Being the Zelda fan that I am, I thought this was a great game in the Zelda series.

Storyline

The game takes place in Hyrule, where the son of a black smith (Link) and friend to Princess Zelda lives. Princess Zelda shows up on day to invite Link to the Picori Festival. During the last part of the Festival, the winner of a tournament gets the right to touch the Picori Blade that is impaled in a chest.

You are told the legend of the chest and get to see the winner of the tournament. The winner is actually an evil wizard Vaati, who wants the power that is contained in the chest. He breaks the sword only to find the chest is "empty."

He then lays a curse on Princess Zelda and leaves. Link is asked by the king to find the ancient Picori (Minish), the only ones who can reforge the sword.

END

In the game you must collect elemental stones to empower the sword and defeat the one who cursed Princess Zelda in order to free her.

In many places of the game, you must use the Minish Cap to shrink to overcome obstacles in your way. All in all, The Minish Cap is a great addition to the Zelda Line. The game was a little short, but a great game never-the-less.

I voted for Cloud, he is by far the best in my opinion, but while Cloud had the kick-ass skills, Zidane had the humor. It was a close pick for me but. . .

Cloud, hands down.

Link with a voice? I hope not. I know more and more games are finding voices, rather than text at the bottom of the screen (and I like that, like in the case of FFX), but I don't want to see any Zelda game like that.

By leveling I mean the fact that you gain experiance and have to choose to increase your hearts, magic, or attack. It was Nintendo's attempt to turn Zelda into a full RPG, something it shouldn't be.

As far as the Phillips CD, I've never heard of the system, let alone any Zelda games for it.

Yes, it was very different, but I felt that it was the worst. Thats just my opinion though. My best friend thinks it was the best out of all the Zelda games.

Even so, I can stand that it's side-scrolling (except on the map) and the "Leveling" system. Neither of those features should ever be in a Zelda game. Ever.

I've never been muh of a RE fan, but I think they are still great games. I think if RE4 follows well in the line then it could easily get that rating.

I always hated Zelda II. In my personal opinion, it was the worst zelda game to date. For that reason it is the only zelda game (that has been relesed in the US) that I have not beaten.

Come on people, you can't get any better than the original The Legend of Zelda for the NES.

Sure, I love the fact that Link has finally made it into the 3D world in games like OoT, MM, and WindWaker, but the original will always be the best in my book.

Oh, I loved FF7. The Final Fantasy series as a whole are the most wonderful RPG's I have ever played. But with ToS, what really got me was the battle style. Putting that kind of control in my hand in an RPG quickly became a dangerous mix.

Final Fantasy will always be around, and will always be a great RPG. I only hope Tales of Symphonia can become just as popular and produce just as many spin-off games.
