I usually eat them right away, unless it's a King Size of something, I find those I can put away for later and have plenty for whenever I want some more. But if it's a King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup or anything related; bam! I eat them all right away.

Good review, but it certainly isn't the worst Mega Man game out there. That belongs to the bad Game Gear version, with screeching music, bad screen ratio, and just overall broken gameplay.

Megaman V GB is the best Gameboy Megaman, and by far one of the greatest Megaman games ever.

This is extremely late but I felt like I needed to clear this up once and for all. LJN has never made a video game at all. Not once. They are solely a publishing company. As for the actual developer of Karate Kid, it was done by Atlus.

I'm a bit disappointed to see that the ZX Spectrum isn't available in the RGR. Any chance of it getting on here or am I missing something dire?

Thanks ahead of time!

I always wondered, is there much lag during a Netplay session? Or is it dependent on each user's internet connection?

Alright, guys and gals, here's a scenario for you.

You work late (or go to school late, or out someplace late), say, around 2:00 AM. You get off soon, and one of your co-workers (or friends, or teachers!) asks if you can give them a ride. They live, quite literally, on your way home. You would make no detour or waste no gas. The only problem is, you don't particularly like this co worker. They're lazy, loud, etc et era. All the things that could make someone unlikable in that situation. Would you do it?

BONUS ROUND: You get a ride from someone instead of driving yourself home. Same situation. Would you ask for them?

(also sorry if this is in the wrong forum!)

Thanks, guys! I'll take your advice to heart.

As for being cut after peak season is over, Oldschool41, I plan to stay for much longer, so that shouldn't be an issue. ;D

Though, being haughty aside, I will definitely do that. Much of the money I get is going to go to bills and stuff that can help around the house, I.e, lawn tools, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, sheets and new pillows and curtains, etc et era. I don't think that's
too bad, right? It is, after all, stuff that's practical and could definitely improve the quality of life around the house, as opposed to games or other misc. Technology.

Beastmode64 : I see what you mean. Like I said earlier on in this thread, it all really boils down to trust. Phone calls and the like will help you determine how they really act, as well! I can see the hesitance in engaging in a long distance relationship, and the problems that may arise, though.

Beastmode64 : later on, and I hate saying this since it makes me sound like an old fart, in your life, you'll learn that more often than not, someone's personality is enough for you to develop a crush on. Besides, if they're local, or local enough to where you can see each other within a couple hours, you've already established a rapport with them, and know their quirks -- and you're sure that you like (or love, not judging!) them for who they are, not what they look like.

That being said, even relatively local long distance relationships are more of a test of trust than anything, since nothing other than an obligation to the person you like is stopping you from going out with another person without that other party knowing, and vice versa. It's tough, but if you can get through those first few weeks or even months trusting the person, it's very rewarding!

Thank you very much for the advice Singelli! It actually sucks a lot for me since I'm tall (6'2) and I have to bend down a lot, which wears on my back after a while, so not only do my legs and feet hurt at the end of the day, but my back, too! Anyhow, I'll be sure to look out for those shoes, let's just hope they have them in my size! If not, well, then, I guess I'm out of luck then, ahah. :p

If the feelings are there -- by all means, pursue it. Long distance relationships can be hard, I've experienced many of them, but my current relationship was birthed from a LD relationship, and we've been going on for a little over two years now.

Just be sure this is an actual crush, and not infatuation. The two are radically different, though the latter can lead to a bit more harmful behavior! Just my thoughts on the matter!

Okay, well, it's a seasonal job, sure, but a job nonetheless. I started on Monday, and work from 5PM to 1:30 AM. Starting the 24th of this month, peak season begins, and I work every day with only Sunday as my day off, from 5PM to 5 AM, until the 21st of December. My job? Replenishment at Kohl's Warehouse! It's actually pretty fun to be honest, and incredibly easy, probably the easiest thing I've done in my life. The only problem with it is, there is a lot of walking, since there's quite a bit of ground to cover. After I get off work, I'm not exactly tired, my feet and legs just hurt really bad. I blame it on me being tall.

In the break room, there's quite a few microwaves and vending machines and what-not, also, free coffee, so that definitely will help when peak season rolls around! I get paid 11 bucks an hour, and this is my first job, not to shabby, eh?

Anyways, my point for this topic is, any advice from anybody who's worked in a warehouse before? Exactly what type of shoes to have? How to keep awake (though I don't really have a problem with this, insomnia, yay!)? How to get noticed for a potential full-time employment opportunity? Well, thanks ahead of time, I'm going to go pass out underneath my nice warm blanket! It's a bit chilly this morning, and I'm exhausted.

No one is going to even touch on the fact that this review seems to be a bit rude towards the Japanese as a whole?

'(the Japanese hate Jews, and thus ALWAYS make their holy symbol the symbol for summoning evil spirits)'

I'm very positive that the Japanese do not hate Jews, nor do they harbor any ill will towards them, or at the very least, enough to let such blatant hatred seep into a game. I understand that you may heavily dislike the game, but that doesn't make that a qualification for a review. When you review a game, try to remain unbiased and objective as possible.

Also, I'll bring up the point that most (if not all) Megami Tensei games are not story-driven, thus the reason for the mediocre plot. They are game play driven, focusing more on bringing up your stats and surviving through harsh odds rather than focusing heavily on plot / character development.

Overall, this isn't a very good review, rife with spelling and grammatical errors, and reads more like a rant than a full fledged analysis of a game.

It certainly isn't the best game in existence but I do believe that you unfairly eviscerated this game. I didn't have much trouble with playing the game on here or on the actual console, in fact as a kid I had a fun time playing it. That being said, good review, but stay away from insulting the game as dennyjr22 mentioned. Try to keep them subjective.

Try a different browser. Since you said you just got Windows 8 I'm assuming you're using IE, if that's the case, download Opera, or Firefox. Install the plugin there. If that doesn't work, try restarting the computer. Let me know what happens!

D&D came out long before any computer games were even popular. I don't know how it's overrated when it has a world and lore nearly as expansive as Lord of the Rings and is still constantly being updated with fresh, new concept. Heck, without D&D, a good majority of the most popular RPGs wouldn't exist, I.E the Baldur's Gate games, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights, et al.

As for TetraDigm, you obviously misunderstand my point and refuse to acknowledge the importance of Dragon Quest as far as console RPGs go.

You succeeded in naming a jRPG that came before DQ, but perhaps I should have been a bit more clear.

The overworld is particularly what made DQ unique and, while it -was- done in games prior to its release, it takes concepts from Ultima and Wizardry (another jRPG that came before DQ that had the same type of battle system in which it revolved around the stats rather than equipment) and refines upon them, at least at that time. The sequels improved upon these concepts even more, and with Final Fantasy, became the main selling point for RPGs in Japan - much like how The Black Onyx introduced Japan to RPGs and how Ultima introduced the West to computer RPGs (since many pen and paper tabletop RPGs were popular, then).

I also need to apologize if I came across as rude in my earlier posts. I just got a bit peeved when you didn't recognize the importance of the first game and shouldn't have acted accordingly.

I also need to apologize if I came across as rude in my earlier posts. I just got a bit peeved when you didn't recognize the importance of the first game and shouldn't have acted accordingly.
