Luna ran through the streets, trying her best to weave past everyone in the streets. She stops at a wall in an alleyway, cornered by a few guards. She plants her sword deep into the ground, enough to create a small crack around it. She looks behind her at the carefully approaching guard and swings the sword through the ground towards them, sending stones flying in their direction and causing them to lose their footing. She stands over one of them and crouches down, placing her paw on his face. "I am not the fugitive you seek. And for such a petty squabble too. You should depart to your home before you hurt yourself." She walks over him, back the way she came into the streets, the other guard unconscious. "Hmph. Someone will find them later. Now where have those fools gone?" She looked around, but through crowds could not see her party. She starts walking through the streets, looking around in hope of finding anyone.

Is it some sort of shooter?

Threads like these are annoying and are therefore going to be shot on sight.

"I dearly hope you have a tongue of silver..." She steps back, moving her sword from his face. "Lead us then. Take us somewhere safe for the coming nights. I feel Jamies mind...and maybe his body may be in a small peril." She places her sword on her back, it locking into place and proceeds to hold her paw out to the Lord. "I'm keeping you under close supervision. Escape us and it'll mean your end."

Luna slowly walks through the castle, holding her sword in front of her for defense. She looks around, admiring the detail of the halls and rooms. She keeps her mouth shut, concentrating on any possible sounds, hearing nothing but the incandescent atmosphere, an uncertain silence, far enough from the destructive squabble she had squandered upon not ten minutes earlier. She looks back, seeing her allies had yet to catch up with her, likely distracted by the fight. "What madness is this? Leave your place in the shadows! I know you're there..." Luna shouts, hoping to end the dull silence, her patience running thin. She waits for but a moment, looking around the room before she wanders to a door, looking it up and down before trying to open it, looking behind her in case she were to be attacked. The door fails to open. She steps back and holds her sword behind her and waits a moment before she strikes it, the door crumbling and shattering down loudly in front of her, revealing the hall it held. She waits for another moment. "Yet still no soul shows himself? What petty excuse for a castle holds itself here?" She walks into the dimly lit hall, looking up into the faces of the statues at it's side. Right as she reaches it's end she stops, hearing a faint crumbling sound. She turned slowly to the sound, now seeing the statues were merely a facade for a much more threatening form, the stone in piles from the ground, the creature showed it's true face. The red demons stood in front of her, advancing slowly. Luna raised her sword and kept her eyes on the creature closest to her. When it had gotten close she swept her blade across, slicing it in half and slamming it against the wall with a sickening crunch, the wall crumbled a little on top of the creature. The other demon just stared at the creature until Luna stepped forward, towards it. Before it could react, she impaled it, creating a straight splatter of blood behind it. It falls back cleanly on the floor and creates a puddle wide enough to touch each side of the corridor. "Such pitiful creatures are not sufficient defense for a castle holding a man of such calibre...else he be a fool." Luna looks to the door she was going to enter and then back to the pool of blood. "I should return to the group. The skirmish may have subsided a little by now." She walks back into the entrance hall of the castle.

When I was young, I would always watch the Dungeons & Dragons and the Legend of Zelda cartoon. Good memories.

Luna draws her blade from her back and then holds it in front of her, piercing it into the ground. As the beast lunges at her, she kicks the massively wide blade, it hitting the beast and forcing it to the ground in a daze. Luna pulls up her blade, both paws on the hilt and lifts it high into the air before making it crash down on the creature, both crushing it and splitting it in two, creating a gooey and bloody mess. "If all of the creatures we may encounter are this simple, we should have no trouble reaching the mountains."

A user of this : Granted, but you are not in a Mario game, therefore you cannot kill by jumping, and punching brick blocks breaks your hand. You don't die, but you're not helped much.

If the game does something different, not copying the basic World of Warcraft formula then I'll give it a try. Guild Wars 2 and Neverwinter have stuck to me for that exact reason.

Frodlex : Since the two are completely related, I'm going to allow it. If there was a third game after these two, that would have to be part of the thread as well.

While it is commonplace for characters in games to be humans, likely so it appeals to a human audience, many developers will have their characters as animals to make them more interesting. A few examples are things like Star Fox, Banjo Kazooie and even Sonic the Hedgehog.

Now here's the question: Which ones do you like or remember the most?
