Recently got back into playing Terraria, except this time on console. Last achievement I got was Mechanical Mayhem (My fellow Terraria players know how thrilling it was to complete this legitimately), destroying the 3 mech bosses all at once.

Well, my father passed when I was rather young, yet young enough to spend more time with him than I ended up doing. No. 1 regret would be not bonding enough with him. He developed a similar habit with his parents as they were divorcing, so it seems as if history repeat itself. Now, I cherish moments with family and never hold back what I want to do or say with 'em.

Momo, I know how you feel. Memorial day weekend was supposed to be my time of rejuvenation, but I'm coming down with a cold and feel too sickly to function as well as I usually do.

IgorBird and et al. really hit the nail on the head-- There is no definition of normal. Everyone has their oddball interests and traits. 

Am I considered with the mainstream? Hell, no. I watch old movies, wear vintage garb, am fascinated with history and vintage art, cars--basically, a lot of my dumb pastimes revolve around vintage stuff. Now, most people, at least in my neck of the woods, would readily tell you that they could not care less about the things I listed here. It took a bit of getting used to to express my interests to the public. But once I did it, I had no regrets! I was immediately known for being the grandpa figure (in a good way...). I learned to embrace my unique interests, and this actually allowed me to meet more people that supported these and shared such interests.

Excuse my interjection from someone who hasn't actually been diagnosed, but I went through a tough time around the time my father passed away. I won't bore you with specifics of that, so I'll just say that for coping, I searched for more passions. Since I had to keep my mind off pops, I had to explore more of what, perhaps, I would have wanted to take up in the future. I was young and really didn't have much to do. However, I eventually discovered my love for early 20th century music (Jazz, traditional pop, some rock n' roll, very uplifting stuff), hiking, debate, vintage film, studying history and geography, and hell, even getting a little bit into fashion. Even though some of this stuff reminded me of what pops was like, it actually helped me connect more with him, as I realized how many similarities we had. This eased the pain of his passing indefinitely.

TL;DR: Find something you really love, and love doing it. I don't know how I could live without my ancient suits or Duke Ellington albums today!

Let me start by saying I remember your name as well. Vizzed is a much more tight-knit community than I recall. As for Vizzed goals, I just want to make use of the RGR, HOPEFULLY assimilate into the community again, gain some trust back and produce more wholesome and educated contributions to the forums.     Welp, I completely forgot about this website, but I guess I'm back posting on this board. I was quite active around 4 years back, and reading the archived profile comments and PMs I cannot fathom how I was even tolerated, for St. Peter's sake. Nonetheless, I let the bonds I formed here to waste, as I did foolish things and got banned twice (?) for mistakes I made. Uhh, to keep this short, I came here after a hankering to play A Link to the Past. Perhaps, some members here will remember my presence. I don't really recall of many former friends I had here, so I don't even know who to "summon" (I think you call it) to this thread. Only messaged a couple just to talk with 'em after all this time.
