I just watched my brother go through this entire game in 10 hours. I have just about beatin the NES version of this game and dear god. This game is so much easier than the original it's unbelievable. But they also through those weird shrines in there that give you weird new items and you have to fight bosses from the other Final Fantasys. Quite interesting. But seriously you have MP and stuff. You used to have save all your spells til you got to the boss, now you can use the spells like 100s of times before you go back to the INN. Plus the money situation is phenominal. You start with your equipment, the spells and items cost a huge margin less. . . oi. The graphics are quite nice though Im starting my game on Final Fantasy II now, its also much easier than the original (as I have played that as well on NES) but not by too much. I just got Minwu and I'm going for the Mythril in Salamand, then to the cave or whatever. I think im about done talking now.

Erm, yeah, i download about 5 - 8 episodes a day I have about 200 gigs of anime now. But I don't have dreams about them. I don't think it's too much . . . I could be wrong though

To access the battle algorithems you have to goto the battler scripts or something like that at the higher portion of the list. You mean like where damage is calculated right? An easy way to find it is to do a search for "damage". (FYI if you don't know how to search for text you have to right click on the list of scripts on the left and click "search") I hope this helps.

If you mean to physically mean making a new script you have to right click on the left column (where all the names of the scripts are) and click on 'new', if you mean you want a tutorial on the actual language itself that could take a bit of time, but im willing to do it i suppose.

when you say digimon, do you mean the first game for PS1 where it follows you around? and you have to train it and stuff? Except with your own monsters or Tomagachi or something? Is there any way you can switch to Rpg Maker XP, cause it's a lot easier to code this stuff. I will help you with the events if you'd really prefer to do it in RM2k. . . Do you have all of the images you need, and the charasets, chipsets, etc?

there is indeed a way to do both. But not easily at the same time. Which do you want to do more? both require many common events and events. Not to bad of a process tho. I will help you as you go.

There is no legitamit reason to say RMXP is bad, it has all of the features that any other RPG maker has you just have to code some of them. Which really isn't that hard. You just have to learn.

Indeed, that is true. I have also played a couple tactical RPGs made wit game maker that sport some dam cool features, but becuase I already know RUBY and RGSS I stick wit RPG Maker XP.
