Zelda 2 was definately the hardest. I still can't seem to get my way into the final dungeon...I think getting there is harder than beating it <.<;

I agree that the original zelda was great but it a much elss involved story than A Link to the Past. So A Link to the Past gets my vote, as I stated before.

It's not exactly a disease, I'll bring more facts into this thread when I finish my health project on sleeping disorders though. hey, who knows? When I give my presentation maybe I can exhibit severe signs of insomnia when I pass out in front of them due to lack of sleep <.<;

Your missing the similarity that was being pointed out. Our country is practically divided over this war. The last time this happened was in Iraq and it wasn't a good time for our country at all. Also, the death rate in Iraq is big enough, and there is no sight now as to when it will end. Vietnam only ended because we pulled out...this could end the same, though I don't wish to back that up since I don't believe it. I'm just suggesting a possibility

Personal record: 36 hours straight not falling asleep till midnight...

I'll probably break it with midterms though. I'm not going through straight but I've been up for 30 hours minus a 2.5 hour nap today. The only problem is I won't be able to sleep till tomorrow night...if even then.

episode 48 of FMA finally finished...why did it have to be at the end? Now I have a 100% episode that I can't watch because I've only seen like 8 of the episodes before it...

100kb?? I don't think I've seen anything higher than 45kb and that lasted for about 2 minutes at most...

I can't wait to play Nemesis...unfortunately I savagely ripped my PS2 apart and threw it away. Maybe I exaggerated but it was already broken anyways. Has anyone played the FFV weapon? Also, I have yet to see Yojimbo's best attack...I've payed lot's and lot's and lot's of money and he refuses to show it to me

It's not the time factor I was considering. There are ways to reduce the time factor to one which is reasonable. What I can't see is how they would effectively integrate the leveling system and every other aspect of the game. I mean...what would the animation for a pheonix down look like?! lol, just little details like that that could pull it down down down. Also, introducing a definite story could be upsetting to some who see certain characters as better than others or, such as commonly seen in FF6, when a choice part of the story shows up and now it's decided for sure what happens. Imagining it, I think it would be rather cheesy. If they could pull it off though, I'm sure I'd like it. I'm not the most imaginative person.

This I know. I told you that's what I always think of when I hear the name Meryl...even in real life. lol, I guess I should have made that a bit more clear when I said it was for no reason^^

For those who will read this, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. This is the topic of my Midterm on Teusday but I can't wait till after that to get opinions on this. It's kind of new to me and I've never really thought about it before but I would prefer to expand my views on it. I'm hoping a lot will read it and respond. Here it is, it's not too long:

The question I'm asking is, what do you feel about the difference between assumptions and preferences? To get the idea of what I'm talking about, I'll type the small text added to the end of my copy that very shortly introduces the theme of the story:

ASSUMPTIONS VERSUS PREFERENCES

At one point in the story the narrator notes that Bartleby is "more a man of preferences than assumptions." Consider some of the implications stemming from Bartleby's preferences and the narrator's "doctrine of assumptions." It is generally assumed that persons will do what is expected of them. Indeed, it would seem as if society functions on the basis of such assumptions. Police officers are supposed to pursue lawbreakers; nurses are expected to care fot the sick; it is assumed that business people will try to satisfy their customers and make profits; and we could go on and on. Normally human beings act according to such assumptions, and society runs smoothly.
But where do such assumptions leave the individual? Are we nothing more than the sum of the expectations of others? Are we bound by others' assumptions and not free to act on the basis of our preferences? Notice precisely what it is assumed that Bartleby will do (and cheerfully, yet!): he will spend the greater part of his waking hours, six days a week, slavishly copying words and then go through them all a second time to make sure he has not miscopied any. During those hours he will "live" in a little cubicle, isolated from everyone, his only view of the outside world being a "dead" wall. In short walled in on Wall Street, Bartleby is being dehumanized by a system of assumptions that leaves no room for human preference. In his "I would prefer not to," he is reaffirming his independence against the very warp and woof of the social fabric.

Your right, the UN is a joke. But just because you think that, it doesn't meant that every time they say it's not right to act on something doesn't mean they are wrong. The war in Iraq was not justified and still isn't because, as of now and since it started, there has not been anything to prove that life there as it is now is better than it was under the rule of a lunatic. Many people have died for a lost cause. The cause was once there for some people, those who blindly followed the crap fed to them by our leaders, and it was a justified cause. But it's not there anymore and few seem to see what has happened to it. I don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative, but I ultimately share ideas from both. As I've stated before, I did not support Kerry...and said even before that I did not support Bush. What I see in America is a modern Chinese empire that has lived it's life and fallen. From it's remains, a new land will arise under new leadership/political system in a new modern "dynasty". This is how history has been, filled with empires that lasted a respectable amount of time but eventually falling only to get back up on the back of someone strong enough to do something about it. America is failing as a whole, it doesn't mean the entire nation is going to drop dead...and it certainly doesn't mean the end of the world. Hell...most people may not even notice a transition that may come. The transition is now, when it ends nobody yet knows but it will end. I don't have any thoughts on what will come out of it, but there is a limitless list of possibilites I'm sure. Take your pick, I'm sure you can choose what you like better than I can. There's my little rant, if that's what you want to call it lol.

yeah, that's what I would do. Actually that's what I would resolve to do but I would never get around to actually doing it...

If you count the FF legend games then there are more I haven't played. I beat FF legend 2 several times but it was the only one I ever got my hands on and I loved it.

I still watch DBZ, but it's not something I make every effort I can not to miss anymore. And hasn't been for a few years now. I still love Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. And I don't care what anyone says. The original Pokemon was good. Way back when...I still watch them if I ever see them on TV but they hardly ever show anymore which is a bummer since I don't like anything after the first season.

They originally started on the Nintendo. Back before they started hitting sony I refused to buy a PS2. But when I realized they were not coming out for Nintendo anymore I got a playstation and fell in love with it. But Xbox is different. Not even my faith to SE can break my oath to not buy an Xbox. ATM I don't mind if FF is for sony or nintendo. I can swing both ways.
