So I make a phone call and call master chief in. He comes after the guards, all you see are pink needles flying from his needler and guards hitting the ground. You throw him some pasta, and your off again to make some money. Eventually you come to a forest, surrounded by strangely dressed people carrying swords and bows, and wielding staffs and shields. This game is a great clone of Diablo, available for the Xbox 360. The game is set in the mining town of torchlight, which serves as your fortress of operations. The game sends the player into a demented underground dungeon of corruption that could cause the whole world to eventually end. Along with your pet at you disposal, you will dive into that amazing world of Torchlight. Torchlight is your simple click to move dungeon crawler, with quick action, random dungeons, experience points, red and blue potions, random named bosses and so much different equipment, that it will make your head explode!  This game is so much like diablo, that if you try and tell me otherwise, I WILL laugh in your face lol Torchlight has tons of options for customization, rather it be your talent points, socketed gems, adding elements to your weapons or armor to the enchanter that can power your weapons and armor up beyond belief, or strip them naked! In Torchlight you have an option of three different classes, with three different talent trees to build up and enjoy. If your a big fan of tweaking stuff, or searching on place after another, your in for a treat. Each of the characters start out with pets, either a cat or a dog. Your pet follows you through the dungeons, fights right along your side, and powers up just like you. Another cool feature, is by stopping and taking a little break, you can do some fishing. I have always loved this feature in my games. You can catch magical fish and feed them to your pet, which will change it into a total different monster for so many mins, with different power levels and stats. There are some fishing spots that are hidden a little better then others where you can catch more rare magical fish. Only bad thing is, I'm a fan of multiplayer and you really don't have that option, but if your pet keeps you company, you have got it made. As expected, you have the option of going off the beaten path and doing a lot of fun sidequests. There are some NPC'S that give you these sidequests, and you can purchase maps from them and go into these various dungeons to complete your quests. So the way this game is presented it reminds me of a mix, Diablo and Warcraft, with elements def belated from the latter. The first time you encounter a goblin riding a steampunk mech, tell me if Warcraft does not pop into mind The music, we don't even need to go there, because if I'm not mistaken, the songs are by the same composer that did diablo.  One more awesome thing is there is a random item vendor. Now depending on the package you want, and what you want to pay and luck, you can walk away with a epic sword that kills monsters with one hit! Overall this is a great 360 arcade game and well worth the points you pay for it. So is part 2, but that's a different story, Game on my friends.! So this is a great game that deserves a review, especially since I payed for each episode separate as soon as it came out, and I think you can actually just buy the game now lol [Plus I need to level dang it shhhhh] So this is Telltale games point and click adventure game adapted from the popular, The walking dead series. [Which I Love!] Now if you are the type of gamer that expects to pick up the remote and see all the fantastic improvements from the industry in this game, sorry choose again. But if you are a game that loves a story line, one that draws you in and rips at your emotions and keeps you coming back, make SURE you play this, its amazing. We all know the hit comic book series The Walking Dead is what has brought zombies back to television in rather a HOT type of way. To the extent to where it is the most popular show on cable television. So if your family with the comics, the writer puts Rick and friends through complete hell the whole time. In that sense, this episode series follows the comic book better then the tv series, although the story of the game is def not the same as the comics. So, when you enter the walking dead game, your entering a whole new world of experiences, with new People, motivations and plots, telltale nails it on the head with this one. So I don't want to get into detail on who the characters are and what happens and all the stuff, because it would basically tell the story. What I will sum this up with, is the story line will keep you snagged and wanting more all the way until then END. Then the big twist happens, so make sure your wearing your big boy/girl pants, cause its gonna rock you. Hope you enjoy the game, and thanks for reading! Ok so this game is def perfect for my second review, I hope you all enjoy reading as much as I did playing. So to call this game an exciting game, is def an understatement! For a title that some have called the most important game of the last five years, theirs a lot of tension riding on this one. This is the second game from Boston's irrational games, and this one starts almost exactly like the first one did. In infinite the year is 1912 and you play as Booker Dewitt, a man in serious debt. He is told he can repay the ones he owes by locating this girl, then he is sent to a fictional floating city of Columbia to find her. We learn very quickly the Columbia is the perfect little place it seems to be, that's for sure. Andrew Ryan had a perfect image of the underwater city of rapture, and the prophet know as Com stock in Columbia. Rapture went crazy with the knowledge of science, where as Columbia is obsessed with a racist and sexist superiority complex, worshipping the nations founders yet turning a cheek to equality and tolerance. America moved into a world were all people are created equal, and Columbia floated away and decided to be segregated loll. I'm not sure right off if I have ever played a video game with such a serious, intense and unfolding narrative story. There are several different ways to play bios hock. You can race and shoot your way though the game in like 10 or 12 hours, orrrr you can take your time and enjoy every little beautiful thing about it. My advice is to play bioshock almost like a rpg I guess, try to open everything, talk to everyone, read anything that is readable, listen to everything everyone has to say, and leave no stone unturned my friends. Very rarely does the story outshine the games gameplay, but the new bioshock in my opinion is def an exception. As a first person shooter though, this game would easily beat any other in completion. So there are a lot of similarity's between bioshock and infinite, theirs a lot different also. The legendary big daddy has been replaced with the handyman, a tragic half- man, half- machine monster of a broken science. Also when it comes to choice, it is non existing compared to the original bioshock. In infinite you don't have to worry about ammo like you used to, because its everywhere and easy to obtain, and there is no customization of weapons also, or upgrading weapons. Vending machines only carry about a dozen items, and you will be lucky if you can afford them. There is no satisfactory when it comes to finding the ultimate awesome rare object, cause they don't exist. There is no hacking, and you might be surprised how you feel like your just mowing down, wave after wave of enemies. The graphics in this game, make Sony and the 360 graphics system look out of this world! Now, while playing this game, it seems like the more you discover, the more questions that get raised in Columbia. This is a awesome thing, because it makes you not want to put down your remote. Its def safe to say the end will have you and your friends talking for a longgg time. So to be honest, this game is a great example of why us gamers are proud to be gamers. This game should be played by every gamer, and the story line blows every other game out of the water right now. I really enjoy listening to my music on youtube and streaming it through my stereo speakers. I took a couple of cords and spliced them together and made my own cord out of a male and female connector that goes from my computer headphone jack to the av jacks on the back of the stereo. Absolutely love it, its great for relaxing! -------------------- |
