Charmander all the way, it evolves into one of the best and coolest pokemon ever made, Charizard. That and picking it in red/blue/yellow/fire red/leaf green makes it more challenging in the beginning having rock type and water type gyms as the 1st two gyms you go to. Totadile is 2nd followed by Cyndaquil.

P.S: what does the Squirtle picture on my profile thing mean? Why do some people have one pokemon and others have other pokemon? Charizard was on mine but it changed to Squirtle.

I'm torn between Diamond/Pearl, Yellow, and Crystal. Diamond/Pearl has awesome graphics (I havent played Platinum) and give the largest amount of moves to choose from to teach your pokemon, making them more customizable and unique. Yellow is the ONLY game you can catch Mew without cheating, and it's VERY strong. But I think I'm going with Crystal because it seems like there is so much more to do being able to go to Kanto and Johto as well as the different things that happen on different days of the week. The only problem with Gold, Silver, and Crystal is that the opponent's pokemon are so weak which slows down your own pokemon's growth. Like after the 7th badge your pokemon are at lvl 40 at BEST. In Diamond/Pearl your pokemon can be over lvl 30 before you get your 3rd badge. Hopefully they change that in HG and SS so that it doesnt feel like your battling lvl 20-25 pokemon half of the game, which you do even after getting the 8th badge. The pokemon owned by the Elite Four and some gym leaders are the only one's that are even challenging to fight. And Red at the very end, I forgot him. Even so I say Crystal is the best.

Pokemon Crystal is VERY glitchy. The letters "B" "P" and "R" are always missing along with any of the other letters randomly missing one time and are there the next. Numbers dont show up either and after talking to someone the whole screen gets glitched up and slowly returns to normal as you move, well until you talk to someone else.

Team Aqua/Magma actually succeeded in releasing Kyogre and Groudon wreaking havoc all over Hoenn, for short period of time though. But they were the only ones who went from bad to good after being defeated and Team Rocket and Team Galactic didnt so who knows.

Ash tryed to give Pikachu a thunderstone when he tryed to fight Lt. Surge and I think he got his butt kicked by his Raichu. So he tryed to evolve Pikachu but it didnt want to. Didnt Ash get taught or trained somewhere in Hoenn to use his surroundings in battle to get an advantage (even though based on how he beat Brock in Kanto he already knew how.)

Nascar 2000 doesnt work. For the people complaining about the Pokemon games not saving/loading read the instructions. Do this: use the vizzed emulator (not the javaboy that dosent save/load right) then when your in the game, save like you would if you were playing on your gameboy like normal. Then double click the screen and a menu comes up and click save. Wait a few seconds for it to save (dont think it froze it will take a few seconds and you wont be able to move) and then your good to go.
