I guess I can give you an answer from a non-denominational, pansexual P.O.V.

I, myself, don't like the word "purity" or "virginity." To me, those words carry with it the implication that if you have sex, you're somehow "impure" or "dirty." I know that's not what YOU see it as, but that's how society treats it.

That being said, I think that if you want to wait till marriage then that is absolutely wonderful. There is no reason you shouldn't do so. However, I also don't think there is any reason TO wait till marriage. For you, the first time making love symbolizes something special, and that's awesome. For others, it just doesn't. It's just a really bad and messy sexual encounter. These same people most likely just view sex as something that is fun and they don't really see it as some kind of special thing. Sadly, it's people (particularly women) like these who are viewed as "s***s" for their views.

Then there are people like me, who view it as something I wouldn't just do with anybody, but it's waaay too much fun to wait till marriage to experience it. My "virginity" wasn't what I cared about. I cared about only having sexual moments with a man/woman I cared for. The state of my hymen didn't matter to me.

I hope that made sense.

Oh and I think it's amazing you're so dedicated to waiting. Not many people have that much self control, so you're awesome.

I'm convinced we're biologically programmed to hate each other. It's just that some of us overcome the biology and make friends with some women. XD

rcarter2 : It's okay. I'm actually glad you showed up.

After the horrible backlash that came from Txgangsta, I just decided to send an e-mail to Fr. Larry. So if the local mods want to close this it's okay. If I had known it was gonna initiate such a mean-spirited reaction from one of the members I wouldn't have even posted it in the first place. I just thought I'd try to find out about the rules and stuff before I talked to him since he's President of the school and he's really busy.

Anyway, anyone who wants to close this can. I don't want to be responsible for another flame war.

Txgangsta : Thanks for making it sound like I don't take marriage or my religion seriously. I don't know if that was your intention, but you sounded really preachy and rude.

I don't want to be married "Catholic." I just want a Holy Man I know and trust to perform the ceremony. Him being Catholic has nothing to do with my decision. He could be Islamic and I'd still want him to marry us because I know and trust him.

I have been with my fiance for over 5 years and we want to get married after I graduate college. Neither of us claim a denomination of Christianity, but we believe in the Christian God. So that means we don't really go to church, so we don't know any pastors or priests other than the staff of my University and they are all priests. Well, I'm pretty tight with the President of the University, Father Larry. Since I don't know any pastors or preachers, I'd like to have Father Larry marry us, but I don't know what is required for that to happen.

Are there any Catholics here on vizzed who know how this would work? I only ask because I've heard we have to take a six month class and then the wedding will be really strict. And if there are a lot of strict regulations, is there a way I can have him marry us, not as a Priest, but just as an Ordained Minister?

If anyone answer these questions, I'd appreciate it.

I haven't beaten it yet, but I've enjoyed Birth By Sleep a lot. Aqua is the only scenario I've completely beaten and she was a lot of fun to use.

It took a lot of grinding, but I beat the KH2 Sephiroth in pretty much one sitting.

As for KH1 Sephiroth, I can't even beat the Ice Titan, so my chances of ever beating him are nil.

Okay, my brilliant vizzed friends. I need help thinking of a title for my newest story for Creative Writing. It's about a Necromancer named Wolf Dreygon who is paid by the government and the police force to revive murder victims just long enough for them to finger their killers. His wife's murder was what drove him to become a necromancer, but he has not been able to bring himself to revive her, afraid she may hate him for his actions. He grows Chinese Balloon Flowers in a greenhouse in his back yard, and he brings a bouquet to her grave once a week.

I don't have much more than that written at the moment, but I'm hoping, with a good title, I'll be able to write the story with more confidence. Any ideas, friends?

There was a post similar to this before, but it wasn't exactly the same, so I'll just use my answer from that other thread: Hellsing vs. Trinity Blood.

Alucard vs. Abel Nightroad

Seras Victoria vs. Astaroche Asran

Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing vs. Esther Blanchet

Pip Bernadotte vs. Father Tres

Alexander Anderson vs. Cain Nightroad

Well considering he cannot be killed by anything and he can kill pretty much anyone, I'm gonna go with Alucard from Hellsing: Ultimate. Even erasing him from existence couldn't keep him gone.

I don't usually like movies with plot holes, but there's the occasional guilty pleasure. I love all of the Saw films, and they are riddled with plot holes. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the question of what happened to Lawrence Gordon's family. *SPOILERS* We find out that Gordon is alive and well, but where are his wife and kid? Did they drop off the earth? Did they leave him? I was really curious about that, and the movies never answered that question.

I love black and white movies. I actually go on Netflix looking for old movies. A few b&w movies I've watched are:

Citizen Kane, Freaks, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, The Wolfman, The Lady Vanishes, The Mummy, and A Streetcar Named Desire.

My favorite horror movie is Tod Browning's Freaks, made in 1932. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Browning used actual side-show freaks for the movie rather than using prosthetics and costumes. That is, you will see actual people with missing limbs and how they have adapted to life without arms, legs, or even arms and legs.
