I did catch a few myself once. I remember finding a shiny Seel playing Fire Red, and I think it was either a Venonat or a Yanma in Crystal. Either way, I caught both. I wonder why the odds are so low that some people don't even think they exist. Sure, they're special to a degree, but they don't need to be THAT special...

For some reason, every time I try to load a Genesis ROM, it will load the sound but not the video. This doesn't happen for any other ROMs I try to load. Anything I can do to fix it?

So I updated my Java and everything, but every game I attempt to open seems to get stuck while loading the emulator. Do I need to down a new version of the plugin or is something else the problem? I did make sure that the site was added to my "Trusted Sites" and all... Thanks for any help.

I got a computer virus almost immediately after downloading this and had to do system restore to bring it back to normal, so I have to download it again now. I've used the plugin before, so I know you guys aren't trying to bug me, but I'd like to know what might have caused that and if there's anything I can do to prevent it from happening again.

It seems that whenever I play games around this time, the lag is really atrocious, but if I play about 6 hours from now, it runs okay. This is true of pretty much all games and browsers I've used on this site. Anyone know why this is? Thanks.

Hoh, Breath of Fire! I wasn't aware anyone remembered those games. I only played II, and it was pretty spectacular. But at any rate...

I have't played too many of the games mentioned (haven't even touched FF, Zelda, Castlevania, SSB, and a lot of other series), but I do think I have a favorite game, and that is without a doubt:

Star Fox 64

This is the game I remember most from my childhood, and for good reason. The fast paced arcade style gameplay in oldschool blocky 3D was glorious back when I was a child. Not to mention the ridiculously corny dialogue. Curse the "Barrel Roll" joke, the game is good for a lot more quotes than that. This game is also surprisingly nonlinear for a rail shooter, with different paths to different levels which you can trigger based on what you do in the level, and that I really enjoyed. Great game, all around.

Some Runner Ups
Mega Man 7 (Yeah, sue me, but it's better than the rest I've played)
Mega Man X2 (doesn't get the respect it should)
Metroid Prime (No questions here)
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Meh)
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (haven't played the PS3 or PSP ones)
Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (Insomniac is the greatest)
Psychonauts (sheer brilliance, but criminally underpublicized)
Golden Sun: TLA (Yeah, obligatory JRPG in list. I liked the first better in terms of story, but this one just had more to do, I guess, without all the cutbacks like Dark Dawn had).
