Well, I'm currently attending a community college then planning to transfer to UCF (University of Central Florida).
I slacked a lot my first year of college because I had lost interest in just doing the general stuff. But now since I've changed my major to something that I actually have an interest in, I should be doing better this upcoming school year. I am now majoring in Digital Media Technology with a specialization in Motion and Video Graphics. Basically, it's editing videos and putting awesome stuff like graphics and animations to go with it. :3 I slacked a lot my first year of college because I had lost interest in just doing the general stuff. Hey guys! A lot has been going on since I last posted in here. Very few of you remember me because I was a very active member 3 years ago. I ranked up to a trusted member pretty quickly and always posted in the Crazy House and welcomed the Newbies. As the years went by, I've been getting distant and distant... despite the fact that I have my own laptop and internet after years of complaining of not having one. (I'm also known for talking about it several times here on the site about it. lol. :p ) I've gotten a job, a new (and for once, decent) boyfriend, became an auntie three times and I'm already on my second year of college. It makes me quite sad that I keep abandoning Vizzed even though the site tremendously helped me cope through a difficult time in my life. But it seems that life has pushed me away from it and kept me focused more on being a responsible adult. (Ew, I can't believe I just said that... *shudders*) So what does VB look like in my near future? To be brutally honest, I don't know. I wish to be more active but the thought of it is only a temporary one. So, here's the plan- I'll try to be more active for the next three weeks to see how that pans out. I'll be going on vacation soon from work so I'll be able to have more free time without stress. If I can find a way to balance Vizzed back into my life, then I can manage to remain active. If not, I'll just come back once in a while. I do miss Vizzed, and hate that I missed out on most of the changes. But there is life outside of Vizzed Board, and when or where ever it calls me, I must go. It feels bittersweet to be back, but hopefully it's more sweet than bitter. Update-
We (my band) are slowly but surely getting back together. It's too much to explain exactly what's happened since I posted this a while back, but I will explain eventually. And that's cool that there are a lot of musicians here. We (my band) are slowly but surely getting back together. XxChaosxX : That is REALLY awesome!!! I am very jealous. Wow, this thread got a lot of replies since the last time I was here. Well, as for my current band status- It's been over for a while now. My friend (who got married and such) is pretty much busy all the time but I'm glad for her and we're on good terms. As for my other friend, we never got to start a side project. He got back into his old band and they have been doing so well that a local talent scout/agent gave them some info to start recording their stuff. I'm REALLY proud of how far he's going because he worked hard for it. As for me, I have been trying to start a band on my own but it has been proven to be VERY difficult. So the game runs perfectly fine but it won't respond to any buttons I press. The same thing happens for the game Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha. How do I fix this? I've tried toggling with the analog but it still doesn't work. I was thinking that maybe it might have something to do with my computer because it works flawlessly on my cousin's laptop but not on my desktop. My cousin has Windows 7 on his laptop and I have Windows XP. Plus, we have the same exact settings for the emulators on both computers. Here they are:
Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.18 Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team Resolution/Color: - 1280x1024 Fullscreen - [16 Bit] Stretch mode: 0 Dither mode: 0 Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: Auto Misc: - Scanlines: disabled - Game fixes: on [00000002] edit: I used both epsxe 1.6.0 and 1.7.0 as my emulator. The game runs perfectly fine until it reaches the part where Tab shows you how to do the larger graffiti. It says to use the analog d-pad for it. When I try to do it, the game seems to not register when I'm pressing the buttons for it. But when I'm doing something else (like moving around while not doing graffiti) the analog works perfectly fine. Is there a way to fix this? If you need screenshots to understand what I'm trying to say, let me know.

geeogree : Thank for the advice. And don't worry about being realistic. I'd rather have a realistic opinion than one that is just supporting me to make me feel better. After my post I was thinking it through and I am probably going to stick with Film and Musical Theatre. I enjoy making movies and I love to sing and act. Oh and by the way, If anyone wants to see stuff that I've made for projects to get an idea of how I work with my talents, let me know. -----EDIT: New Update as of 9/6/2010. Hey y'all. This is just a blip random update. Still no laptop, internet, and such. And college had to be pushed back to Spring semester. I miss all of you and I'm REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY trying to get back to active status but the mission has been a failure so far. My new bet for returning to active status would be by October. So hope this one sticks you guys!!!!! In the meantime, I've been really setting my sights on creating a temporary cover band.(In which we will eventually have our own material to work from in time.) But, as usual, the setbacks keep coming at me like crazy. I'm not going to give up on this though, no matter what, because I believe that hard work does pay off in the long run. :3 Well, that's all I have for now. geeogree : Yes I do. And would really aprieciate the opinions because I am really having trouble with choosing a major.
The thing is this... I can't decide. And I know I have the opporunity to major in one thing and minor in another but still... Here are the majors I've narrowed down to pick: *Musical Theatre *Recording Arts *Film/T.V. Production *Drama *Music (Vocal or Instrumental) (I would've choosen Game Design or Game Art as well but my math skills sucks and isn't at the level it should be for a game design major. And I have decent art skills but I am very impaitient when it comes to drawing and I get frustrated very easily so I just stop drawing because of it.) Another problem is the fact that these majors are the hardest to get a good career started from. I've been through a lot because of the fact that my dad was (and still is) unable to work and we basically live from paycheck to paycheck that comes from my mother working two jobs five days a week. I want to have a back-up major/minor that not only would be easier to have a career in but also something that I would enjoy doing if my original career goals don't work out. The thing is this... don't worry. You can be your own best friend. I don't play any online multiplayer games because I'm never online as often as I used to. I feel pretty awesome for coming up with this idea now.
Yay for creative innovations! Well here's the first official update: 1.I'm officially a High School Graduate since two weeks ago. WOOT! 2.I have also been on VizzedBoard for a year. DOUBLE WOOT! 3.My cousin has Wi-Fi on his laptop and I'm on Summer vacation so I might be on here more often. 4.My best friend and I have decided to create a channel on Youtube that's dedicated to people who are the underdogs in today's society, people kind of like us. 5.Life is good. I know who my real, true friends are now. And... That's all folks! Until then... Peace, Love , and Turtle Doves. --Gam3rG!rl92 Yay for creative innovations! Okay, so I figured something out... I always post a new thread when I'm here and it ends up being useless by the next time I log in. SO, since I'm always offline for long periods of time and I always have big news every single time I log in, I might as well make a useful, "recyclable" thread like this so I don't clutter up the site with random threads about me. Plus, posting more threads about myself make me seem like a conceited person, which is NOT true. I'm quite the opposite. (Those of you who've known me long enough on this site already know that. So here it is, my "official" updates thread! I will post the first update real soon. Until then...
