An unfortunate competition seeing how this only for PC users, guess I don't have to wait to much longer before apple buys them out over the next 10 years and I will no longer have this problem. -------------------- |

I put overrated for sure, however it has lost so much popularity after the indigo show season and even more of a drop after johto, no one in my age range like it after that and it really holds no true popularity like Magic the Gathering or other classic cartoons or classic video games like mario brothers does. The original pokemon yellow and Crystal from GBC will always be a great memory sitting in the living room starting a new game with friends but it really is a thing of the past. I play them 1 hour a week at the most for nostalgic purposes but other than that pokemon has no real feature unless Nintendo tries to remake the original GBC for the Wii with new features, would be possible if they actually had a decent design team like Chris Metzen as a lead. -------------------- |

Mew for sure, it is the absolute original legendary pokemon and in my opinion the most powerful. You could obtain it through yellow pretty easily and it is just the original pokemon next to pikachu. -------------------- |

Pokemon truly died after Johto in popularity and then completed died off for nostalgic people after emerald because it just became weird anime crap. The original 151 are the best obviously but i love it through 251 and even some into emerald. Nintendo really lost it after Crystal though, they kept making it because they still made some money off the newer generations however its nothing compared to their remakes of classic games on Wii and you will never see another pokemon game unless they do like a remake of yellow for Wii with added features which would be awesome. My team will always be moltres, zapdos, articuno, dragonite, pikachu, and a swap between blastoise/charizard/venasaur. -------------------- |

Thunder by far. It is a very original move unlike all these weird stuff you guys are posting and I think it is the most powerful move in the game with a fully leveled pikachu by my side. -------------------- |

Umbreon because it is the only orignal pokemon and I think anything after Emerald is bad. Although I think double battles is bad as well which started with Emerald etc. -------------------- |

Team Rocket all the way, love the original episodes through the end of johto, never finished the hoen region episodes but I think team rocket was the best there as well. Also loved the mix of pokemon they have. Arbok, Weezing, and Meowth are fun pokemon to have, obviously not the strongest but fun. -------------------- |

Because you actually aren't suppose to hack it or use any third party programs on it perhaps you should read the terms of agreement, so my post is relevant to steer your thoughts elsewhere. -------------------- |

Yeah the packers just can't play the game as well as the steelers, they may have some really good players, but as a team they just aren't as good as the steelers -------------------- |

We all know steelers are actually going to win the game, you all can speculate but history is history and one of green bays achilles heels happens to be the steelers. Both are bad teams and i'd like to remind you all of that too Go colts —_— Go colts —_— -------------------- |

Manga isn't real Pokemon. You should try to find an emulator that lets you play online with someone to compete with and not use cheats. But there is some sort of Pokemon MMORPG going around online right now, don't have any other details on it, just saw an add for it on some website. -------------------- |

Uhh I don't believe in using hacks ever, but if you want to play the game for real here is my list I made.
Some that are stated as N/A doesn't mean you can't get them. All pokemon can be obtained by evolving or trading. I also did not include getting pokemon by trading random people in the campaign like Machamp can be traded for on some route in kanto I think. Celebi was originally meant to be contained in the GS ball however that story line was dropped by the producers of the show. The japanese version can obtain it and mew and all that however for american version it must be obtained through an event or game day upload. No longer exist. All other legendary pokemon can be caught in crystal. Silver does not have ho-oh and visa versa for gold. You can get infinite rare candies by trading in 3 points somewhere in golden rod city I forget what the competition actually does but this takes a period of time to accomplish, worth it once your pokemon hit 60 and do not level to wild pokemon anymore. If you wish to keep leveling collect phone numbers of certain trainers and they will keep calling you back, eventually they will have level 40-50 pokemon so you will have infinite trainers to battle, but usually only once a day at the most. So once you beat the game 10 trainers a day isn't very much. BULBASAUR IVYSAUR VENUSAUR CHARMANDER CHARMELEON CHARIZARD SQUIRTLE WARTORTLE BLASTOISE Can't be found in Crystal. You may want to try and just beat the game the original way which is play it. I am doing that right now in pokemon crystal on my GBC. The sad part is I can't get pokemon like gengar or alakazam unless i buy another GB and a link cable for like $60. Not sure about playing it in the game room though, I did a while ago and didn't play for a couple days and my saved material was gone so I never used it again. -------------------- |

I despise the packers and don't like the steelers, so I will chose the steelers the lesser of two evils. -------------------- |

Xado_Shikazo :
My favorite would of course be pokemon crystal, however I play it on my GBC not in the game room simply because the save functions don't seem to last more then 48 hours if you do not stay active on the emus and there is no way to trade or battle with other players that I have noticed, whereas however unlikely I have the possibility of running into someone in real life who does. I am sure it will be quite fun. I guess you could say I am a bit of a techie since that is what my forum is, I won't post the site because I am sure it is agains the rules as it is on my site. I basically specialize in C++ programming and help in that area however we have a plethora of uses. We designed most all the custom games for WC3 TFT especially when it was popular, we design most of the custom games for SC2 etc. I take good care of my equipment which is why my GBC and all my games still work perfectly, no one to really play with is the problem. Been checking up on how the emulators work here and it looks pretty standard. Based on what you are running correct me if I am wrong you have no capabilities for WI-FI trading or battling.
Unfortunately when the GBC and pokemon respectfully came out Japan was far ahead of the United States in cell phone technology. They had already achieved video texting when we are just now achieving it now. The japanese versions of these games have the capabilities on connecting your cell phone using a GP system and trade and battle with anyone over the internet using the battle tower level that does not exist in American versions to do so. Of course only capable in crystal and up. Finding an emulator that allows the same thing appears to be difficult especially over the net ones that do not require you to install any devices, which is what your Java emulator is. If any experienced member here has any details on this sort of thing let me know because I would love to play along with someone once or twice. P.S. Good job with the toons though, not perfect but better then most sites, plus most sites require you to take these bot test and other crap just to watch them or buy premium whereas you have it for free. Couple episodes don't work I noticed, but I am a fan of megavideo, and I love only having to wait 30 minutes now, thanks to megavideo for changing it down from 54 minutes. Hey, jus there to have some fun. My friends and I used to play Pokemon and watch the show when we were young, life is tough right now so I figured a bit of Nostalgia would lighten things up some. Well put together site, I run another fourm tech support site so I can appreciate time spent in this sort of thing although the $400 a month seems high when we use a lot more then most sites and only spend $299.99 a month. -------------------- |
