I don't think it'll be necessary to totally rewrite the article. I'll look at it more closely. I like the part about Stoney throwing chicken innards.

I don't want to sound harsh, but the way you wrote the article doesn't make it sound very professional. I think we should try our best to sound as professional as possible in a public description of the petition, it'll make people take us more seriously which would make them more likely to check us out... hopefully. Want me to work with you on it?

There are game conventions at the Mall of America every now and then. I'll get someone up north to watch over it and collect when they can.

I figured since we already put 22 pages into the "Planning" thread, and since we aren't planning for the launch anymore, this would be appropriate.

Um, forgive me, but which one? The only pictures I see that you posted are the "Pwnt" one, the Lavos picture and the Janus/Alfador one.

That's not what I was asking. I want to know whether we have a preference what picture people use to link to our site.

2. SSJoseph wants to put a link to our site on an upcoming site he's working on, and is wondering if we can give him a GIF to put next to the link, or to serve as a link. Do we have any images reserved for this, or anything we already have that we can use?

I didn't see that figure on their site. We can find that out when we contact them, but first I'd like some sort of agreement from the rest of our faction. What do the rest of you think?

By the way, Wolfpack brought something to my attention at the CT:RP forum. You guys may know about the Chrono Trigger Novel group that's got a petition going around. If not, here's the link: http://www.chronotrigger.info/. Wolfpack was thinking that the two petitions could "join forces," meaning merge into one petition. I told him that one of the things we established very early on in the forming of the petition group (I think that instead of "group" we should be a "faction." Sounds sooooo much cooler.) is that we don't want to get a lot of extra demands besides "Remake game" in the petition. However, he did get me thinking... the two petition efforts can still benefit from each other. If we each put a link to the other petition on our respective sites, then it could be that all signatures that they get we would get too. And since they've been at it for a little while, we could ask them to contact all those who have signed their petition informing them about us. What do you guys think?

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."

This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:

"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. Yeah Stoney, where have you been? Apoc's been upgraded to Site Owner too. People are getting promoted like crazy.

Now that we have a month to go, I'm gonna bring this up.

We don't have any kind of header/address in the petition. You know, something like "To Whom It May Concern," at the top before the text. I think the petition would have a more polite tone if we address the people who are reading it.

I have www.chrono-trigger.com to give credit to the site from which I got this background image. That was the agreement I made with the site owner.

Anyone who sees my post layout will already know about the site. I figured I didn't need to alter the image for that reason.

Hahaha, awesome. If there are any objections from any of you, voice them. I'd be fine with any petition copy, I just think it would be funny.

On a side note, my new post layout is almost ready. It's gonna be so awesome people will come to sign the petition just because they know they'll get to see it.

Apoc, can you make me a custom petition with a picture of Rocky Balboa right after beating Apollo Creed? A picture of Rocky would really motivate me to get out into the world and give getting signatures my all.
