thenumberone : Well if I could afford to go to either the stones or Springsteen in person I would. I couldn't afford to go to 3 Doors Down but I was invited by a friend who refused to take money for the ticket so I was actually lucky. I also went to see Limp Bizkit years ago so I take that back, three concerts not two. Limp Bizkit was fun until people started rioting then I had to run for it because my friend was in a wheelchair and had to get her out of dodge.

earthwarrior : I've been to two concerts in person one was Celine Dion and the other was 3 Doors Down. I enjoyed both shows and was in the front row for the 3 doors down concert but I prefer watching on TV when I can. I know HDnet known now as AXS TV does concerts every Sunday and VH1 and VH1 Classic show concerts on a regular basis. $40 is relatively cheap to what the people who are there are paying. I'm not complaining.

BlizzardWizard : Not that I'm aware he did the Sandy relief concert the other night with the stones and Springsteen. Far as I know tonight it'll be Springsteen as the lead in for the stones and Lady Gaga and a band called The Black Keys. I've never heard of The Black Keys but I am mostly an 80's music fanatic. Once I heard Springsteen was in on this I said I'm ordering it.

As a longtime fan of The Rolling Stones I was wondering if there were anyone in the Vizzed Community other than myself who will be watching their 50th anniversary concert tonight. It’s a shame that it is a pay-per-view special but the way I look at it, it will give a concert like experience with less likelihood for editing as you sometimes see on concerts that are taped to air on television at a later date. I always wanted to see the stones live along with a couple of other legendary bands but for one reason or another I was never able to, either couldn’t afford it or something always came up.

This seems to be the best of both worlds really. A good selling point for me was Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band also performing. I’ve been a Springsteen fan all my life much like the stones so it will make it well worth $40 to watch this. If Genesis were to get back together for good and do a concert like this I would gladly pay over $100.

If anyone else is watching tonight what else other than the stones are you looking forward to?

Aeonarial : I wish you the best of luck and speaking for myself personally I don’t judge. I’ve made my share of mistakes in my life and still have my share of regrets many years later. I’ve never done something like what you have but I am a believer in redemption and the important thing like I said before is that you realized you made mistakes and needed to address them. It’s good that you realized it. I’m sure you have other qualities, we all make mistakes at one time or another. The important thing is what one does after realizing their mistakes. That is what you have to focus on.

Best of luck to you.

ecoe9900 : Well like I said I’m not real big into anime but it is an animated movie so it kind of fits even though I can understand what you’re saying. It’s been well over twenty years since I’ve seen that movie so I take it there is a difference in anime now. I apologize for the mistake.

Awesome-Kid : Well my days and nights have been mixed up since I was a teenager so I rarely eat breakfast food when it is appropriate time for breakfast and such. I do enjoy going out to restaurants late at night for what my dad and I call midnight breakfast. We don’t do it too often but it is enjoyable. I love French toast and pancakes, but I also eat beacon and eggs both bubbled and scrambled and waffles and such. I don’t eat those foods very often at least for breakfast but I still enjoy it when I can.

RealBrickz : It’s an all-star list… I’m a big fan of Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and The Rolling Stones. Am looking forward to The Rolling Stones concert on Saturday night. I haven’t watched the concert yet but it’s on my DVR. I just wish I could donate money for relief efforts. Hopefully I will be able to at some point.

ShinyEevee : I’m not real big into anime as some people but there is one I can remember from the original land before time movie from when I was little. The scene where the mother dies was very sad to watch. There isn’t much else I can think of offhand but that is one thing that automatically comes to mind in terms of sad scenes etc.

NotJon : There is a difference though between self-confidence and outright arrogance. It can get confusing sometimes because there are similarities but there is a difference. I think that is what she’s referring to out right arrogance, people who are full of themselves etc.

Singelli : I freely admit that I was arrogant when I was younger. When you’re young you think you know it all and you think you have the world at your feet. I found out later on that being cocky isn’t good and in fact hurts you later on in life. Fact is when you’re young you’re naïve whether you want to admit it or not and you really don’t know anything. I know when I finally saw what I had become I was disgusted with myself and in many ways still am. Arrogance is not cute and the fact that some think it is, is frankly sad.

I can’t really answer the question of why arrogance in society is considered cute. It should in reality be frowned upon. Perhaps it depends on the individual more so than society in general. Maybe it takes someone being knocked down to realize that arrogance gets you no where in life.

aeonarial : First please know that I won’t judge you. We all make mistakes and errors in judgment and I’m not going to sit here and claim to be perfect because fact is I’m not. I think it’s good that you realized you made mistakes and need to address those mistakes. I would recommend talking to someone who can help you with your anger.

In regard to your girlfriend well, I have been in a similar situation when I was younger where I was head over heals for someone and did everything I could to maintain the relationship despite cheating, lying and just plain nonsense. I was never abusive or anything but I ignored all the signs telling me to spare myself the grief and stress of trying to keep the relationship. As a result I was put through more grief than I wanted. Looking back on everything years later I know that it was a mistake on my part to enter into a relationship with this woman to begin with and would probably not have made some of the mistakes that I did if I avoided her. To be honest I regret the whole experience.

My advice is to work on you and don’t worry about her. It took me a long time to get over everything but after a while I realized that I needed to work on me and gradually I realized I was better off. It’s been many years and although I wouldn’t say I’m content with my life I am happy that, that period of my life is over with. I have seen my ex maybe a handful of times over the years and there isn’t any bitterness on my end but I think of it as a lesson learned and I’m wiser now because of it.

It may not be easy but it will get easier in time.

Best of luck to you.

thing1 : I’d have to say the NFC East. It always seems to be the most competitive division in the league and always seems to go down to the wire. I just hope the Giants will be in position to defend their title come playoff time. Least I hope so but realistically there are a lot of teams that are still in the hunt because of the wild card and such. It makes for some entertaining football. The Bucs game last weekend was real heart breaking to watch. Somehow their still in it but I would consider their playoff chances slim at this point. I’ve seen stranger things though.
