen is show that says:

Glide64

Gfx cannot be drawn in windowed mode

Press Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen

This is what he is referring to by "fullscreen mode."
He's looking for a way to fix the issue, not to actually make the game fullscreen.
I'm currently plagued by the same issue, as well as the majority of the other n64 players.

Do you have an updated version of java?
If so, did you try uninstalling and reinstalling java?
If so, are you running on Linux, by any chance?
If you are, this MIGHT be of use, but that's all I can do for you without the rest of the error message:

Problem(Abstract)
On some Linux® machines, when you run the WebSphere® Transformation Extender Launcher Administration, Management Console, and Resource Registry tools, they might fail to start with the the following Java® exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Width (0) and height (0) cannot be <= 0.

Symptom
The Java stack trace for the error might contain the following exception details:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Width (0) and height (0) cannot be <= 0
at java.awt.image.DirectColorModel.createCompatibleWritableRaster(DirectColorModel.java:1031)
at sun.awt.X11.XFramePeer.setIconImage(XFramePeer.java:245)

at com.ibm.websphere.dtx.launcher.gui.EventServerAdmin.main(Unknown Source)

Cause
The Sun AWT (Abstract Window Toolkit) class

Resolving the problem
Sun® Microsystems, Inc. has re-implemented Sun AWT as documented in the "XToolkit on Solaris/Linux" tech note that is located on the following Web page:
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/awt/1.5/xawt.html

The tech note starts with the following announcement about the new
XToolkit implementation:
“Starting with release J2SETM 5.0, AWT has been re-implemented on the Solaris and Linux platforms." It explains the advantages of implementing
the new Toolkit, and continues with the following statement about the
default Toolkit version on Linux in J2SE 5.0:
“The new Toolkit (XToolkit) is the default on Linux in J2SE 5.0.”

To resolve the java.lang.IllegalArgumentException exception on Linux, set
the following environment variable before you run the WebSphere Transformation
Extender Management Tools:

export AWT_TOOLKIT=MToolkit

When you run the WebSphere Transformation Extender Launcher Administration, Management Console, and Resource Registry tools, they
should now start successfully and not throw the Java exception.

Well, on the n64 controller there was a slot in the back for several different accessories. One was a game pack for gameboy games so you could connect and trade pokemon between pokemon stadium and pokemon red/blue/yellow. Unfortunately this was required for most anything involving pofessor oak's lab in pokemon stadium, and unfortunately the game pack isn't implemented into pretty much any ROM/emulator, and most likely will not be. It seems to be impossible if you ask me. If not, close to it. Sorry. I'd love to have it too, though.

An issue has arisen while playing Nintendo 64 games.
As the game loads, sound is heard, but the picture does not appear. Instead I am greeted with a screen that says:

Glide64

Gfx cannot be drawn in windowed mode

Press Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen

Important notes:

-Actually switching to fullscreen mode did not solve the matter
-This only happens with a few select games I own. (namely WWF No Mercy, Super Mario 64, and Yoshi's Story, as far as I know.)
-All of the games listed above were working properly as of October 28, 2010.
-No major changes were made to my PC between then and now.
-I have try uninstalling and re-installing the RGR Plugin, but to no avail.
-This issue occurs in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome.

A quick and helpful response would be much appreciated. Thank you.

An update to this problem: It seems that there are several users, seemingly all users, that are having this very same issue. Are the people in charge aware of this issue already...?

If I recall, save states are not supported for the n64 on the Vizzed RGR.
You can, however, save in-game, the way you would normally on the actual n64 system (by going into the menu and hitting "Save").
By that method, yes, you can save and return to your game later.

Try using the keys that you have assigned to the d-pad, rather than the keys assigned to the analog stick. That's just the game. Even on the actual n64 system, you could not use the analog stick for pokemon stadium games, only the d-pad.

As for the Nintendo 64 "alt+enter" issue, I am in the same situation.
I assume this is an issue of the emulator used and/or ROMs of the games. (though I removed and re-downloaded the ROM files and saw no change) That being said, it's nothing you and I, as users, can fix. We just have to wait and hope someone gets around to it. :/

That's not exactly what I meant by "screenshot didn't work". I do know how to take a screenshot, but the screenshot I took turned out to look normal. It didn't show the defect I am experiencing at all.
Anyway, this issue occurs with ALL genesis games I try to play, most of which I have already started "selling". Also, I do have the latest plugins as well.

Hm. No search function? That makes things a bit difficult, but at least it answers my question. Thanks. I sure hope it does get added.
Anyway, to answer your question, I was looking for a topic that may have already been posted and solved regarding the issue I posted on the Retro Game Room board, but alas.

Title. My computer screen wigs out on me whenever I try to play a genesis game. I tried to take a screenshot, but for some reason it all looks normal in the screenshot. Basically what happens is the color scheme changes, sort of a more violet/green/black look, and the screen sort of contracts to the left side, making it so that the right half of my screen is black and what would be the entirety of my screen is all pushed off to the left half. It's difficult to explain and I wish the screenshot worked, but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about. If this issue has been raised before, I'm sorry, but it's kind of hard to seek out similar issues on this board.
