They've come to places I've lived and sometimes they give those brochures on the streets also. Where I live now, once a lady came (with a young kid with her), so I asked them to come in. We talked. Next time I didn't ask them to come in because there was no point. Now she hasn't been around for a while.
The only reason I asked them in was because of the child.
OK, so you're religious and want to raise your kid in the same way, I get that, actually (I'm FAR from being religious). But, as pointed out before, they can get very negative responses from people when they "preach around" and this kid will have a picture that most people are evil. There are a hell of a lot of idiots out there, true, yet just because some people can't bring themselves together to being nice sometimes (when dealing with religion, for example), it doesn't mean they are totally bad or whatever. And I do not know what they tell their kids, but from what I see, they'll have a nicely distorted view on humankind.


EDIT: and oh, they don't bother me really. just sometimes, they irritate me because they want to "save me", "turn me" - I don't like when things are being pushed on me.
If I ever turn to something, I'll do it on my own. I don't see why I should belong to a "community" to have a god or a meaning? when it's in me, it's there.
plus, like NotJon said - they don't listen.

I ALWAYS want to eat/drink something when I watch a movie.
other than that - I eat when I want, which means sometimes I eat way too much and then way too less.

I've worked in several factories and I NEVER EVER want to again. it's boring and monotone and you're treated as a machine yourself...

crazycatpup : are you medicated? do you know HOW hard it is to live like that? from day to day? having nothing? having "the freedom"? why don't they get a job, of course there's plenty of them. if you live on the streets for years, look like a "bum", you don't just overcome that in one night - even if people are trying to help you, you are ashamed, you have started to think that you can't do the easy everyday things that other people can (or seem to!), you have alienated yourself from the society and not only - because of thatkind of attitude (well I HOPE it stays on Internet and you don't go around telling homeless people such encouraging statements) those people get more and more pushed away each day.
YES, we can't go and held their hands 24/7 BUT honestly - my oh my what an egoist you are.

No. I smoke, but I'm totally fine with going to a specially made smoking place or outside.

I used to think that I had all the freedom I wanted, yet now I know that freedom is never free...what I've had all these years and still have is - support. and that allows me to think I am free to do anything, mh?

I use it during the winter, because usually I tend to live away from the city centre and it gets really cold and windy here. So, it's good to have it, right.
Yet, it is so over-crowded. And I try to be polite and tolerant towards older people, let them have the seat, etc. Yet, I get so fed up every now and then - who the hell they think they are?? sorry really. just because I am young doesn't mean that they can push me and NOT apologize or that when the bus is full then they seem to think that we the young don't need anything to hold on to in order to stand in the bus, I mean, commoon really.
What I absolutely love is the convos I sometimes have overheard. totally random, yet fun.

Sometimes it seems that I have no idea why I start to like some certain person,
pretty often we are totally different and live so different lives that I just want to punch myself.

I like men who speak their mind, who are who they are all the time ( not one way when with me and the other way while with a bigger company), who can stand up yet not (too) violent haha more like who can settle things with talking, tolerant towards other people.

I hate stalkers, who do everything I say - grow a spine and an opinion!

I don't care how they dress, what and how much they eat, ETC
I've had so many men in my life that what I need more and more now is someone who can REALLY freak my brain. if there's that, all is well.

OK, I know it is easy for me to tell you things on Internet, but yes, real life is something else...however, until you think the way you do (always finding an excuse, sorry) you will be where you are - home, alone.
You said somewhere you literally have one friend. Well, take him/her with you and go out? you won't meet people by not going out and I know you know etc etc.
nothing ever happens where you live? no events, parties, workshops for how to do something?
you could organise something. and don't ask what, you'll come up with something anyway.
and if something is happening, I don't know, go and offer yourself as a volunteer.
You'll meet people when doing things.
Just. Let your wish to belong overcome the fear of refusal?

Some homework I dislike, but most actually is interesting to do. I study social work.
What I hate is those lectures you HAVE to attend in order to end the course at all, or you have to attend at least 75% of them to be allowed to the final exam. And why I hate it, is because some academics can make so intresting subjects seem SO boring and I would rather use my time differently than just sit there and think of not falling asleep.
