Me and my parents have never gotten along well, so I'm pretty used to that sort of 'behaviour' from them, but I can understand how difficult and frustrating it can be for you. I hope this isn't a constant thing though, and I hope your mum does realize that what she's doing isn't always as right as she thinks it is. From what I can tell, it seems that your mum is going through some problems of her own (most likely a lot of stress), and she just happens to let that stress and frustration out on you.
It can be a painful thing, especially since it's your mother. And I understand since I've been through the same thing when I was very young, and it's been like this for a long time, until it's gotten to a point that we're pretty much strangers to each other. I'm just glad they don't pester me any more, but I doubt that's the situation you want to end up in. I'm used to it, but seeing how upset you are about her current situation only shows how much you don't want this. Also according to your profile, you're 26 years old, so if possible, I'd move out if family is really an issue for you right now. I'm sure moving out for a while would cool things down between you two. Easier said than done, but you should really try to let her know how you feel. A face to face conversation would be best, but if that doesn't work, I'm sure a nice long letter would get her thinking (along with some flowers too, because mothers love getting flowers from their children). But just a letter would be good enough, explaining your feelings and how you don't like the way you're being treated. I really do hope it gets better for you, and so you don't end up in a situation I'm in. It can be a painful thing, especially since it's your mother. Definitely generation 6. I don't like the idea of a fairy type in general. "Light" type would have made so much more sense. What even makes less sense, is the fairy is super effective against dragon types. I like the legendaries (with the exception of Diancie - her design is nice though), but the other Pokemon are not the best. Also there weren't a lot of new Pokemon in general. I hope Sun and Moon will be an expanded gen 6, like the user below me mentioned. I personally think Diancie is the worst legendary. I found her rather annoying in the movie, and... she really serves no purpose. For example... Arceus, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia created the universe.. Kyogre filled the sea, Groudon formed land, Regigigas moved continents, Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie gave knowledge, willpower and emotion to all living Pokemon, etc. All other legenderies have a purpose, but Diancie is just there as some kind of mythical fairy. I mean, I like her design. He mega evolution looks beautiful too... but quite useless. I wouldn't use her in battle too, mainly because of her very low speed and HP. (But has good defence) gamerforlifeforever2 : Phione isn't actually a legendary, which could explain it's low stats ^^ gamerforlifeforever2 : Phione isn't actually a legendary, which could explain it's low stats ^^ |

Hit!
We need so many more animal based Pokemon. I'm not really in favour of an ice berg, and a keyring that is, for some reason, a fairy type. We definitely need a dolphin Pokemon. Next person thinks that BW & B2W2 are one of the best Pokemon games (plot wise, character wise, etc) We need so many more animal based Pokemon. Danganronpa 3 and Tales of Beseria! Not excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon (Seeing how X/Y was a let down), but I'm 'looking forward' to seeing what they have for us this time haha. Hoping it'll be a lot better than X and Y. Not excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon (Seeing how X/Y was a let down), but I'm 'looking forward' to seeing what they have for us this time haha. In my honest opinion (and the opinion of so many people in the fandom), X/Y is by far the worst game. Poor plot, poor character cast, poor Pokemon, etc. It has some new features introduced, for example, being able to dress up your trainer.. And that's about all I liked in the game. The plot in X/Y is so... bland.. Also comparing Gen 6 with Gen 5... Gen 5 was released with soo many new awesome looking Pokemon! Gen 6 has even less than Johto, and designs in some cases, are worse... I mean, a Keyring Pokemon that's a fairy. A blob of slime that is a dragon. An iceberg, a rock with hands that have eyes in them (Geodude/Graveler/Golem is also a rock with hands, but the design makes so much more sense haha) Now the plot: Spoilers: A war happens a few years ago. Some kind of ultimate weapon is made, and some guy called AZ get's eternal life, and then the new villain Lysandre wants to use the weapon, and then destroys himself along with the weapon. Then AZ and his 'best friend' (A Pokemon who died during the war) get reunited. And this plot takes up only half of the game. The other half is you running around the region, finding mega stones, and that's about it (Well of course, battling gyms, the victory road, elite four, etc). Seeing how bad X/Y did, I was really hoping they wouldn't jump straight into making another new gen, since in my opinion, they're running out of ideas. They remade Ruby and Sapphire, and remake's were great. I had some hope they would focus on remaking older games, and wait a few years until the make a new gen. Or I thought they would make Pokemon Z with maybe a new plot, new characters, etc. But no.. They need the money, so they announce Sun/Moon. And it's not looking good so far, ever since they announced a new legendary (Magearna) and it's design is horrible. A Klink, Diancie and Dreamball fusion. I'm really sorry if this offends the people who did in fact like the game. I'm not saying X/Y was bad at whole... The dressing up thing was nice. I also loved the O-Power system. It's really only the minor things I liked in this game. I'm not going to say I'm excited for Sun/Moon, but I'll be looking forward to seeing what they have for us this time... The last game I beat was Tales of the Abyss for 3DS, and I'm currently going through my second play through to try and complete all side quests, and complete the game 100% overall. You're all making me blush haha! TheTrueUlti : Yeah I got quite hooked onto this forum/board And London is awesome! But just a heads up for when you come here. It's best to stay away from East London since it can be a bit dangerous there, especially for tourists. I live in the West, and it's great there. North and West are the best areas, South is also decent, but nothing to do in East. Other than that, there's a ton of places to visit, I can't even begin to list them all. Big Ben, London Eye, River Thames, Portabelo and Camden market (will be going there tomorrow), Natural History Museum, Tower of London, Harrods, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, etc. If you like Sherlock Holmes, you should also totally go to 221b Baker Street... but you get my point :b There's a lot to do here But overall, thank you for such kind words! I love learning new languages, but don't ask why. It's probably that awesome feeling of accomplishment you have at the end. Makalya: Glad to know :b though you seem pretty cool yourself! And thank you! (Love your layout btw) Jygin : Thank you for the nice welcome! And it's probably just me with German haha. I do know some words and short phrases, but putting them all together confuses me. TheTrueUlti : Yeah I got quite hooked onto this forum/board And London is awesome! The function keys on a laptop serve multiple 'purposes' For what you need to do, Fn + F2 should save the game. Then Fn + F4 to load, and so on. The icons on the function keys on the top of your keyboard (F1, F2, F3, etc) show you their function when you press them alone (Without pressing Fn). So, F2 alone will decrease brightness, F3 alone will increase, F6 alone will mute, etc. Pressing Fn (The key on the left side of the Windows key) and then the certain function key will have different functions. So for example, on Vizzed.. Fn + F2 will save, Fn + F4 will load, Fn + F6 will screenshot, etc. Another example.. When you're browsing any website and press F5, nothing will happen. Fn + F5 will refresh the page. Pressing F5 alone on a computer will refresh. The Fn key doesn't exist on computers, so just pressing the function keys alone would do it's thing. I'm also going to review and explain an extra thing...
Battle System I don't have a set 'rating' for this, but I can say that it's good. When you complete the game, you should have rougly battled 1000 - 1200 (if not, more) enemies since you started the game. (There will be a counter at the bottom of your menu, indicating the amount of encounters you have since you started the game) The point I'm trying to make is that the encounter rate is reasonably high - especially in dungeons. BUT, that's not a bad thing. Sure it might be tedious to get through a dungeon with all the random encounters, but at least the EXP reward and Gald reward is reasonable. You most likely wont have a problem with under levelled characters, and a problem with lacking enough Gald. If you do, just spend some time in a dungeon and you should be good to go. If people don't like the ton of random encounters, then there is an in-game item called "Holy Bottle" that decreases the chance of you running into a battle. Along with that, if you're really level/gald grinding, and want to encounter as many battles as possible, then you can use a "Dark Bottle" that increases chances of random encounters. The battle system itself... In a battle, you can only bring 4 characters (in this game, it is 4 out of 6 characters). You can pick your 4 main fighters in the menu of the game when you're not in a battle. You control 1 of those 4 characters (Which is the protagonist, Cless), and the other 3 are automatically controlled/computer controlled. During a battle, it will be your 4 fighters, and the enemies you are battling. On the bottom right corner of the battle screen, there will be names of the enemies you're fighting, and how many of them there are. On the bottom left corner will be your fighters. It will state the amount of HP and TP they have. HP indicates how many Health Points the character has. When the HP hits 0, they will 'die'. If that happens, you will have to use a "Life Bottle" to bring them back to life if there are other characters still alive during the battle. If all 4 fighters hit 0 HP, you will loose the battle, and will have to start the game back from when you last saved. You will be able to use items such as "Apple Gummi" and "Lemon Gummi" to gain some HP during a battle if it's decreasing. TP indicates the amount of Technical Points each character has. You need TP in order to use abilities. Each ability a character can use drains a certain amount of TP. When you run out of TP, you can only use normal attacking moves. You can regain some TP using "Orange Gummi's". Abilites are powerful, and it's good to use them, so be sure to always stock up on Orange Gummi's in this game, since you will rely on abilities a lot. The more powerful the ability, the more TP it will drain. Each character will have different "abilities" they have, which are gained either from levelling up, or/and completing certain tasks and side quests. There are 2 types of abilities. One type is the direct attacking abilities, which you can use straight away. The second type (which can only be used by mages) are the casting abilities. A fighter will need to spend a couple of seconds casting the ability, and then uses it on a target. For Cless, you can only set 4 abilites he can use during battle. The other 3 characters can use all of their abilities automatically (If you want, you can order them manually to use a certain ability on a certain enemy) The controls during battle are fairly straight foward, and you'll get used to them in no time. (Controls and functions may be different for you depending on the way you set them up, but these are the 'original' controls) -------------------------------- ← = Walk left (press twice to run) → = Walk right (press twice to run) ↑ = Jump Δ = Open menu □ = Defend/block X = Normal attacking X + ↑ = Jump attack X + → = Thrust attack X + ↓ = Low/kick attack O = Uses set ability O + ←/→ = Uses set ability O + ↑ = Uses set ability O + ↓ = Uses set ability R1 = -------------------------------- Those are the basic controls to keep in mind when playing this game. Now the only thing I can say that can be quite annoying, is the amount of time it takes for skills to finish attacking... It can be quite long, but not too long for it to become very bothersome. It's tolerable. Battle System I don't have a set 'rating' for this, but I can say that it's good.
