Well, I play hours upon hours of games and get nothing more than just the gameplay, I have bought quite a few games and 90% of them are RPG or RPG based, and I use the EXP as a way to rate my gaming prowess and perseverance in managing to get to the higher levels, I have taken the format of the statistics on this site and use it in many RPG based Roleplays out of site and it hinders evolution to know I have to post continuously when I myself am not a native to the Forums so I'm continuously getting lost sifting through the endless lists trying to find that which even sounds remotely familiar.

Being a huge gamer on a site like Vizzed, as awesome as all the games are, providing a stats bonus for posting in a forum when you don't understand them, is as dangerous as plonking yourself in a den of lions. This is my main reason for starting this thread in the first place, adding to the fact I'm not known for my social skills as I will blatantly admit that I lack severely and that causes a fair few problems of insults via blatantly oblivious remarks or outright honesty.

We all know Vizzed is renowned for it's forums and it's eccentricities... I have but one issue with the entire site and that is the leveling system, we all know you can spend months idling on Vizzed and just rack up EXP one at a time, or endlessly trawl the forums for something you can post on without sounding like an Idiot or an A**hole {pardon my french}.

What I and many other Vizzed gaming regulars have noticed is a distinct lack of EXP earning for playing the games in the first place, we could change that quite possibly with a fair number of ideas.

1st. We have a very simple solution previously put up by other forum members... EXP packs in the item shop?, sounds like a fair go, but how would one see about fair pricing it? for the higher levels, buying 100XP XP packs would be ridiculous as it barely cuts a swathe in the EXP bar. On the upside it does make it easier to price rather than trying to code a 10% XP item that has to price up according to your level.

2nd. XP for uploading our gaming videos, it takes a long time for most uploads to actually get on the internet due to slow connections these days and makes it rather painstaking as it racks up our downloads and net bills. Sounds feasible but it too has a problem, you forget to link your video to this site? kablooey, gone, no XP.

3rd. {my personal favourite} GETTING XP FOR BUYING GAMES: simple elegant and can be easy to look into as I spend a lot of time actually playing the games, rather than forum trawling {I don't usually use forums for excess spam, flaming, confusing searches, limited access and so on}, or even constantly writing nonsense reviews or other things

You guys tell me your other ideas and lets help Davideo7

I have recently decided to bring the action of my gaming career from Vizzed to You Tube so a few of you can see how games are supposed to be enjoyed. Each video will be part of a whole, broken up and entirely unedited so none of those annoying mid video interruptions. I have already uploaded my first vid to my profile and will begin from there in.

My DKC 2 Adventures, it's already linked to Vizzed on Donkey Kong Country 2 for the Snes so please watch it and enjoy while I play and record my adventures to be uploaded.

I also fully intend to bring as many games as I possibly can into the deal as well, so if DKC isn't your cup of tea I will have other games all put up too.

Googler123, I feel sorry that you have to come along with such a time wasting comment, if you had to finish a game first to review it, then Shows like Good Game: Spawn Point and magazines Like OXM {official xbox magazine} would never really exist would they?

Both of these and many other references all come out with reviews on games coming out with only pieces of what may or may not be in the game to work with.

Maybe when I'm not being dragged about, I know how much effort I didn't put in, though I'm also not that far into the game to give it a full critical view on how it runs.

A very addictive Hack Poke'mon game, Victory Fire offers players a storyline as unique as other rewritten games, I loved this game automatically from the get go.

First off lets start with the most obvious:
- You're very clearly not in any recognizable territory of the gaming franchise, meaning no matter how many times you run through an area, you'll not find many similarities in the maps.

- The game starts off like good ol' Yellow version way back on the old GB, you get your first poke'mon, mostly because you have no choice in the matter as, Axew, a brilliant little Dragon whose Strength stat makes you look at Machamp like a sissy girl.

- Your character looks majorly different in most respects to previous characters, {exceptions being most obviously... other hack}.

-Gym Leaders are no holds barred "kick you in the keester", for those of you who need a helping hand with your first Gym I trained my Axew to level 19 and Ekans to 16, though I recommend you try and have the patience for one more each. They're almost ridiculously hard to beat.

these are a few of the massive differences in game play that would be experienced throughout the entire story line, I haven't gotten too far yet myself. *See Above*, for the reason. There are many species of Poke'mon to catch and at first it may seem a waste of your time training at the very beginning {unfortunately I won't spoil too much}, but I suggest burning through the first part as best you can.

The Music on the other hand seems to be distorted or comes across as discordant, whether this is deliberate or not I don't know though it does occasionally bug me when it switches about like it's on crazy pills. but I will put my foot down and say this is a good game and a must for avid collectors

IX was the most modern version I played after X, XII and XII-2, XIII just tried to hard to play open action and just overall ruined it for me.

I love to grind and that classic victory music is missing in the newer games TT_TT I love all the old spells and having to ration your MP for the big boss battles... that don't take 3 hours to complete X_x on the other hand, I agree with the better polygonal graphics and the expansion of the background... though the freely visible enemies, while an interesting concept, fell short of expectations

I have found that over the years, Final Fantasy games have strayed far from the path that has come to be renowned around the world, the old spells like Curaja and Osmose and their over the top graphics for the age. The modern games hardly even follow the same style, I definitely prefer the Retro games, IX and below. X and above clearly showed where they had begun to stray from the path

Well Anubris, the Fire Emblem series is well known for Visual style beyond their years and the music is also brilliant, it was the first of it's kind and set the standards since it came out.

mehsk1ll :

Poetry is a way of expressing what you see, feel or think in way of words. Usually in a rhyming fashion, poetry is usually written by people who have what is called a "Silver Tongue", these writers are good with words and join them together in logical patterns whether the reader can see them or not, usually in the form of Limericks and usually lacking in any emotional attachment.
Or you have another type of poet called the, "Inspired", these poets, which include me, write with flashes of inspiration brought on by sudden strong emotions or memories and they write them down as the words they "hear" in their mind, they don't always rhyme but they do tend to hold great power emotionally

In this world, hope you can see,
That always love you, will we.

Jordanv78 : well I used to write when I was younger, before I got to High School, {high level equivalent of foreign schooling} but I stopped because I was ridiculed for years over it, roughly 2 years ago I stumbled upon the allpoetry site and decided to join, it wasn't until about 6 months later that my first poem was put up and people's comments pushed me to make more poems, I usually wrote whatever was in my heart the strongest at the time, emotions, memories, desires...

after all the hubbub began to die down I slowly started adding more and more, adding stories to my repertoire as well

On3On: ah ok that makes sense, I've found that the site has a built in filter to prevent non-members and underage members from content marked with Adult, Erotica, etc etc. Most of my poetry on the other hand is NOT of an adult theme though I will admit that a few are as are a few of my stories.

the site I use is called AllPoetry:
www.allpoetry.com/ProtectiveDragon that is a direct link to my profile and should show you the lists of my work on the right hand side

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
