I just bought a sega master system with the fist Phantasy star on it. and I beat all the other Ps games. And i was just wondering if there were some non-trendy gamers here who have given PS a chance. I put alot of mmy life in to PS online for the dreamcast too. What that came out........ 4 years before ff 11. And was the only online console rpg. Phantasy Star came out in America before Final Fantasy did but in Japan it was reversed. One more question. Why does't anyone give probs to the FF on the original gameboy. FF Legend and FF adventure.

And how about a FF VS. Campcom VS. Marvel game

For my first review I had better review the one of my favorite games, shining force, I believe thee real title is "legacy of great intentions" I could be wrong though because in the game they don't really title it. This is a really good game. The combat is 2-d overhead, like ff tactics and orgebattle style. Get a party and can pick who you want to take with you. So the combat is pretty gun and each battle it seems like there are new twists. For example in one a big laser cannon shoots at you... But the best part of this game is the storyline and characters. Since there are so many characters there doesn't leave time for development except for a few choice characters. They are funny and quirky. The game leads up to a humongous climax that has your character sacrificing himself for the party. That’s all I will say about the ending so I won't ruin it for you. But in my opinion it’s the best ending in a videogame period. The music is good, nothing to coo over though. And the graphics were good for back then. The game holds many secrets and secret characters that add for replay value. For instance if you don't read a note on the wall in one of the towns one of the best characters in the game doesn’t join you.

Graphics = 7 easy on the eye's and no loading times

Music = 8.5 good soundtrack

Originality = 9 back then it was pretty original. It was pre final fantasy tactics.

Game play = 10 the battle are the heart of this game and they provide great fun.

Replay = 8 I've beaten this game at least 5 times and its probably 20 hours long, but it provides great replay because you can develope different characters in your party each time you play it.

I would recommend this game its > ff tactic in my humble opinion and if you would like this game I can email you a zip of it and a genny emulator.
