It's been really cold lately so I haven't really been going outside much because it sets off my asthma, I'm really forgetful so sometimes I end up not bringing my asthma pumps out when traveling. It can be really difficult to breathe without them in the cold. I'm just ready for it to warm up already.

What are your current thoughts on all of the Sonic games you've beaten over the years?

Rather recently I got into books again after years so it's been fun rediscovering my tastes in books and seeing how much they've changed. I Just finished On Earth We're briefly gorgeous by Ocean Vuong which even the name alone shows you the mastery he has over the English language I'd say out of his books this is probably my favourite one of his overall while in terms of his dedicated poetry books I think I prefer night sky with exit wounds over time is a mother even though they're both great and I'd recommend all his works throughly. Now in contrast I'm reading the last children of Tokyo by yoko tawada because I also got into translated fiction recently and have been really enjoying it, she's made my least favourite book so far which is called scattered all over the Earth so now I want to see if its just her writing I hate or thar book specifically out of curiosity it's not a long read so I might even be able to finish it today who knows.

I woke up around 1 in the afternoon I think, I had to do a covid test since my dad caught it somehow it turns out he's the only person who has it right now in the house and hopefully it stays that way and he recovers relatively soon but we'll see, not a nice thing to wake up to I admit but I'm glad he's still doing relatively well and he still has his sense of taste so at least food isn't ruined for him.

I can't remember too clearly exactly but I believe that I stayed up until early in the morning partially because of the heat and partially because I was playing something and I got a bit too invested and I can be impressively stubborn at times, usually when "just 1 more hour" becomes me looking at the time and seeing it's like 5 in the morning and I decide it's probably best to not stay up any longer than I already have. I slept for a bit then I just ended getting up again rinse and repeat.

The last thing that I drank was some chocolate milk that I made using the chocolate Nesquik powder and some lacto-free milk which is essentially like normal milk but with the lactose taken out of it since I'm actually lactose intolerant, apparently, it's a genetic thing and it can happen to anyone randomly at any point in their life usually when they're grown up or it could potentially not happen at all I didn't know for a decent while my dad was lactose intolerant too since he never mentioned it or anything turns out he's just stubborn and he was denying it for years. I do find it interesting though how you can have premade chocolate milk or you could buy the powder and make it that way or you can buy these straws that have like the balls of powder in them so when you drink them with the milk it gets processed through them.

Right now I have "Take Over" from Persona 5 Royal in my head which reminds me how many of the persona games are getting ported to stuff which is exciting since it's gonna introduce new people to the series so I look forward to seeing what they will do with the new traffic but I also wish they showed the same love for the original games in the series like 1 and both parts of 2 even if they are more of an acquired tasted for most people.

The first thing I thought of was the chicken stir fry that we make at home using a recipe from the hairy dieter's cookbook would honestly recommend it tastes amazing and I always look forward to eating it and the other great recipes that they have in there.

The next work is small.

I think that currently while there are multiple games that I'm looking forward to such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 or the next main line Pokemon game, right now I am most excited to see how the next Final Fantasy game in the series is going to turn out and which direction it's going to take with the series especially considering the success of the FF7 remake part 1 so far. I'm really curious to see what the combat system is going to be like and which new systems it's going to introduce and I'm curious if it will create any new staples in the franchise as a whole.

I've tried many MMOs and personally I feel that each has at least one thing that you could probably enjoy about it, honestly, I'd just say if you're interested in one try it out for an hour or two and if it isn't doing much for you drop it and move onto the next one. I believe the best one for me personally is FF14 since unlike many MMOs it has a higher focus on being a good game first and foremost than being a good MMO 2nd which is how I feel more should do it. It is rather interesting though that now thanks to Lost Ark being considered a good game it is making people more open to good games that are also pay-to-win since usually games that are considered pay-to-win die and fade into obscurity unless they're a mobile game which where they thrive.

The weather lately has been good but the only downside is that it has also been heating up quite a bit lately, I know that people tend to mention how when it's "hot" over here and people from other places tell me how it's like regular temperatures where they are or they even consider it cold but personally I'm English so, unfortunately, I've been ailed with the constitution of a frail British woman too which means I can't handle anything above comfortably warm.

I also played some pokemon conquest, was also definitely not the person who encouraged Sonic to play conquest some more since it's an underappreciated gem, I most definitely did not do that at all. I took down around 4 kingdoms today which was rather satisfying but I feel that the next time I play I'm probably in for a grinding montage that I'm only slightly looking forward to.

I'm trying to stay awake for a bit and post some to make more progress also since I've been in the mood to post casually lately without competing seriously in TDV, it's a nice feeling posting in TDV since it's a near-constant flow of activity which makes posting more much easier.

The last thing that I ate was some grapes from the fridge to help keep me cool since it's really been heating up lately so I've been living in front of my fan nearly 24/7. Grapes are the best fruit since they're heavily endorsed by Knuckles, the best red echidna around.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
