The key is just to post naturally. If you try to win you'll often make poor posts and rush your ideas/contributions.

When you find yourself struggling to make x posts before 12, you need to realize that by spamming you ruin the spirit of the game and make it less fun overall (I'm looking at you, April 2012 Tour de Vizzed)

Been gone for a little while, and that kind of thread seems to annoy me. Clearly the goal is a little ego stroking, but it seems like it could easily turn into a situation where a lesser liked member makes a thread, the chat room Tunnel Snakes catch wind of it, and the member is humiliated and demoralized. As much as "No Flaming, No Spamming" is drilled into the members' heads, it always happens regardless. :|

I guess in that case, you can't really blame the system, so people will have to be aware that by making those kinds of threads, they're opening themselves up to whatever people want to say. Either way, I wouldn't want them turning into Comedy Central roasts, and it seems stupid for them to turn into lovefests where everyone compliments the popular user. Ugh, gag me

I think the better way to do it would be to make a "what do you think about me thread". Just say your thoughts on the user above, and be open to hearing what someone else has to say about you. It "limits dosage" so to speak, and prevents several members from ganging up on one person.



Altogether though, I don't get why people need to be told what others think about them. It's a small Internet community, not a dating site.

After all the downloading from the steam summer sale, I really pushed the Internet usage last month :/ so my only access is via my phone. I've checke my notifications like twice the past couple days. I'll try to do something real stellar though, I guess.

So worth it.

Well, I was kinda hoping that the idea I had for this activity would be team-based, something we haven't had for a while. With the WHOLE team contributing ideas to make one helluva product. Oh well.
