Well, have I ever been "in love"? The answer would be yes. About two times... Infatuation because of someone's personality. But after a while, you mature and that feeling goes away after a while. Both of those people are still my friends of course, and still talk on a regular basis as if it's never happened. In short, infatuation can be anywhere from an intense passion to little crushes. Attraction to anyone that is somewhat on a superficial level, I should say. Now the real feeling of love, yes. Two times... It's a long and detailed bit but if you choose to read through it all, they'll be in spoilers so this would seem more short and brief for those just browsing through here. First: Spoiler: The first real time was with another friend of mine. He was very much attractive in so many ways. A good personality, nice looks (although, personally, looks are usually the last thing I'd care about), always caring to others. We had a nice start, but things became a little shaky on his end and he felt so guilty for not having time for me on the side of him not doing a lot on his end to take care of me. He really was convinced that he wasn't a great boyfriend to me. And to risk not trying to make me sad and heartbroken, that I should find someone else that was much better than he is. Of course that made me heartbroken and sad at the time, and I pleaded not for the relationship to end, but he said it was for the best and I let go of him for a while. The next time I was with this same person once again, it was an on/off type relationship. He changed a lot as he matured and we talked on many different plans of what to do in the future. But... Let's just say I've been on a soul journey and realized what was truly love. Of course I was in love with him, and that was real, but... A few things here and there made the relationship harder on me and I had to break things off because of my decision that I loved him too much to make things complicated between us. I wanted him to get through college but most importantly, stay happy and healthy without anything holding him back. We're still good friends and still talk to each other every now and then when we see each other. Second: Spoiler: Now, finally, I'm with another person. His nickname is Tony to all who knows him. It was a crush for... long before some of the other relationships came, but he was with another person at the time. And I finally spoke to him about it after it started to become too apparent. He turned around and said he had as well for a bit before the few months where my infatuation for him sparked up again. On Valentine's day, it was a special day for the both for us, and throughout the whole night, we were already saying many sweet, cute, and romantic thoughts although it was only couple of weeks prior we began a relationship. All felt right from here and I've personally never felt any happier. It was and still is a true love like I've never seen it. Now we're discussing about our future together; marriage, children, a home to live in where we both can work and create art together (we both going for similar professions), the works, really. And I've noticed. I never did talk about it with the other people I had before but once. And even then that person admitted being terrified of the idea at that moment. But in this relationship, Tony and I were both very open and discussed anything on our minds. We'd do anything for each other and always will, even if the relationship doesn't last. But, I have a feeling it will. Actually, I just know it is. It just seems like we were both made for each other that way, you know? Now... many ask: What is love? It's a complicated sort, but I must say it's a gift of oneself to the other person. And quite frankly, it would not matter in the slightest of what type of relationship it is, rather it be romantic or platonic. The point of it all is to give. And if you or the other are not giving in the sort where it is of sacrifice, or are open to each other, it may not be the relationship/friendship you want or need. But to get that love, you must search yourself: Do you truly love yourself? If you don't, you're not ready for a romantic relationship, but you still can have friendship. Life and love are both a journey, and you must go on one if you want to find the true meaning of it. But it kinda came to me when I wasn't really looking for it, and hit me over the head, so I guess it really does depend on things. So don't lose hope in things and just hang in there! _______ What is love? Baby, don't hurt me.... Don't hurt me... No more.~ In short, infatuation can be anywhere from an intense passion to little crushes. Attraction to anyone that is somewhat on a superficial level, I should say. coletti888 : Ah, another newbie like me. Well, it's nice to meet you Colette! Welcome to Vizzed and the Vizzed Board. Hope you have a lot of fun here. And don't procrastinate for too long. All play and no work makes a pretty lazy person. ...Just take it from me. Ah, another newbie like me. Well, it's nice to meet you Colette! Welcome to Vizzed and the Vizzed Board. Really? Well, I'll keep an eye out for you. I honestly don't see myself well spoken quite as much as casual, but thanks. Very much appreciated. I've noticed some new people actually do say very few things now that you say it. But, who knows why. Maybe they don't have much to say, or maybe they're a bit busy with checking out a few things here and there. Don't worry though, everything has been pretty interesting around here and everyone's been very nice so I'll be around as often as possible.~ I honestly don't see myself well spoken quite as much as casual, but thanks. Last game I remember beating was Super Mario RPG, fully. And by fully I mean beating Culex as well. Why do I find beating Smithy was actually more of a challenge than Culex? People say he's the hardest in the game. As for the game I'm about to beat, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for a fourth time in a row. Well, let me start off with saying "Hey there!" My user name's MissComical, but you all can call me MC, or Tani (nickname most friends call me). So, as you can see, I'm new here. Yes, plain to tell, right? My reason for coming here is mostly to check out some of the cool retro games they have around here, but it seems like they have cool features too, like these forums. And I can tell you right now, this place is pretty freaking sweet and innovative after actually going over some of the rules. Simple, easy to bring in new people, and keep the older members coming. Honestly, I can see myself coming here everyday. ...Yep. Anyways, I'll tell a few things about me in FAQ format. Why MissComical for a user name? Most people really think it's because I see myself as funny. ...I can tell you this right now, unless you like puns or random spurs in a silent moment, you will NOT find me the least bit funny. So, just getting that out the way. My real reason is my wanting to be an animator while making some comics here and there. Hence, the "comical". Any hobbies or things you do on your free time? Surprisingly, I do have free time in high school so... yep, I do. Playing video games is an obvious one, but I also love drawing and character designing. That's why I love cartoons and anime. I also love to bowl too. What types of games do you like? I'm an RPG, Action/Adventure type of girl. If anything catches my eye or someone says a game is cool and wants me to try, of course I'm willing to try anything otherwise. Since you watch anime, what anime do you watch? Well, I've watch many different kinds, but one I can tell you off the top of my head is Pokémon. Loved it as a kid.~ If you got any other questions you want to ask me, I'll be happy to answer, otherwise...
