I have the real fire red for GBA there is no such thing that is normal without hacking or cheating. IE irrelevant.

I am playing it right now for the first time, I just got 2 mews, moltres, zapdos and articuno, I thought those cards are supposed to be rare? Anyways using an all water deck and have 2 medals that weren't very difficult to get. The game is nice because it gives you somewhere to play pokemon cards as playing them in real life isn't practical. However because its a 1998 game or what not it lacks so much we need, such as Massive multiplayer, new graphics, etc. Kind of wish they would make the fire red or leaf green version for it. New graphics same game, internet capabilities etc. Or just make a modern computer game version however only using first two generations of course. Perhaps different components that can restrict games you host to only using the generations of the host choosing. Won't ever see a remake of it however due to pokemon cards be widely unpopular.

Wow you are literally the first person in the 3 forums I participate in/run/own that has ever said they did not like Michael Bay as a director. I'll give you that he dropped the ball by doing those transformer movies but other than his track record is great.

I heard the twilight comment before, however I have seen the Twilight movie, first one it was to bad for me to ever watch the rest of them. The guardian guy, oh i forget his name is actually a staple actor in his 40s so I think that keeps it out of the twilight teenie movie theme you think it is. It is kind of like the first seasons of smallville, mostly young people with a couple key older actors intermixed. Not comparing quality just actors.

lol every remake that nintedo comes out with is platform to platform with 1-2 exceptions. Let me give you list that I can type in under 15 seconds

Trust me I have friends that game 18 hours a day and no more about games then the creators do, well mostly computer but having 212 hours logged time on one of his games on DS is pretty impressive as well. Having a senior operating job with blizzard helps as well. In his words, "There are exceptions, but 98% of the time Title games will always be remade for their original corresponding platforms." I'll take his graduate degree over your friends word. Nothing personal, just the facts.

Comes out good enough on my plasma, thats not a problem, I just look for remakes for all kinds of games. I am an original kind of guy. Except when it comes to modern masterpieces like SC2 and D3.

Well this weekend I saw two movies, I Am Number Four and Unknown. Unknown was solid of course because Liam Nesson is a great actor and just like The Bourne Identity people went to see it. My review on Four is the good the bad and gray area in between.

Some facts taken from LA Times and New York Times:

"I Am Number Four" cost approximately $59 million to make from what I read at the LA Times. They would have to break that easily before a sequel would be in consideration. Four is currently 3rd at the box office with roughly $25 million made in tickets. Currently no sites have been able to pirate it and post it for free online via webcams due to the FBI's recent increase in security with this matter such as shutting sites down like quicksilverscreen which does that often. One of the main cost savers was the use of new actors aside from the guardian. This was quite refreshing to see some originality on the big screen.

The movie was easily worth the $6 and I am sure because the type of movie it was would be awesome in 3D iMax. This movie was based on a comic series and a book which I believe the book came first. I wont say to much of the movie story other then what the previews and trailers showed, however the basic synopsis is a nine people from another planet Lorien took refuge on earth from the Mogs who are killing them off. These nine are a special nine from their race that each have a guardian to keep them alive as long as possible or until they have their legacy which is the beginning of them getting control of each of their unique abilities.

I will start off by going over the obvious pit falls of the movie. The first and major one is that it focused quite a bit on the future of this saga and movies to come that it took a bit away from the movie we are watching now. It was set up especially in the end to the point where it almost had big letters saying LOOK FOR THE SEQUEL. It had a couple corny/cheesy predictable areas as well where you could say a director like Michael Bay could throw in a really good twist. Based on the previews I saw I was actually looking for the twist but it never came. Disappointing yes but that did not define the movie for me.

The movie was average paced that had "edge of your seat" action scenes in it and phrases like "whooooa that was sick." I thought character development was fairly average nothing room for improvement but definitely not what I would call bad based on other movies I have seen. The movie some people say is just another typical sci fi movie, but I feel something more can come out of this then simply jedi like powers and star wars like characters. The saga has a future if it is taken enough with the audience. It was a really really fun movie to watch. I saw a review that said it was child like, but compared to gnomeo and juliet it is far from it. Sure it doesn't drop the F bomb every 5 seconds which just made my rating go up. As a 20 year old it was a great movie and easily worth the $6-10 to see it on the big screen.

Oh yeah, the fuzzy gray matter. I call the sequel the fuzzy gray matter. Based on past movies like this such as The Last Airbender I would say the movie has a 20% chance of a sequel, pretty low odds. Take in the effect that the airbender cost $280 million to this $60 million I might raise it to 40% chance of us seeing a sequel. Why is it in the gray matter? Well its ultimately up to the director Michael Bay to do it or another director to pick it up and take the risk. I am sure it will break the cost of the film which makes a sequel acceptable however it is still a tough judgement call. I personally hope there is because I think it might be fairly epic especially with how much they set it up in this movie.

Overall, fresh and original, fun, with some minor pitfalls are my final words.

Hope there is a sequel, I am disappointed about the last airbender because I am a fan of classic epic movies so I hope this time it comes around, its been so long since our last one in 2003 called The Lord of RIngs that finished. Bourne series and what not aren't epic, I call those modern day masterpieces.

Yeah, nothing will happen of it most likely, hope the cops don't come after he is x army special forces and wouldn't go quietly but I read what he wrote and it seemed to be written in a way where he can't get in trouble. Something like let me show you my gun collection. Its been a day now, I think if the cops where called yesterday they would have visited him by now.

Was skeptical about using Lugia, I usually just collect them and don't play with them but I thought what the heck I will make an exception this time. Otherwise it would of been my Level 46 Pidgeot which I tmed hyper beam and steel wing w00t.

I am not sure if I will keep leveling, it took a while leveling them off of level 35 pokemon and I have no one to battle with so I could finish the game with this team and no more level which I probably will.

Not sure about that one but I agree with Pichu. Alright Im easier because you should all know I only like first 2 gens.

You heard me, for all us people who are in their 20s etc who have it in their past firmly. What is your greatest experience with pokemon. Kind of a spin off your most fond memory of it or most nostalgic moment.

I am torn between watching season 1 on my TV in our old family room and playing me and my friends brand new GBC(mine limited pokemon edition) all day long.

Then I shortly remember doing that with a couple of my friends while watching new episodes. Never did that often because that was right after school when it usually aired at 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM, but those holidays like presidents day where a score. I miss that the most probably. Was hoping with Fire Red I would still be able to trade etc over the internet but its a short wireless connection they should clarify that in their ads.

It was a tough choice between yellow and crystal. The one thing better about yellow is you can get the original 3 starters. But crystal is pretty great because it has red/blue built in for more gameplay. Yes with that logic emerald would be best, however it is just getting to weird on the pokemon after generation II. Gen III was pushing it everything after that is ridiculously unnecessary. Remakes of the original 3 gens would of been fine rather then creating new pokemon by changing 1 letter lol.

DS? weird it was a system game not a hand held game, that is very strange that would remake but for a different format. Probably wrong info, because Nintendo is very picky about that sort of thing and lets be honest lazy. They haven't been really great about originality since the N64.

Alright, so I can't use it to connect to my broadband or whatever and trade with someone else in another state for example. Only across the room type of wireless. Figured that, but I wasn't sure since it was created in 2004 and that technology is easily available then to do it, well for companies that aren't behind like Blizzard.

Edit: O yeah I know it would only be GBA to GBA, but could I use it and pick up a GBA that is somewhere else is what I meant, IE not in my house. Like battle.net that blizzard uses. Or is just something that sends a signal to a nearby GBA IE 20 feet away to trade or battle.

I had this for N64 a long time ago, well I played it a long time ago I still own it. Anyways done some research and can't find a remake for Wii. Wondering if one is already out there or if one is being made. Anyone got any information on this they could share would be great.

I just got Fire Red for my GBA because I realize it is almost identical to the originals, only uses the original pokemon etc. Anyways it came a wireless adapter. Wondering if I could get some info on this. Does this mean I can connect to my AT&T wireless internet and battle and trade with people worldwide or is it wireless trading in the form of you can be 20 feet from another GBA? Haven't opened it yet to test and find out because I would like to know this first. So I can return this and get a used one w/o the wireless adapter if I need to.

Heracross was pretty great. Liked scizor to, I think everyone who was a fan of scyther liked that though. Skarmory was a lot of fun to find. I think mareep was pretty standard pick, early electric pokemon, three evolution stages, level up to evolve all really standard and a staple new pokemon for sure. Lots of people use ampharos as a team member.

Everything should be set at 18, and they need to go ahead and make tobacco illegal, in southern california there are very few public places where you can smoke cigs, marketing laws have been put in place like crazy over the last decade against the tobacco industry they just don't want to because they need the tax dollars from it all they know it is whats right.

My friend was acting kind of stupid online, he plays online games all the time but this time he did it in a place that could cost him, so I am trying to get him information.

You know playing online games lots of cussing and threats going around especially for the team losing like on SC2. Well this time he did it with someone trying to sell him something on craigslist. He didn't really start the flaming going back and forth but ended up threatening the person by emailing him an IP address he just made up and telling the person he had a gun. I know stupid right, I already smacked him on the head so you don't need to ask.

Anyways I am studying at law school so I am well aware it is illegal to threaten in california when it is substantial. Having the person who said their father is a copy he is now worried. Trying to tell him to relax and that since it was just a childish thing nothing would really happen even if his father was a cop and he wasn't just doing childish online lying. Would like a couple replies stating your opinion basically on whether or not he is screwed or not to reassure him of what is going to happen.

Just caught a ryhorn in victory road when I was training for the league. Only had one ball left I could use on it which was my heavy ball and thank god it worked, I had it at 1/3rd HP so it wasn't really weak yet. Level 35 ryhorn is pretty good though. Don't plan on using it but nice to have back ups.
