This tournament is rather simple, players will do Versus Mode like usual and after playing all 4 stages, whoever wins the game, gets to proceed on the competition.

If a player doesn't shows up at a scheduled match, he will lose.
A Game Over during the stages also means instant loss. So be careful not to die often.
THE USE OF CHEATS IS FORBIDDEN!

There are going to be groups, the amount of players on each group will vary depending on how many people sign up, max of 32 participants. If the number of players isn't 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32, then the first round is going to be elimination matches, in which there will be groups of players, who will play against each other. Winner gets 2 points, in case it ties it'll be 1 point for each player, loser gets 0. You will play against each person on your group once, the one with the most points gets through. If there is a tie on points, the players will play again until one of them wins. The groups will be done in order to allow the next matches to be 1v1 playoffs, until the last match.

Each period of the tournament will last 1 week and I will try to personally supervise, record and upload all the matches to Vizzed YouTube, when they are played. :

From Monday to Friday I'm available after 8 PM (CST). During weekends, I'm available from 10 AM to 10 PM. I can record your matches on these times.

Any questions regarding scheduling should be done on the thread.

To enter the competition, there's an entrance fee of 1000 Viz. Just send me the Viz and let me know on this thread. I will add you on the competition.

SIGNUPS WILL BE OVER ON AUGUST 15th!!! TOURNAMENT STARTS AT AUGUST 16th.

1st: 10000 Viz
2nd: 5000 Viz
3rd: 2500 Viz

Between 10 and 20
1st: 15000 Viz
2nd: 5000 Viz
3rd: 2500 Viz

Between 20 and 32
1st: 25000 Viz
2nd: 10000 Viz
3rd: 5000 Viz

earthwarrior : Count me in, I haven't played PS for a while, it'd be good to play competitively again. By the way, you should mention that Pokemon Showdown and OU are provided by Smogon, also give a link so people can know what it's all about, in case they're not familiar with competitive Pokemon Battles.

Kinda sucks that we can't use weather teams, I would love to have some Weather Wars and crush some Politoeds with My Drought Team

How about tomorrow, 4 PM server time? Koda and ender are fine with that time, so am I.

Again, If you can't do it then tell us when is it that you can and also let us know what game do you veto. The options left are Peace Keepers and Super Spike V-Ball.

play4fun : I'm ok with any time in the weekend, as long as it's after 8 AM Server time and before 10 PM. Not sure about Koda, but he do have an open schedule too. You better speak with your partner though to see what time both of you would be able to play, otherwise one of you might end up playing alone against me and Koda. Also, don't forget your veto.

ender44 : If you manage to get a time that fits both you and play4fun, let me and Koda know. We can probably do it any time on the weekend.

Davideo7 : So, I couldn't double post on the thread to announce my team won, since my post on week 3 thread has been the last one for 3 days. I was waiting for someone to post in order to make my own post with the upload of the match, but I couldn't upload it since we were told not to add content to the site because of the maintenance (When my team had our match, maintenance was already happening). I've also been restraining from posting since the server maintenance was announced. I'm saying that because I noticed you announced my team match as a tie, but we did play the match and win against our opponents.
