Speaking of, this thread is getting a bit spammy. I honestly never noticed slow downs like this until I left and came back. I always remember activity just kind of chugging along, without really slowing down.  The site is just in a slow period, I suppose. Nothing left to do now but sit in a corner together and when somebody posts a newbie thread say "We're so glad you're here! This site is so cool! HAHAHA your post was soo funny the way you said you just found this site! DO YOU LOVE US YET?!". And then slowly return to the corner when the newbie gets weirded out and leaves.

I would love to join in on something like this. I've done a few with my friends and it's been pretty fun. As for availability, evenings are best, just because there is less stuff for me to have to do.

You're 10, chances are you don't sound like Ed Sheeran. Everyone has problems with their voice, and nobody sounds, strictly speaking, "good" at that age. Nobody is born with the kind of talent that comes with singing well. It takes hard work, and that means sounding bad for a long while. Your friends may have said your voice sounds bad because it did, and that isn't a bad thing. Your friends may have also said your voice sounds bad because they were just kidding around, certainly sounds like the thing I would have said to one of my friends as a joke. I don't know the context though. If you are 100% sure they were making fun of you, remember that not a single thing anybody but you says about the things you do matters. They hate your singing? Who gives a crap. You hate your singing? You have a problem, one that can be solved with hard work and determination.

As for your friends abandoning you, kids at that age are very concerned with social advancement, I honestly blame the social structure that kid's tv models out for you, that some kids are cool and being friends with them is the most important thing ever. One of my best friends now was a "cool kid" when we were in Elementary School, it didn't mean I got girls and hung out at parties, it meant I watched as he got girls and hung out at parties. Also I know it seems important now, but relationships with girls are a complete formality at that age. If you're lucky you might hold her hand or get a peck on the cheek and then brag to your friends for days about it. But, nothing else.

Your friends will eventually realize one of two things, that hanging out with the cool kid isn't doing anything for them, or that people who are the "cool" ones are usually complete jerks because they can have anything they want, perhaps both. In the meantime you can meet some new people. It may be tough now, but as you move into schools with newer and newer people you will begin to meet more and more people who like all the things you like, and that's when things start to look up. Since you're 10 I'm pretty sure that means you're entering sixth grade soon, so be happy about that. You are going to meet some new and awesome people. Like muffin said, be yourself, because if you don't you aren't going to meet the people that are right for you, you are going to meet people that like your persona, which makes it harder and harder to act like the real you. If you are still feeling down remember that if you are too young to spell depressed right, then you haven't got a big enough perspective of the world to really know what depression is, and that should feel liberating if nothing else

Every single genre has a ton of music that I hate. There is a lot of music I don't like. As for entire genres, I would say screamo, dubstep, country (I hate country SO MUCH), not to anger anybody but religious music really doesn't do it for me,  and I I really don't like most rap, like 97%.

As a kid I thought that girls would like me

My family was pretty quick to shut down any incorrect things I thought, which honestly I don't mind much. Not many untrue things got past them to me. The only one I can really remember is thinking that my older brother, who is considerably less mature than me, cut in front of me in the line to be born. I literally thought me and all my brothers were in a line to be born, and my older brother was meant to be born after me, but he cut in front of me and became older, which explained why he didn't act his age.
