I recommend you try Final Fantasy 7. It's a simple game with amazing graphics, great soundtrack, it's addicting, and the best part about it is the story. It'll speak to you and make you connect to the character. But beware, there's a lot of cursing like the S word, F word (Which is censored), damn, crap, etc.

(Surprisingly, the S word isn't censored, and despite all the cursing and the fact that somebody gets stabbed through the chest and dies, it's only rated T)

They actually remade this game? i'm not surprised considering Goldeneye 007 was a success, but they actually remembered it? This review is pretty solid. I doubt I'll be trying the Wii port, but this review had a standard amount of detail and was an overall enjoyable experience to read.
