legacyme3 : you probably don't want to hear it, but I suppose those people there where you live, already somewhat dislike you, because you don't want to talk to them (because that is what they think). So proving them wrong is easy.
Yet, is there someone you want to talk to? is another thing.

But to hell with it, there will always be this one person who dislikes you.
Even if you don't do anything, people will talk. People always do, we are born this way haha

You are just paranoid. And we are NOT born to be liked by everyone.

... what it would look like for you?

Yes, I don't believe in perfection and as I've found out, most of the people (here and general) don't either, BUT basically, think about it this way - if you're biggest wishes, dreams came true - what would be?

How often do you volunteer for something? or have you ever?
what was the last thing? what was the thing you liked most?
it is anything basically - from helping out in shelters to selling tickets for a concert.

Of course it is OK, if you think it is OK. Doesn't matter what other people say.

stare at anything. walk.

too much time in front of the computer can make everything seem like "you are not feeling it". seriously, go out. you don't have to have social life to go outside or you don't need to "participate" in it, sometimes being on your own is just what you need. but outside of the house.

or I'd say read, write, dance around and do music ?

Rock'n'roll comes first than any other genre! and the great times of rock'n'roll are over, now all the rock artists sound the same and it's mostly pop-rock, yuk.
I like country too, e.g. Bob Dylan was a genius.

geeogree : like I said - never say never.
It can work out good (staying together) or it can not.
Not all marriages last, try as you might.
If a person really wants to go, they will, married or not..

But I do actually believe there is this one soulmate for everyone.
Just, it doesn't mean so much to me personally, this marriage thing.

There has been several people and places that have changed me somehow, in certain matters, like a process, all different pieces finally fit and make a change.
But drastically. It was more of an event, perhaps. Or a choice? An accident?
Just who I was back then, I guess.
Drastically as in the way of my whole so-called world tunring over - I was 15 and had an overdose of several substances at once and after that, I quit. And with that, all of my so-called friends disappeared. So, for months, I had literally no friends, because
the old ones didn't want me anymore and other people I had pushed away with being who I was.
Guess that changed me a lot.
I read more stuff back then than ever in my life, I developed a totally new understanding to who and why I am - I realised I had no clue hahaha. And that was the best thing ever...coz I wanted to find out.

Open-mindedness is a good thing, yet not all teenagers have parents or a home to live in.
A kid living on the streets will whistle out any talk on that matter. Or most of them seem to. Not saying that's what they actually think.
I have no solution.
I don't think there is one.
Human behaviour can't be controlled.

ncstatefanrs : it wasn't an argument, I wasn't trying to convince you - it was merely my opinion.
Refresh my memory - did it say in the movie that mcdonalds is the cause of obesity in America? or that it is just one part of it? because it is one part, definitely.

the movie, like you said, was an experiment.
it gives us an idea to compare with reality. it is not reality itself.
an experiment.
I hope I offered more to my opinion now.
but it's interesting though, because junk food for some is already a subculture.

Writing about things helps, sometimes. Definitely singing, and playing guitar.
Well, certain beverages to "lift the spirits", but they won't actually help, only for a while...
Walking and thinking, just like that, alone.

I am not scared of them, but not actually fond of them either. I remember when I was little and broke my collarbone, they gave one shot for the pain, but the shot itself was AAAAAAARGH.

it wasn't exaggerated, it just showed what would or could happen to a person if they ate junk food every day, mcdonald's that is.

I personally don't mind junk food from time to time, but I don't like mcdonalds etc, and to eat it every day...yuk really.

I've had my share and I suppose I have more coming. That has always been a question for me..so many people around me seem to know what to do (of course it doesn't mean they do..) and I don't, I can't make a choice as to who am I going to be, or what would be a rational thing to do or is rational always right etc etc etc
